I would recommend anyone wishing to look at installing a solar system contact this company for a quote.

However contractors refused to remove packaging from site had to contact head office to get this done.

Despite a little delay outside of their control, the team have been great. From the quote to the install, the team have been top class. And the power we’re now self generating is incredible! Well worth the investment!

The company provided a competitive quote. Could install the system within very good timescales delivered and installed the product to the timings they gave. All staff, from sales to technical assessment and installation were polite and professional and a pleasure to deal with and gave excellent tuition as to how to use the system and app. Very helpful answering any queries we had.

Plan solar were very patient in answering our many questions prior to installation. The installation was carried out well and we like the matt finish of the panels. We also like the benefits of solar power.

The company did everything they promised.

5.8 kWh battery installed , to work alongside existing PV panels. Work went well, electricians did a great job. Lack of scaffolding on site could have postponed the job to another day, but they were able to arrange it last minute so job still went ahead and completed on the day. After sales service has been very good, always got back to me, particularly with any queries I have had with the App or GroWatt web-site where I can monitor performance of panels and battery

Plan solar installed our solar panels well, they were thoughtful about the placement of the panels and competitively priced. Good communication throughout. My only negative is we were told on the phone that one option for the battery was for it to go in the attic but upon arrival the engineer said it would be too heavy to put up there.

Everything went to plan. Slight error with the inverter but thus got sorted after a phone call.

Writing on day after completion.
SCAFFOLDERS....nice & friendly did a good job.
Roofers very good worked really hard in cold conditions.
Electrician very good, knowledgeable & answered all my questions.
System installed & commissioned with no issues.
All worked as a team & got job completed in good time.
Will follow up comments if any after sales issues, paperwork / MCS pack etc.

MCS Cert & G99 Cert received in less than two weeks very quick.
So far so good.

Today received installation / commissioning / Workmanship Warranty Paperwork .
System installed nearly two weeks with no issues. already saving on electricity.
Would recommend Plan Solar.

Everyone at Plan Solar were great from the sales team to the fitters. Job completed in a good time frame. My only issue is that they have left the battey sat on the garage floor so I'm a little concerened it's going to get damaged, if it wasn't for this it would have been 5 stars.

Installation top class. Back-up very lax. Trying for a few days to get the system sorted out and no response from them. Beginning to regret.

Overall I am happy with Plan Solar although I have to deduct one star because of a mixup between the sales department and the installation department. The quotation that I asked for was for an in roof system but the installation team arrived on 7th November with an on roof system. The problem then was that the materials were not available because of the high demand so the job could not be completed until 17th December.
Other than that, the quote was competitive, the workmen were very friendly, the installation looks neat and all the excess materials were removed.
The system has been working as expected since the installation was completed.

They gave a detailed, competitive quote and were able to install far quicker than other companies who all had supply issues. Friendly staff, overall very good.

Easy no stress install, although disappointed with the scaffolders quite ignorant both teams that put it up and took it down, had issues with the gutting leaking after they had gone, overall experience was good but a little tainted by the scaffolders

The fitters were very professional and cleaned up after themselves we were missing a lead for one of the batteries which arrived and fitted a few days afterwards. The entire process was completed on time and budget

Plan Solar were friendly and helpful. It took about 6 weeks from ordering to installation, which I consider good, but the order was for 3 batteries and only 1 was installed (I was only charged for what was installed). Apparently there was a shortage of the batteries.
Plan Solar fitted the other 2 batteries on 14/1. It only took a couple of hours and now I have the system I asked for. I would recommend them; if it wasn't for the hiccup I would give them 5 stars.

Installation team (including scaffolding) were brilliant, friendly, efficient & very willing to answer questions.

Really pleased with the installation, and the equipment .....

BUT I found that official communication ceased after my final payment. I am still waiting to hear about my G98 certification .. no answer to email requesting an update. I have queries about my battery performance, which are not being answered by the technical team.

I understand totally the effect of negative criticism on sites such as Trustpilot, and for communications my star rating would have been a single star. I don't feel this company deserves such a low rating for an overall experience, but they certainly need to "shift up" a few gears with their efforts on communications.

Painless experience, guys were very efficient , very polite and tidy.
