I bought the anti grey because I have a severe hair dye allergy. I have used this for a couple of weeks now and have no allergic reaction whatsoever however I don’t see any difference in my grey. I ha... See more

Itchy, bumpy scalp
Had some grey hairs coming through and a bit of peri-menopausal hair fall so thought I would give the brown plantur a go.
I used it regularly for a few months.Started getting an itchy scalp and weirdly an itchy middle of my back too. I didn't click it was the shampoo. I changed all of my styling products and my washing powder. Still itching like crazy. Noticed itchy bumps all over my head. I was spending a fortune on scalp soothers and anti-fungal shampoos.
Eventually I decided to embrace the grey and stop using this shampoo, you know, just incase.
Wow! It was almost immediate relief. I now haven't used the shampoo or conditioner for 2 weeks and guess what? My scalp is itch free. My back is itch free, and my hair feels in much better condition. No more hair fall either.
So no, I wouldn't recommend it.
Gave me an itchy scalp and dry, frizzy hair.
My hair is long and generally healthy and shiny. But, like many women my age, I was experiencing more hair loss than usual, so I thought I'd give this product a try.
What a mistake. After a couple of washes, my scalp began to itch quite badly, and my hair started to feel like straw, and instead of looking as it normally did, it became frizzy.
I would definitely not recommend this shampoo.
Been using plantur 39 shampoo and…
Been using plantur 39 shampoo and conditioner for fine hair for probably over 3 years now. Have started using the tonic recently and all I can say is perseverance. My hair is in great condition than it has ever been. I used to wash my hair every day now it's twice a week so much more body to it. My hairdresser has even said no split ends and dryness. Do try folks keep at it
Horrifying
Holy hell. Do not use this product without spot testing. It gave me the worst rashes I've ever had in my life - all over my body. Be careful.
Making hair very greasy
Making hair very greasy, but say use less often, but directions say use every day, which is it, very disappointed would not recommend especially as it is priced a bit much for a shampoo, in my opinion don't rate it at all
Throw it away!
Thought I would try this as noticing a little thinning due to menopause. What a mistake! My hair began to fall out in literal clumps, itchy scalp and I’m left with limp, thin, wispy hair. This has really shaken my confidence and I don’t know if my hair will ever recover.

Wish I’d have read the reviews before spending my money on this health hazard.
Been using this for just over 3 weeks, bought the brown one to conceal my greying roots, It turned my grey hair ginger, it looked ridiculous but besides that, it has left my scalp dry and itching with scabs and where the scabs are iv lost patches of hair, I’m mortified. My hair feels like straw, the conditioner is absolutely rubbish.
I don’t recommend this product ATAL, personally think it should be recalled after so many reviews about adverse reactions
Plantur has changed my life
Plantur has changed my life! and take ALL my worry away...... I used the shampoo every time I wash my hair, which is no more than x2 a week and I use the tonic everyday. It has made a profound difference to my hair loss! I saw a difference in just two weeks; But thought it was my imagination?! so tested it with the hair left in my comb over a week of combing, once a day every day. I now have only a quarter of the hair in my comb by the end of the week, incredible! ... 2 months on and I haven't had any sensitivity on my scalp, the tonic doesn't make my hair greasy, my hair feels thicker and I am delighted, as the amount of hair that was shedding was far too much! I am over 60yrs and have the head of hair of a 30yr old..... I also use argan oil (Moroccanoil) on my 'wet hair' after washing, I just gently pull/rub it through and style, I find this better than loads of conditioner as the oil feeds rather than covers the hair. Thank you Plantur!
My hair is thicker than it's ever been.
I love this company's products. I am perimenopausal but after using this product for a few years my hair is the thickest it's ever been, easier to care for and I also love the brunette version which turns my grey hair light brown which blends in nicely. I recommend this product. I think people leaving negative reviews are giving up too quickly. It took 6 months to work but the results are impressive.

I bought the shampoo and conditioner but it was off no use very deceitful from the pictures I saw it made my hair fall more and no real colour at all very disappointing.

I'm 74 with long redhair (beautiful colour of ginger)
My hair was falling out all over the house When I combed it I was losing a hell of a lot of hair
I used plantur 39 for 2 months and was very happy with the results
My hair stopped falling out after the 1st month My hair was shiny and very healthy My only criticism is it made my bright red hair darker

Has made my hair extremely dry and brittle I will be changing my hair brand permantely from this Plantur39 shampoo and conditioner, Would not recommend to anyone, it strips the hairs natural oils
Lost its shine
It doesn’t work but makes the hair very brittle and horrible. I lost the natural shine of my hair.also got very itchy scalp. Such an expensive shampoo with no result. Don’t waste money on it.
It’s a wash out!
Only used Plantur 39 Anti Grey Shampoo 4 times but had to stop. No colour change. It made my hair dull and I have naturally shiny hair. It made my hair thinner, flat and brittle. My hair was in better condition before using it. I only hope I can get my hair back to how it was. It’s the most expensive shampoo I have bought and the worst! The bottle is hard to squeeze with my arthritic hands and thumbs. I would have given zero stars if I could! Don’t waste your money!
Waste of money
Bought the plantur anti grey conditioner, it didn't do a thing, what a waste of money. Did contact them for a refund, alot of back and forth, said they couldn't help me as I bought it from boots and not online, asked for complaints department or head office contact and they have just completely ignored me. Wish I would of read the reviews before I bought this.
Long term not good
Bought shampoo and leave in conditioner in Jan 2025. Used both twice weekly. Looked good for 6 weeks but then had irritable scalp and noticed short hairs on towel. Just used a normal shampoo today but think i need Simple or something to get rid of it. My scalp still itchy as i write this. Bad dry patches.. I have learnt not to give early reviews and was right in this case.
Before buying I saw the specifications…
Before buying I saw the specifications and they clearly show with a photo the color it reaches and it looks almost black, but the photo of the box I received shows that it reaches a light brown blonde, so after using it for 2 weeks my hair has a horrible color contrast, I do not recommend it.
Hair gone severely brittle
Hitting the menopause age and noticing hair falling out more I thought I’d try this, to be fair, I didn’t notice as much hair falling out as I used to, however, a month after starting to use it, I wash my hair twice a week, I noticed when I tie my hair up I had loads of bits hanging down at the back that didn’t reach my normal ponytail, this shampoo has caused my hair to became so brittle it’s literally snapping. I used the conditioner also. Very very disappointed and would advise people against using it. I washed it this morning and literally this evening my hair feels like straw. If you’ve got fine hair already, I haven’t to be fair, I’d steer well clear of this
Use eucerin shampoo all the time
Use eucerin shampoo all the time. But it has got so expensive I thought I would try plantur shampoo. What a disaster after one use my scalp was dry and irritated. My hair looked bad and seemed to go thin and brital was breaking off to. I have gone back to my eucerin and it has taken 4 weeks for my hair to begin to recover. Have always had trouble with all shampoos apart from eucerin but nothing as bad as plantur will always stay on eucerin now. It's expensive but fab. Plantur really bad.
My question is if I don't have hair…
My question is if I don't have hair loss problems can I still use this product in order to help grow my hair?
