SCAM!! They charged my bank account twice!!! One for a special they ran for $40 a year. Then a few days later for $80+!! Noone is responding back when i reach out and the links on website for customer service do not work!! I want my REFUND pixel!!!

I downloaded this app on the basis it was FREE for 3 days then going forward it would be £3.99 a month. I thought ok I could trial it. If I like it £3.99 a month isn’t to bad.. after the 3 days of free use (today) I have woke up with £69.99 taken out of my account I’m guessing that is a years worth of payments. Which is absolutely disgusting! When I clicked pay for purchase on the app I clicked buy on the basis I was paying £3.99 think of it as a contact if you will, so to take £69.99 out of my account blindly is very bad business practice, and by the looks of it that’s standard practice for this app.. apple should really monitor these things better!

I cancelled the same day as the free trial. However, I was then charged the full amount. When I tried to cancel, I was offered a lower rate - how would I know that if I hadn’t cancelled. It’s still not cancelled now… I keep trying, but I’m not getting anywhere. Tried to get a refund from apple - they refused even on appeal.

It's scam, do not use it, i have subscribe before however it keep charging you even you stop the subscription. Support not response.

Beware of the ripoff

I tried the $9.99/month, what a waste. No FAQs, no help on using the site of any kind. No customer support, unless you like waiting a week or longer. Even then, more often than not you get an AI response.

My account renews November 20. On Nov. 17 I closed/canceled it. I have an email that says my account will be closed Nov.21, one day after they can bill me for another month. They didn't close the account immediately, nor did they tell me they would schedule a closing date. They've deliberately set it up to rip me off for another month. Not happening, already contacted cc company.

(Online PC version) Went well for 2 months, then a problem with downloading "enhanced" images started. Enlarging images was no problem. Worked well. When trying to "enhance" the enlarged image it would work (preview showed the enhanced version) but the Download button (that worked for the enlarged version) no longer worked. Tried on 2 PCs but problem still there.
Contacted support. It says they "respond in a few hours"! Well it has been 3 days and not a peep from them.
Highly disappointed considering I am paying for their service.
I can understand if they have a technically problem, but unforgivable that "support" does not get back to you and let you know what is happening and when it will be fixed.
Reading other reviews this seems to be a pattern when it comes to contacting support.
Such a shame as the product was very good for what I needed it to do.
Hopefully my subscription cancellation won't turn into a nightmare as others have experienced. (see other reviews).
I will review my review if anything changes in the near future. Are you listening pixelcut.ai???????

Update as of February 2025...
Problem was sorted after a couple of days. (I initially missed the support email). Since then it has worked without issues. (Works really well when it works).
My initial 1 star has been upgraded to 4 stars. Support did contact me the day after my review, so credit must be given for that. They notified me that the system had experienced an "outage" ... whatever that means. I have been very happy with the results I have been getting since then.
I only hope that cancelling when this project comes to an end will not be a problem. I will report back again when that happens.

I have to admit, I was very surprised to read the other negative reviews here.

I will say that I signed up for the Premium willingly and had I read these reviews before, I probably wouldn't have.

For my part: I'm designing a board game and I have found that its Upscaler, Remove Background feature, and Magic Eraser have been absolutely invaluable with quickly editing images compared to local applications. I have used Pixelcut near enough daily over a three month period and the processing speed has always been extremely fast; unlike another review, I have had zero performance issues in my browser (Safari).

I'm using an ancient machine completely on its way out; a 2019 16" MBP with a failed dGPU, so I'm having to permanently force through iGPU on gSwitch to simply prevent kernel panics. As the software is always speedy on this heap of junk without running into any memory leaks or browser crashes, I was very surprised to hear another reviewer had so many problems on theirs.

I'm personally really impressed with this software, and though I haven't come to cancel the subscription yet, the cancel subscription option is clearly forthcoming in my user settings – so I have little reason to believe they would withhold this.

Somehow ended up with this app. I imagine used it to upscale an image online. Now it charges me even though I have no account. Cancelled my account x2. "support" (in inverted commas as I'm pretty sure it's automated) is repeatedly asking stupid questions like "did you download through this os or that os?" after already explaining and requesting them to delete smh cancel on their end and they are giving directions to things that don't exist or don't work. Don't trust steer clear, extremely unethical and unhelpful. Shame on whoever started / is running this service

Easy to use, does a fantastic job both upscaling and removing backgrounds of even the most intricate clipart!

I cancelled subscription then they still take money from my account. Getting in touch with their customer support is useless as its automated and no one to help you sort it out. Terrible service Stay away.

Don't buy premium if you are going to use this app. It Sucks up a huge amount of browser memory even batch editing just a small amount of pictures, memory usage jumps multiple gigabytes just from trying to background erase a few pictures using batch edit. Not at all worth any kind of money. Will be seeking a refund in full.

Scammers. Wanted to start a free trial and accidently purchased yearly abonnement. Support is ignoring for weeks. Delete them

They charged me when I even didn't have the app on my phone any more . I contacted them seveal time each time they said your refund process initiated and nothing more. Just repeated emails and no customer service. ☹️☹️☹️

Said it was free. It was not, after sign up.
