3 DAY TRIAL BUT CANCEL ON DAY 2??

This app advertises through social media. The first RED FLAG was it states the app is TOTALLY FREE! We ALL know NOTHING is TOTALLY FREE. I took the bait, signed up for the 3 day trial.. even checked the box for a reminder to cancel before trial ended. I canceled on day 3 of my trial… checked my account and saw no charges so I assumed all was well. 3 days later I see the 9.99 charge on my account billed through Apple. I reach out to Apple … explain the situation but I am REFUSED a refund…TWICE…
I go back to the site and reach out to their customer support… who directs me BACK to Apple for the refund??? At this point it’s MORE about principle and less about the $$$.
A 3 day trial that has to be cancelled in 2 days to avoid billing equals DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.
