I placed my second order with Plastics Express last week and have no complaints at all.
This was in July 2020 towards the end of the lockdown and I was a little concerned how long it would take and having placed the order late Wednesday afternoon, on the Friday morning, having no delivery date I rang them. A girl in the office said she would ring me back which she did and promised the order would go out that day. Later that day I received email confirmation that it had. I received my well wrapped parcels on the Monday.
The prices are VERY competitive and my first order arrived the next day. My second took three days which is still pretty good.
Will certainly use them again.......

I would only use again if I wasn't in a hurry and didn't need to know when my order would arrive.
Pros
- cheaper than competition
- they did answer the phone
- the order did eventually arrive (after 6 business days) and was correct
Cons
- no indication of when order would arrive
- finally arrived this morning despite staff telling me yesterday that I wouldn't receive it until tomorrow so it was just luck I was around to accept it.
- website still says the status is "New" and hasn't changed since I first placed the order
- no email communication apart from initial receipt of order

Ordered bits told 2/3 days delivery after 5 days told it was on its way later told payment did not go through
looked at bank statement it had gone out 7 days previous rang again to be told a lot of lies.... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Really poor communication and do not respond .
Ordered small item delivery charge was high but when I asked how long Responded to say it was over a week ? Then sent email same day apologising as I could not wait that long and to cancel.
Since then they have ignored over 5 emails never answered the phones ,delivered the item,and did not refund all the money I had paid and I had to pay to send it back.

First class and prompt delivery. Don’t answer calls don’t reply to emails but delivered as stated and great prices. Will use again.

Avoid at all costs, i placed an order then found out that it would be around 10 days for delivery, so i tried calling the office but no one ever answered so i sent an emailing canceling the order, obviously no one read this either and the goods turned up about a week later, i tried calling again but still no answer so i sent another email, but again no reply, i eventually got hold of someone on the phone after calling again and again until someone answered, she looked through the emails and see that i had cancelled the order, apologised and arranged for the goods to be collected, this was done the next day, this was nearly 2 weeks ago and still no refund, ive called this morning only to be told that they would have to check to see if the goods had been returned and then arrange a refund! i then spoke to another girl (Lauren) who told me that the goods were back with them and that the refund would be arranged today and should be back within a couple of days!!!! i won't hold my breathe

I ordered then read the reviews and began to worry that the goods would not arrive for when I had my plant booked. As others have said no communication. No notice of dispatch. Bought items again from local builder's merchants. Then on the morning of starting work the order arrived! So on the plus side it was cheap but on the negative a lot of stress and inconvenience caused by having to return excess goods. Totally unnecessary with some communication. Dispatch email sent a week after order arrival. Most online retailers these days seem to manage some sort of customer service. Not this lot.

I have placed a few orders over the last few years and the service has got steadily worse. No delivery dates given, will not answer phone or email. My latest order arrived incomplete 2 days ago and despite over 50 calls and 3 emails I cannot get a response. I have now had to buy from another supplier who was far more helpful. Never buy from plastics express again.

Placed order on 09/06/2020, despite trying to call them and 5 emails i am still no closer to knowing when my order may arrive. I asked for standard delivery and thought maybe a week wait but 9 days with no communication from them is ridiculous.
They are now known to me as " Plastics" because they certainly are not express.

So I ordered without reading reviews which was my own fault clearly. Yes comms are poor but it did arrive within a week and all 14 items were there. Didn’t answer phone or reply to e mail from me but I did get a delivery advice e mail 3 hours before it arrived. Unfortunately I had ordered the urgent bits again from a next day delivery supplier - and this order is late ! so overall Plastics express didn’t over promise much and didn’t impress me much but at least I have the order and I didn’t pay for next day delivery that didn’t turn up. With better comms from PE this would have been a 5 star as I wouldn’t have ordered urgent bits again and could have planned better.

Very poor service no reply to emails and do not answer the phone so unable to sort out issues with missing items from order

Only option now is to open a case with credit card company for refund

Been waiting 12 days for a delivery no reply to emails no one answering the phone will have to get refund via pay pal its says on website still delivering should have read reviews before ordering

11 days in, no goods sent, no answer to telephone calls. I think they don't exist...
...SO, the very next day after posting the above on Trustpilot and an email to company demading a refund, 12 days after placing original order, I got a text saying my order was being delivered today by courier. Order did arrive, all perfect.
Admittedly they may have had delays with covid, but their total lack of communication was bad service.
I changed my original review from 1 star to 3 because goods did come eventually.

Worse than Terrible! Ordered 2 x three metre pipes, only sent one. Simple for them to resend, but cannot get in touch with them ANYWAY. Absolutely no answer to their two phone numbers, and after more than 20 emails, realise nothing is going to arrive, and my requests for a refund have been ignored completely. There should be some way of stopping trading like this. I am going to apply to credit card, but order was less than £100 so looks like I am going to have to live with it. Surely it is theft? NEVER shopped online with such treatment. Trading Standards should look into this cheating company - takes your money and gives nothing but misery back.

Avoid this shower at all costs. Their customer care is non existent.
They deliver damaged good then replace with more damaged goods. they ignore emails and don't answer the phone. How they are in business amazes me. I advise not to buy from them as if this is how they treat customers in my opinion they will not survive long. I have had to get my card supplier to reclaim the cost.

Ordered underground pipes and fittings. priced well and delivery on time.

Buy elsewhere. Waited two weeks for delivery, then got wrong item. Promised replacement every week for another 5 weeks but never arrived. Hopeless customer service, just say item on the way but never comes!

Poor service, I should have read the previous reviews before i ordered!

Instead I placed an order well before Christmas so that I could do some work over the holidays when not at work. The delivery never turned up despite three dates being given. Chased-up many times and on the few times I did manage to get through I was fobbed off with false promises. Now having to fight to get my money back :(

I ordered my drainage items from this company before seeing the reviews and was then worried to see the average rating when I went back into the website to potentially add to the order.

Having ordered on Friday, the products were delivered today (Tuesday) and really happy with them and the price I paid.

A couple of things could really improve the service if my experience wasn’t a one off namely an immediate confirmation email of the order and an indication of when the items would be delivered. Mind you, I emailed the generic email address last thing at night with the above questions and had a response first thing in the morning from Lauren with my invoice and telling me delivery would be today.

Speak as you find..... no issues and would use again

Used to use them all the time and they were great, but I have a feeling they are running on a shoestring and on the brink of ceasing to operate, Order took 2 weeks to process and 23 out of 5 items were wrong, cant get them on the phone and they don't respond to email
