Started off well as they got us a bathroom suite quickly. When it was delivered not all the individual boxes were listed on the delivery note so they weren’t checked. A box was missing we noticed a few days later when the plumber went to fit it. Plumbase said that as we had signed for it it must have been delivered. We had to pay to replace it. When the plumber was fitting it the bathroom he noticed a small manufacturing defect in the gloss top of the toilet into (the 2nd one we paid for) and deep scratches in the tap. We knew we would have had to wait for a replacement but were desperate for the bathroom so asked them to fit and we would contact Plumbase and send them the damage photos. Plumbase will not replace them and have said that yet again we’ve got to pay.

Your employee Richard Parden is a dog abuser…

He is a neighbour who continually shouts verbal (and no doubt gives physical abuse) to his dog on a daily basis.

If that’s what Plumbase employees are like then I dread to think what this business is like either!

My Myson towel warmer (the 'Angara' model) broke it's wall brackets and I were given a major run-around by Myson's parent company (Purmo) who recommended various plumbing and building suppliers none of whom could be bothered to respond.
The exception was the assistant manager at your Ashton, Winterstoke Road branch who went out of his way to help. Despite supplying multiple photographs and descriptions, the component kit recommended by Purmo Group UK was incorrect, as was the second ordered sample when we suspected that a picking error must have occurred.
In the end your excellent and very personable assistant manager (Mr A.B) was unable to source the right parts for me. Nevertheless, he was the only person who bothered to help at all and I am extremely impressed and grateful for his efforts.
I made my own brackets in the end but I would head straight to your store for future needs.

A big thank you to Trevor at the Birtley branch, who took the time to source and then order an exact replacement for my Geberit toilet fixture. I'd give the lads six stars if I could!

Really helpful, friendly team at Plumbase limehouse. Went over and above to help me source a bathroom radiator that caused me a headache because it had so many requirements and stipulations. Nothing too much trouble for them and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Genuine company, would recommend - especially for first time home owners who may not know much about diy/home improvements or prices. Their prices are fair, and you are not being taken advantage of. Thank you and big thank you to Adam for your help!

Recently used Plumbase Crawley branch, found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Old fashioned excellent service, will definitely be using them in the future.

Not a plumber but sent by one to get him parts on 27/07/21. Wasn't really sure what was required. The guy at the counter could not have been more helpful . Actually corrected what the plumber told me to get. everything fitted fine

Spoke on the phone with an extremely rude Australian bloke who sounded like I had just punched his mother. He hung up when I tried to put him through to a colleague. He then called me back, I asked him if there was anything else I could do for him to which he replied no with a sarcastic "thanks for the help" followed by inaudible muttering and him slamming down the phone.

I ordered a frameless shower door which was great, however the delivery to a small area in Cornwall was prohibitive at £114.97 whilst 7 miles away it was £54.97. The Isles of Scilly was only £54.97 so the goods had to be delivered anyway to my area, so none of it made sense. I pointed this out in an email as a mistake had been made but they didn’t respond!! I give customer service 0 but the door a 5. My advice is, if you want to trust this firm at all after all the poor reviews, go for a free delivery offer.

I bought a pump for my home. It didn't fit my needs so I got in touch with Plumbase to return it within the 14-day period. Customer care told me not to write on the package and send it back for a refund. I followed their instructions. When they received the package, they said it wasn't properly packaged and they would not be able to refund my money. They complained the package of the product should not have been closed with a brown tape, and because of the brown tape the product cannot be resold! But they had not instructed me not to use tape to close the box, they said I shouldn't write on the box... They simply refused to refund me! The product itself was perfect, it was never even installed. I'm pretty sure this is against the law in the UK, but I won't hire a solicitor, spend a fortune, and only get my money back in 3 years... so my advice to you is: STAY AWAY FROM PLUMBASE! Or make absolute sure you never need to return a product.

I used their online store to buy a 3Bar Pressure Relief Valve for my boiler. On the website, they advertise a bran new original copper part. Once delivered I received a cheap plastic part which I could get elsewhere for a 3rd of the cost. Customer service doesn't see anything wrong with it. Beware, some of their products are simply a clickbait.

I spent over £4000 on bathroom fittings at Nottingham store. One small part is defective and leaks but Ian the showroom manager says I must take a video of this for the manufacturer to decide if they would do anything. I told him I had bought from Plumbase not the manufacturer. I am writing to CEO at Plumbase to try and resolve. If that does not work I will start legal proceedings.

I visited plum base Yeovil this morning looking for an obscure economy 7 direct vented cylinder and although one did not appear on their computer Wayne and the team searched the warehouse and found one in a dusty corner that would work . Thanks Wayne you have got me out of a major hole just before Xmas you are a legend full respect to you and your team.

My husband decided to rip the bathroom out no plan,so we went to Plumbase at Nottingham. Can't praise Sonia and Ian they where brilliant sorted us out,any problems we had couldn't do enough to help. Definitely recommend them

Went to the branch at Great Yarmouth, sales assistance was full of male banter, although trying to be helpful did not come up with a solution or alternative products, sent away with the wrong product to get rid of me. More interested in chatting about online gaming with a customer . Took the item back, he then complained about how it had been opened and that he had to resell it. Being a female receiving arduous male banter, within the store made me carry out my own research, a complete novice to plumbing and resolved the issue myself very successfully

I purchased a Manor House Painted Anthracite kitchen from Plumbase Lenton Nottingham in 2017. It was fitted in October 2017. I started to notice problems around the floor areas as the veneer was blistering and the paint coming away on floor level. It turns out the fitter did not seal this? I was not aware that this should have happened. The Store manager told me that I should have instructed the fitter??The same thing is happening on a number of doors with the paintwork blistering and coming away. This is a dark grey kitchen and it has many white areas appearing all over the place. So upset as this was my first expense kitchen and I have looked after this so well. I do not believe the material used to cover the doors is water resistance even though taking into account that the fitter should have sealed it on ground level. I would warn anyone considering buying this brand of kitchen to stay well clear. As for the customer service I am getting from the branch, it is terrible, ill-informed and very unprofessional. They say they cannot visit my home. Citizens advice bureau say they can and the virus should not be a excuse. I was informed that they will no longer be selling kitchens?
