Playlist Push – A Completely Misaligned and Frustrating Experience

I’ve used Playlist Push twice now, and both experiences were huge disappointments. The first time was for their TikTok service. My music is techno, yet they sent it to creators posting completely irrelevant content furniture promos, clothing hauls, and even random family videos of people eating pasta with their kids. None of it matched my genre, my aesthetic, or my intended audience. It made absolutely no sense.

Recently, I decided to give Playlist Push another chance, this time using their playlist promotion service. I selected my genres carefully and chose techno, but once again the targeting was completely off.
My track was sent to curators posting music like Wiz Khalifa or Ibiza Sunset Tech House genres that have nothing to do with what I submitted. It’s just wrong on every level.

Overall, the service feels like an absolute waste of money. I wouldn’t call it a scam, but the targeting is so poorly executed that it might as well be. And if things go wrong, they won’t refund you. They only offer credit, which just forces you into another round of the same failed experience.

The only spotify playlist promotion worth using

The only spotify playlist promotion worth using. The negatives are they are expensive and a lot of the playlists are not very active. The postive is that they can get you on really good playlists if your music is good enough. I have used them a lot over the last 5 years and they have for some tracks got me amazing results.

If I were you guys I would not use this…

If I were you guys I would not use this service. I set up a campaign with my artists song and they said it would start in 2 days. I paid $300 and when I went back in to check the campaign it said “campaign will start in 12 months”. They took my money and EXTENDED MY CAMPAIGN TO START IN A YEAR!” Definitely scammed me. I won’t be issuing again. Be aware when you use this service they take your money.

Although many say there are no bots

Although many say there are no bots, there is always a fear in the back of your mind, that it could be untrue with anyone that is used for this type of service. But I have never had that concern with Playlist Push.

300k MONTHLY LISTENERS!

Playlist Push increased our monthly listeners by hundreds of thousands on Spotify. The results translated over to other streaming platforms as well. Very few playlists had a major impact, but those few truly were MAJOR. 5 stars.

Not a great product or great value

Like many services trying to make a living around generating Spotify streams, Playlist Push promises far more than it actually delivers. It's fair to say that they have a fair few playlist curators on their list who don't know what they are doing or listening to, some who are so small it's pretty pointless being added to their list if you're trying to generate streams. Please be rest assured these comments are not in anger at rejection, we 100% accept that not everyone is going to like what we do, and that's really cool with us. It's when comments are received that are factually wrong that gets us annoyed.

We did have one add to a playlist which generated huge streams (this caused this single promotion to break even). Streams are great but don't necessarily generate long term listeners and rarely financially break even.

So to sum up Playlist Push:

Pros:
Playlist adds were forthcoming
Easy to use interface
You can hit big on streams if you are exceptionally lucky
Appear to be "Bot Free"

Cons:
Extremely poor value for money
Many of the "curators" are musically ignorant
Some curators are so small you'd be better off forming your own playlist and promoting it yourself!
Some playlist adds came from countries which are not popular with Spotify, and can affect how the legendary Spotify algorithm reacts with your music.

I'm very unlikely to be using them again.
