horrible! dont go!!!! i came in to pay a past due balance due to a change in card exp. and they told me i owe 86$ more after i paid in full 2/12/26. 5 days earlier. no one had any knowledge or professionals. they refused to allow me to work out while they figured it out. they told me there is no mgr so they can't help me. but they see i made a huge pymt 5 days earlier!!!!! worst team ever! they are incompetent and unprofessi8onal. i will go to la fitness. smh shame on you! get better staff

has been so needed in helping me to gain health and strength after a back injury. ( I did do sessions with a PT before heading the the gym ) .TJ has been especially helpful.

I think Georgetown South Carolina for providing planet fitness to all the civilians building his spacious ventilation is perfect equipment is very well useful including the employees nice and motivated thank you planet fitness

Their televised after new years deals are buried in the fine print. If you're going to have a new year's resolution you need to look at the fine print, there are charges upon charges. Just when you think there are no more charges here comes more!

Aesthetically not the most appealing but totally functional and delivers on everything advertised. Would recommend to anyone. The donut and pizza days are a little weird / counterintuitive for fitness goals but I support it if it excites people to come to the gym. Great business model overall

I canceled my membership last month and they took 25.35 out of my account. I chalked that up to bad timing. Then they took 49.00 out of my account on Friday. Are they that greedy? I dont go there. I called my local branch and was told my Tyler that I can't cancel over the phone. The clerk last month told me no problem. 74.35 in the hole is alot to give away to big company.

We are members at Planet Fitness in Troy, OH. All of the staff members have been warm and welcoming but one stands out above them all. Henry is considerate and caring for the customers. Tonight he helped my daughter when she wasn’t feeling well by giving her a Gatorade and following up with her. 5 stars for all the staff- especially during the stressful period of opening a new location. And extra thanks to Henry for his extra care and concern tonight.

Have used this gym for about a week while traveling to a temporary location. Overall great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Red light therapy and massage equipment really helpful. NO shortage of machines of all types and one never has to wait for a specific machine. Different types of bikes available, plus lots of treadmills, stair machines, ellipticals, etc.

The only thing I'd recommend improvement is that there is very limited functional training equipment. (Matts, soft balls, TheraBands, etc.) I need these for specific exercises due to an injury.

Very disappointed with this chain of gyms. I joined as travelling USA in RV for showers. Been to a fair few and all I can say is it disgusting.
Seguin Texas drains stank and there were those black drain moth flies all over the walls about 200 told staff merely shrugged.
The showers are not strong, most do smell and arent clean
Waco Texas didn’t even have a hairdryer. The lad on reception said he’d never had anyone ask! I have never been to a gym in uk Europe that hasn’t had one and most of yours do

It’s freezing snow here in Waco and I’ve had to walk out with wet hair, very unhappy and if it wasn’t for a case of needing showers then I’d quit
What a disgraceful response, it’s for YOU to send a test customer in from Corporate, it’s for YoU to reach out to the Manager, NOT for me to return 300 miles as I move around and tell the manager. You are clearly not interested and shirking your responsibility to clients health, I’ve raised issues that could make people ill, I’m disgusted and will look at YMCA’s who have pools instead. Not good enough

OI like very much this gym, but lately we're having issues with equipment out of order quiet frequently, and pretty much the dame exact equipment so maybe need a replacement.
Also today while biking I couldn't see the Fox News channel because the TV N3 was out, in between 5.30 - 6.30 am.

Dirty, no working cleaning stations. It's obvious Saundra is no longer here, as when she was this place was always top notch!

I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness for 5 years. I go to the location at 114th Street and Metcalf in Overland Park, Kansas. I’ve put up with leaky shower heads, no soap, in showers, and broken machines. They’ve finally updated a few pieces of equipment, and decided to reduce the number of cardio stations. They’ve drastically reduced the number of stationary cycling machines. There are now only 2 traditions exercycle machines, 2 recumbent bikes, and 2 spin cycles. Meanwhile, there are still 20 treadmills. Horrible decision. Now we wait for a regular exercise bike because there are only 2. I’m leaving.

Just to acknowledge great customer service when it is recognized. I’ve witnessed Noah at the front desk in Groton with staff and customers. My impression has been that he is very professional and great with the customers .

I just joined planet fitness and chose the black card so my partner can have the same benefits as I do when they go now as of Jan 2026 they won't allow your gym partner to use the back facilities. They have to get their own membership. That's just dissapointing!!!!

I've been a member for about a year, have to cancel because I'm moving and they don't have club close enough to me. I've used probably 5 or 6 of their clubs and always found them to be clean, really well equipped and people to be considerate. These clubs come in at less than half what you will pay anywhere else, so I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Unlimited tanning, red light therapy, massage chairs and a well equipped gym all for $25 a month...? What more could you ask for?! Great customer service and just overall good value.

As a new member to Planet Fitness, I’m enjoying the music. It’s never too loud and just the right mix. My best experience was with the staff at the Lincolnton, North Carolina Planet Fitness was the staff helped me straighten out my account. They were very courteous and very knowledgeable.

I have been a cardiac nurse for over 25 years, so I know a safety hazard when I see one. Tonight, a treadmill (2nd row, 6th from left) began making a loud grinding sound indicative of motor failure. I immediately stopped the machine and reported it to the front desk employee, Jesus.

Instead of inspecting the machine or tagging it "Out of Order," Jesus refused to leave the desk, refused to call a manager, and dismissed my concern by claiming the machine "wasn't broken"—without ever looking at it. I watched in horror as he allowed another member to step onto that same malfunctioning treadmill minutes later.

This location is knowingly gambling with member safety. They are ignoring mechanical warnings and violating their own safety standards. I am canceling my membership immediately. Do not trust this gym with your safety.

Paid for the black membership and can’t use the tanning bed even though they’re empty. Don’t spend money on the black pass. You don’t get the value out of it.
