Really Friendly and reliable Plumbers

Plumb Squad were really helpful when I had multiple issues with my pipes and radiators. What i really like is that they fixed it very quickly and didn't try to 'pretend it's a big job' and stay an extra hour longer to earn more.

I've also signed up to their monthly plumb care which I strongly recommend

Happy customer

I was having hot water issues at my property for around a month with failed diagnostics from other companies, Plumb-Squad managed to come and diagnose my issue straight away and got my hot water working again.

Extremely happy with the overall service provided by the team, highly recommended!

Unprofessional and Unorganised

Did not turn up on two separate occasions with no communication. The company owner (Tom) seems to think it is acceptable to send rude WhatsApp messages instead of answering the phone. I would not recommend, very unprofessional and unorganised.

Highly professional and thorough

Job was a mystery overflow issue. Highly professional and thorough. Found the source of the leak and resolved it, with a clear explanation of the issues leading to it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and will use again, in fact I took out the maintenance contract as it would be good to know that this quality of work could be done even in an emergency.

Good service

We had new radiators fitted and a leaky toilet fixed. Both jobs were carried out professionally and within the times stated. The guys were friendly and polite, arrived early, worked around us, cleared up and hoovered afterwards. A competitive price and a call the next day to see if we were happy was appreciated. We will definitely use them again and will recommend to friends.

Customer Service Rectified

Phoned Plumb Squad on Sunday 14th May 2017 with regard to a leak in garden tank connection. I was told the cost would be £70 an hour with no call-out charge, which seemed good value and I accepted.

Tom Carroll arrived later than first estimated and was able to resolve the issue swiftly. Although working less than 15 minutes, he insisted the bill was £100 as it was Sunday. Given that the quote had been £70 a few hours earlier, and I'd provided the washer to save time walking back to van, I felt aggrieved that the original quote was not adhered to. He said the work was guaranteed for a year.

A few weeks later the connector came off the tank. I rang Tom who true to his word sent George round the following day. George appears to have done a thorough job so hopefully now there will be no more problems.

Feeling that I have been taken for a ride.

I I had to call Plumb Squad on Saturday to locate water leaks from my flat to the flat below. It was an emergency.

Their chap Thomas Carroll came. He looked under the bath and declared that the area is dried. In less than 5 minutes, he declared by pointing the shower hose at the glass screen that the leaks were from one gap between the shower glass screen and the bath. I questioned why so much water could be coming from the "defective" shower screen and asked if he could spend more time to investigate. He said that there was no point as the leak was clearly coming from the shower screen. At no point he attempted to isolate the various tapes and drains to investigate the source of the leaks.

I installed a temporary shower curtain over the glass screen. That area was therefore totally water tight. The next morning, a very angry neighbour called to say water is still coming to his flat. I called Plumb Squad again and Thomas answered that he was busy on Sunday but WILL return on Monday. I texted Thomas Carroll to ask what time he intended on coming. Needless to say, I received no reply and also he failed to show up. To cut a long story short, I had to ask another plumbing firm to investigate and locate the leak. The new firm located and fixed the leak as coming from behind the shower control unit. The new plumber remarked that he failed to understand why Plumb Squad was not able to locate the leak and also the amount of water going down to my neighbour could not have come from a gap between the shower screen and the bath.
