Hired to replace soffit

Hired to replace soffit. Left unattached with gap at one end. While here suggested other work was needed urgently to main roof and quoted price to do it same day.
On further inspection by a surveyor, damage to main roof was caused by a tile being snapped and loosened. Also confirmed sofitt that was fitted was wrong size and shoddy work. Do not want this company back near my roof. Requested refund but not hopeful on that. Now have to pay a decent company to sort sofitt and other damage to main roof that I strongly believe was deliberate

Incompetent liars

Patrick Rooney (son of boss) was hired to install new dry ridge tiles, however did an incomplete job, missing 2 tiles off one end and the other end didn't have an end tile, just cement. He was also hired to install new guttering, but installed it so that the start of the gutter was low and the end point the water flows to was high, meaning the water had to flow uphill against gravity, which didn't work. He used gutters that were a different size to the connecting house's gutters, didn't tell me, and failed to connect them properly. The connecting clip was not sealed to the connecting gutter and not even screwed into the wall. This caused an enormous constant leak onto my bathroom roof which leaked into my house daily. Patrick lied and said he had poured water into this gutter and tested it was waterproof, which he obviously had not. He damaged several of my original roof tiles while on the roof, causing 2 leaks into my bedroom. He then left all my old guttering in the alley just behind my house and on my bathroom roof, without telling me. His dad John, who I believe owns the business, is ignoring my calls because he can't be bothered to fix his son's terrible work. I wish I had never met them. I have had to pay another competent roofer to replace their terrible guttering job.
