If your mind is bubbling ideas like a water boiler, the tasks to be done are overwhelming, the time is ever too short and the timelines are framing your possibilities tightly you need some relieve: redmine hosted by planio.

It takes your ideas and converts them into issues which can be broken into tasks with easy handling of timelines, timeframes (sprints), delegation, customer involvement.

The know how you build up while joggling with the tasks is kept secured in the easy editable wiki and the users are informed about task status changes by email, if you want that.

However, the restriction of the amount of projects can be a cost intensive hurdle if you want every customer to be treated in a separate project for data access right separation purposes. For many small companies 200€ per months might be too expensive for unlimited number of projects, however, it is cheaper than an extra person would cost to administer all the server site tasks.

Overall, I like and recommend planio and if you have collaborators that deal with host administrations anyway you can always use redmine on your own host and keep the good habits alive that come with using planio's redmine.

I could say a lot of good things about Planio, it's a excellent solution in many ways, but what really impress me is the customer service. They were ready to help every single time we needed, and always with helpful responses.
Our import process were much harder than we initially thought, but Planio support worked hard to adjust everything the way we needed.

Useful and seamless for development team roll-out and project assembly and tracking. GIT repository comes handy in a package.

I　asked Planio support team to import CVS data. The data are exported from other Redmine host and encoded by SJIS (Japanese).

I received some questions about the translation between Japanese and English. Then they completed to import perfectly. Now, I can start the work.

Since 2 years I am a happy user of the redmine system used on a daily basis at customer sites for agile development and quality control.

Now I upgraded my company's bronce plan.io system to the silver level in order to manage all kind of internal projects the very same successful way I've been used to with redmine.

This is for me important because I want to act and re-act as agile as possible on the longer the quicker changing global business opportunities and therefore I need a tool that is easy to use and to adapt to the ever changing requirements of projects and customers.

When I contacted them about Git truble by web form, they give me precision answer within 24h.

Very pleased with the service - no performance problems and everything integrates and works nicely. Planio truly shines with support however: fast responses and always of a high and very professional quality. I'd be more than happy to recommend Planio to anyone who is looking for a project management platform.

I have already worked with Redmine at plan.io before and it was always supported and maintained in a very professional way. There were less problems with the system and in case there was a problem it was solved immediately. I can only recommend it to anyone. Thumbs up!

The service we've received from plan.io (in partucular from Felix Schäfer) surpassed our expectations. I've asked him to make a change to our setup in the middle of Sunday night, and Felix got it taken care of within a few minutes.

Great Interface of Redmine just tunned as we needed

Indeed a very inclusive hosting of popular Redmine platform.
Accompanied with helpful Guides (like how-to, FAQ, Support tips) going beyond the original Redmine wiki and written in very good language.
If some internal administrative assistance is required, it is being offered promptly.
A wide range of service plans to choose from, including one free plan (not time-limited).
As a minor deficiency: I could not see the "Bug" issue type "out of the box", while adding it is not a big deal. I think "Bug" type of work differs from common "Task" and so deserves its own tracker.
Overall: very good and comprehensive.

We have started using Plan.io as our single means of collaboration and task assignment system. However, there are areas that we are still exploring. Our eventual target will be to use plan.io as an internal KPI system. We plan to do this by extracting data from the plan.io database and plot it against a KPI system which we will be building.If Plan.io could do this, it will enable us to move forward even sooner than expected.

Ever since I have started using the system I have managed to keep track of all my tasks and activities related to all of my projects. It is now virtually impossible to forget any open task.
This system was truly designed for people that have a lot on their plate. Im happy that I have encountered this.

I love that modern companies are now allowed to have personailities and Planio exemplifies that.
Everyone I spoke to (Felix Schafer and Louise Engel) has been helpful, friendly and passionate. If I'm ever in Berlin I feel like I want to stop in and say hello! This service is what made me look at Planio in the first place and hopefully means I will stay with them for a while to go.

Dealings with many different companies support techs over the years have usually reinforced my opinion that they are all brainless subhumans worthy of nothing but ridicule and abuse. Plan.io, (and support tech Holger Just in particular,) on the other hand, have been one of the few to not only reverse that opinion, but to quickly earn my trust and respect. They answered my questions fast and courteously, and the info provided was exactly what I needed. I can honestly say I've never dealt with a more helpful support tech. I'll be recommending them to anyone in need of Redmine hosting in the future.
