Amazing product, small, easy to charge and use and has been a life saver
If you start the tracker well in advance before your walk, it's actually a very decent gadget. Just need to be prepared to start 10mins before (some days it takes a good 8 mins to find signal), but after that, it gives accurate info (not 100% all the time, but satisfactory all along)

GPS tracker coverage was poor in my area despite Pitpat checking the area and saying it should be good. Tracker used Vodafone signal which is apparently undergoing some maintenance in the area ( Northants) and from my own past experience is not great on a mobile phone in my area either. It didn’t work in woods, only outside open spaces. It also didn’t work on the Suffolk coast in very open spaces. It then stopped communicating for over 24 hours anywhere outside our home and the surrounding fields ( 5G area on O2 mobile) When it does try to connect it takes several minutes as any signal has to go via PitPat, by which time your ‘lost’ dog is long gone! However, it is well made and robust, Pitpat did try to make suggestions to help, but really the signal coverage is out of your control because it is dependent on the SIM card inside the device making contact with a satellite. The activity monitor was a great bit of fun and useful to know how far your hound does go when running to and fro or mooching about the garden. I decided to return the GPS monitor as it wasn’t any use really, but I’ve bought an activity monitor instead. Customer services were great and no quibbles with returning it, refund back on my card within 2 days of them receiving it back. If the GPS coverage and speed of connection could be sorted, or you could chose the network provider for your area, then I would probably buy another.
