This company is underhanded. When you follow their instructions to cancel your account online, the website page does not work properly to get that done. They Grey out the DELETE Button. Fact.

In addition to the designs often being full of errors, the pv3 option usually only gives one design. The FB group has no help available. They just say "email support". Support doesn't respond. Why... See more

Plagiarism Machine

I came across a series of 10 images on PlaygroundAI so similar to one of my paintings that they even showed up when I used Google's reverse image search for my original artwork. The AI had obviously been fed with my painting and had been instructed to remove "watermarks and signatures". PlaygroundAI completely ignored my initial DMCA takedown request and only took down the images after 4 (!) more messages. That was roughly two months after the first complaint and just after I had contacted my lawyer. These people do not care about legality. Don't support them!

Seriously gone downhill recently

In the beginning it was amazing quality, great creations. As time has gone on the quality of the site, the features and the ai generated images has gone seriously downhill. Its now an absolute shambles with very badly generated pictures.

Did not understand words in the…Terrible Company

Did not understand words in the prompts. The pictures were nothing special. Downloaded some then found it that they had not downloaded! And you can only have free generations of 10 per MONTH. Waste of time. But they have my pictures and I do not.

I had a paying subcription

I had a paying subcription, and had fun with simple prompts giving very nice images. But almost everytime I had a specific idea in mind, the a.i. wasn't understanding a thing. Then, I asked for help and the first time I had some. I still needed a lot of work (even giving the a.i. an image of the exact shape i wanted) to make something remotely satisfying. The next time I hit a wall and after I poured hours into it without results, I asked for help. I was dismissed, saying that they couldn't help for specific prompts. I was asked to make print screen for information I already given in my original request. And I was told to search for help on Discord. So no help at all (not even politely). So much for the help advertised with the plan, at that time (02/2024).

... and I agree with the privacy and censorship issues mentionned in other ratings.

No privacy using your personal gmail

i like the interface and the way they have made it easy to create images. The cons are no privacy, you have to use your gmail so your identity is revealed. You can use a gmail that doesnt reveal your identity but once you have signed up and paid and created a history you cannot change it. The only alternative is to cancel, lose all your history and sign up again.

PG-13 Site On Google's Short Leash

Overall, I like the quality of images and the free plan options. What I don't like is their strict filters on words like, for example, "sexy", or "erotic". I am not at the site to generate porn, but I do get really flustered with their PG-13 morality.

But I think I have a big issue as well with the only signup, login option being Google. I feel that is down right... sinister.

I am truly hoping nowai.ai returns from the dead, so I can jump ship here.

NO PRIVACY

The website clearly states that EACH image you generate is private. While in reality, it is instantly published on the platform, anyone can copy your image and replicate any version of it for personal and business purposes. No matter if you have a paid plan or use the free option. If you create images for businesses or intend to keep them private, this is not the place to be. An image created with the intent to be sold or used commercially must be exclusive and not so easily replicated. You will end up spending a lot of hours perfecting an image that anyone can replicate and disseminate on the internet, making it impossible to sell it.
