I joined Play Netball last year and…
I joined Play Netball last year and until then I hadn't played for about 7 years since school. I have met some great people and have really enjoyed getting back into netball. The umpires are great and give advice throughout the game. Would recommend to anyone looking to start netball again!

Great Fun

Join- you won’t regret it!
Joined when the Swindon league first started after always enjoying netball at school but not playing for a few years! It is so much fun and great exercise. Everybody is so lovely and I really enjoy the social side of it too! You are provided with bibs and equipment and good quality umpires! You can join with a friend or on your own where you will be placed in a team with other ladies.

Play netball is great opportunity to get back into a sport you may have once loved, or even to start up a new passion. They provide back to netball excellence and offer support and advice on what is best for you. I am so pleased I contacted them 2 years ago as now I am still playing a sport that I love. But it has also given me the opportunity to be more social and make friends for life who share the same passion as I do.

I hadn’t play netball for over 20…
I hadn’t play netball for over 20 years. I wanted something fun to do with friends and due to the lack of free time, I wanted to get fit at the same time if possible. I saw a post for play netball and emailed them with some queries. They were extremely helpful and I signed my team up. That was over a year ago and my team still meet up to play every Monday. Everyone that takes part at the Lincoln league are so friendly, especially the umpires.
It’s a good way to get fit, see your friends and make new friends too.

Great Fun

Great way to keep fit and meet new people
Play netball is such a fun experience and a great idea to mix with new people without any previous experience or knowing anyone on the teams.
However the pay system could be worked on. There doesn't seem to be a clear way to determine how much each team have paid and what people owe.

We have recently signed up for a brand new system that we will be rolling out to all leagues very soon that will make payments very clear and it is easy to check how much your team has paid and has left to pay each season.
