Had a guy called Dan come around today and fit a new toilet and sink. Lovely guy, it all happened on the same day, no time wasted.

DO NOT USE - called emergency plumbing service due to our macerator toilet being broken and overflowing. Was quoted £100 call out charge then cost of repairs in addition to this. Plumber came around said the toilet was broken (which we knew and had already told him), that it needed replacing and that it would cost £2000. I told him I wouldn't go ahead with this I just wanted the toilet to stop overflowing at the back. He then charged me £200. £100 for the call out charge which I understand but then another £100 to tell me the toilet was broken (which I knew) and that I needed £2000 to replace the toilet which was completely wrong as my plumber came to repair the toilet for £50 four days later by simply removing a wipe that had been flushed in the toilet and blocked the mechanism. Thank god I didn't part with £2000 to replace the toilet !
Feel I've been done. An associate of Ricky came out and told us we need a new valve. 10 minutes then charged the £80 call out fee but tried to take an extra £50 for the diagnosis. Total rip off
24H Emergency Plumber. 101 Kenton Road Newcastle upon Tyne. Yet another alias. They charged me £550 to replace a bathroom basin lever tap, which does not work. Will not supply me with a legitimate invoice for services. They advertise boiler repairs but are not Gas Safe registered. Ricky Marken is a chancer steer well clear. Nice car Ricky black mercedes coupe with personalised plates gained by ripping off customers.
