About Plantarcure

Written by the company

Get plantar fasciitis pain relief and heel pain treatment with PlantarCure. Simple, painless and easy to use.

Plantar fasciitis is a common cause of foot pain, characterised by pain at the base of the heel. The plantar fasciia is a thick bundle of fibres running from the toes to the heel. When damage is caused to these fibres, you can experience pain and stiffness at the base of the heel.

The PlantarCure device generates high-frequency waves which passes through the skin to the damaged fibres. Pain is transmitted as impulses in the large sensory fibres of the body and by applying a certain frequency to the area of pain, it interacts with the pain impulse transmissions, causing disruption. The pulse is effectively ‘scrambling’ the sensory impulses to the extent that they cannot be interpreted as pain signals by the brain.

In addition to the pain relieving effects of the device, the stimulation causes an increase in blood flow to the plantar fasciia which induces androgenesis in the tissues to speed up the healing process.

This is a treatment modality approved for many conditions by NICE, the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence.

The Plantarcure device has helped my plantar fasciitis symptoms to improve. After only two weeks, my symptoms haven't disappeared completely, but have decreased to the point that I can do more activity. Even on a day when I've walked more than usual, my feet aren't as painful afterwards as long as I keep up the treatments consistently. Also, I was notified when the product had shipped and been delivered. It arrived in good time.

No improvement after 3 weeks

This a generic machine…you will see it is also advertised as a cure for tennis elbow, golfers elbow etc etc. I have used it for several weeks now but there has been no improvement. The fact its advertised for other ailments( and marketed differently) is a concern to me.

Reply from Plantarcure

Hi Shaun,

Plantarcure has sister products which are very similar, not the same. The device started in 2010 for tennis elbow and was launched as Plantarcure (originally called Heelease as a different version which wasn't rechargeable) around 5 years ago. The guidance from the MHRA was to produce it this way rather than being an 'all things to all conditions' device so the clinical trials could be done on separate conditions. This means we don't make claims for treating every condition without it being backed up with evidence. I hope that answers your question.

I'm sorry you didn't get any results. We do offer a money back guarantee in the first two weeks. I hope you have successful results with other methods of treatment.

Fast relief from pain

Ordered and received within 48 hours.
Two days of using this for 10 mins twice a day has already made a huge difference to the pain. I agree with other comments that the strap could be better but that's a minor point. Great little device and I'm really glad I bought it.

Incredible!

This amazing little device has literally changed my life. I've had chronic foot pain for over 6 months and nothing has been able to offer relief until now! I have been using this device for around 4 weeks as per the instructions and I am now at the stage where I don't have morning foot pain and only need to use it after a long walk or after having to stand too long at work. I am confident that after a couple more weeks I won't be using it at all and that my foot will be back to normal.

My only moan would be that the strap could do with some refining but that's so minor compared with the results you get from this. Can't thank the inventor enough!

PlantarCure is working for me!

I have been using the my Plantarcure for a couple of weeks now and it has made my heels feel a lot better. Have suffered with plantar fasciitis for about 18 months, have tried many things to cure it and so far this has been the best, will carry on using it and hopefully soon it will go altogether. The devise is very well made. My order was placed on a Sunday evening and was delivered on Tuesday morning, you can’t ask for better than that. Would recommend to anyone with plantar fasciitis to try Plantarcure.

Bought this about 3 years go as I was desperate for some pain relief. Used it for a few weeks and maybe noticed a small improvement, nothing much.
Cut to today, and after trying several new batteries this thing won't run at all. Won't even turn on. Contacted the "support" mailbox but they weren't interested.

Save your money and keep stretching.

Plantarcure Pain Relief

I've used the predeccesor of this product (Heelease) for 6 weeks now as it was loaned to be my my father-in-law, who had found it really helpful. It eased my pain straight away. I couldn't say if it cures plantar fasciitis, but it definitely helps ease the pain. I use this alongside using insoles and doing stretching exercises. I was able to enjoy a relatively pain-free day out in London recently. I have just ordered myself a Plantarcure, because I want to give the Heelease back to my father-in-law. I would highly recommend this for anyone suffering from this horrid condition.

Great product for plantar fasciitis

I'm so glad i found this product, it has worked amazingly for me. I'd been struggling with plantar for a while, the physio i was seeing wasn't helping and it was affecting my ability to exercise. After a week of using this my foot was no longer sore or stiff in the morning. I feel no pain or aches when running, there is a little soreness after, but nothing like the pain i used to have. I use the machine in the morning and night and, so far, its been a life changer. thank you

Worth it to fight back against PF

High-level message: I'm glad a bought this. It was a slightly desperate purchase with the second bout of plantar fasciitis and the knowledge it often takes a year to get better. I'd had professional shockwave therapy on my knee but it was no longer available from that source, and I was hoping this might be some sort of substitute. It's nowhere near as powerful (or painful) but has the advantage that you can use it more regularly. After using it, my foot felt tingly and like healing was happening. It's only as I write this review I realise I've got out of bed the past few mornings without limping. It's good to have *something* to fight back against plantar fasciitis.

I have been suffering from planters fasciitis for about 15 moths - I have tried so many things and some ease the pain - this device I used for a few days and I at last can see a light at the end of the tunnel- just amazing 👍🏻

NOT a Shock Wave Therapy Device

There are many references to Shock Wave Therapy on Plantacure's Website and the benefits of the treatment for which there is scientific evidence of its benefits in treating Plantar Fasciitis.
Don't be fooled. This is in no way related to the Plantacure device. Plantacure only uses vibration in various different rhythms.
The vibration doesn't feel sufficient to give much, if any pain relief and the instructions say to place it over the site of pain (the heel in the case of PF) however the photos do not reflect this.
