Platform Property recently sold our house and we were very happy with their service.

Laurence and his team were excellent at trying to ensure everything went as smoothly as possible, and were always very friendly and helpful.

Would definitely recommend to prospective sellers and buyers.

When is a terrace not a terrace? When it's a link detached according to Platformproperty.
A property is listed as link detached and this is also highlighted in the sales bullet points. The pictures clearly show it is attached to a larger house on one side and then has a first floor bedroom over a tunnel for cars, attaching to another house. This is clearly a terrace house. I called the agent who then told me there is a foot gap between the houses. The pictures clearly show there is no gap. I think some of these agents believe their own lies. Unbelievable.

Lovely bunch of people! Very helpful and dynamic in their approach. All aspects of our sale were handled professionally and with great respect for us and the property. They were particularly good when our first buyer literally disappeared, much to all our horror. They quickly got on the case to find a new buyer and did so within 2 weeks with several viewings taking place.
I would highly recommend these guys for sure.

Sold our house in Otford in September Can't recommend highly enough. Customer service to their fingertips. So useful having a 7 day a week service. Quickly reconstructed the chain when it collapsed mid transaction. Once the sale price was agreed the were so pro active at helping bring the transaction to a conclusion responding at all hours. Unlike any other Estate Agent experience. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.

It is the second time we are using Platform Property. Five years ago we used Platform to buy our first house and they were excellent, so we decided to use them again in the sale of our house. We were really impressed with their work ethic and dedication throughout the six month moving process. They worked tirelessly to ensure the process was moving forward and they were proactive in updating and advising us. Adam, Laurence and Toni were superb throughout and we would thoroughly recommend them and use Platform again if needed.

We contacted Platform Property to sell our house in Otford after experiencing a very poor service from another local estate agent - our only regret is that we didn't use them initially.

Toni who dealt with us post sale was also superb. She took control of the whole chain, chasing people up and giving us unprompted weekly updates which made the whole moving process far less stressful.

Platformproperty have been extremely professional in every way in our recent purchase in Sundridge. Every member of staff we met or spoke to was helpful and efficient. Our principal point of contact has been Laurence Dengate. We cannot speak highly enough of Laurence’s consistent level of courtesy and effective communication through what could have been a very difficult time. His sensitivity, good humour and exceptional negotiation skills are a credit to this business and we would recommend Laurence and his team unreservedly. A complete five star service from beginning to end.

My Family dealt with Platform Property whilst selling our family house which we had lived in for 60+ years. As you can imagine leaving such a property was incredibly difficult and Platform were patient with us and supportive whilst we searched for the correct family to make memories in a house we cared for.

A lot of Estate agents have a bad reputation for looking out for their business first and clients second but Platform were in no way like this. We genuinely felt they cared. They were always available to answer any questions we had and they made the process seamless. They carried out a huge number of viewings at our house and were incredibly professional throughout each one.

We are incredibly lucky to have such a talented group of estate agents so close to us.

APPALLING COMPANY, IMO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Platform Property make lots of pretentious claims about what they can achieve for you however our experience has been somewhat different. My wife and I put two of our properties on the market with this, company, at the peak of the property boom (at the tail end of Covid) and they failed to sell either of our properties and just seemed to lose interest after a while and so we removed one from their books, the other was sold by Ibbett Mosley (who we have found to be unpretentious and very fair and good).

Platform property also like to charge you a fee if you leave them (unlike many other agents) which they decided to charge us twice for, I protested this fee only to have a somewhat aggressive and obnoxious Tom (CEO (which begs the question, who is their MD then?) of Platform property call me up bleating about how difficult it was for him etc etc however after much huffing and puffing they eventually backed down and refunded me the fee.

Our property had been removed from their books for some time (as we had removed it from the open market over the winter period) however a couple of weeks ago we had had a correspondence from their ‘CEO' asking us whether we would like to return to their books, as such we decided to have a look at their site (many, many months after we had left them) only to discover our home was STILL LISTED on their site and moreover it was shown as SOLD!!! My wife and I were astonished and utterly horrified as for a period of time we had been with another agent. As an addition to this they were also using pictures on their site that didn’t actually belong to them!! We have retained the evidence of this and are considering a number of potential legal avenues. Additionally we will be taking this complaint to the Property Ombudsmen.

Presumably Platform Property do this to give a false impression of how well they are doing at selling. When we were with them however a neighbour overheard their member of staff being asked which council tax band our property was in only to have their sales agent in question reply, “I have no idea” or words to that effect so they don’t appear to know what they are talking about either. In my view you are just as well off putting your property on a conduit site yourself and saving yourself their excessive fees.

The bottom line is, we feel they were very poor at what they were doing and that they have ideas above their station somewhat as they seemed to fail to perform on almost every level. What is more, unlike most other agents in the area, (and despite what they tell you) they don’t have a high St presence at all, just some little back street office. See for yourselves.

In our view, avoid at ALL costs, there are FAR better agents out there and you wouldn’t have to look too far to find one IMO..

After trying for well over four years to sell our property using and miserably failing with the more so-called 'established' estate agents in the Sevenoaks area, we decided to take a 'punt' on a relative 'new kid on the block' in Platform Property.

We need not have worried!

Right from the get-go, there was a sea-change in the approach taken by Platform Property. Extremely hands-on, proactive, with a constant flow of communication between us. Always on hand to receive and answer my own and Fru's many questions! Nothing was ever a problem for Adam, in particular and he always dealt with anything asked of him, in an extremely polite and professional manner. He also provided me with very frank advice at the start of the process, which was instrumental in achieving our sale.

In a profession that doesn't always have the best reputation, we can honestly say this is the first time we genuinely felt an estate agent was actively engaged and keen to work for us!

Adam was a stand out in that regards, in terms of keeping us fully up to date with developments. We'd also like to express our thanks to Eloise for her help in conducting the viewings very professionally and being on hand to answer all our questions. Finally, Fionn, in the sales team, who kept us fully up to date through to completion and who was also instrumental in pushing our sale through, in order to take advantage of the stamp duty holiday!

It didn't escape our attention that other people who were also looking to sell in our area, all started jumping ship to Platform Property after us and I noticed that all have been successful in achieving accepted offers! The word has clearly got around!

I'd like to add what impressed us more than anything was that in an area where other properties far exceeded the value of our own, never felt a poor relation or that higher value properties were prioritised ahead of our own. A lesson other estate agents could well learn.

Platform Property, like another previous reviewer mentioned, is a very young company, who possess a great work ethos. If they are able to maintain this high standard and keep their staff, I can envisage them cornering the who market in the areas they operate and to be honest, it would be well deserved.

Please don't drop the high standards and benchmarks you've set and yes, keep up the excellent work!

We used Platform Property to sell our house in Westerham. From start to finish the team were brilliant. A constant flow of viewings with feedback to each viewing almost immediately. Our house beautiful as it was sat directly on a very busy road which made the sales process slightly more challenging. The team, Tom, Dan, George and Toni managed the expectations of viewings ahead of their visits so people were happy to live at such close proximity to the road which made sure their were no surprises, nor time wasters. We sold the house after only 2 months of Platform being instructed after other agents far less proactivity. Much cheaper on the fees too! Honestly, using Platform is a win, win situation all round. Can't speak highly enough of these guys. Best ever.
