Got charged for giftcard but never received it.
I tried to order a gift card within the plutus app. I got charged €4 fees (which is a bit excessive, but for a €10 gift card it's still a good deal).
However, the gift card creation remains in state "created", for over a month now.
Plutus support is uncapable or unwilling to help/fix this issue or refund the order. It's only €4 but for some reason that's too much for them to compensate.
This is of course a red flag - a payment system that takes your money and doesn't deliver and then hides behind the development team. Better stay away from this - it's either financially or technically (or both) not to be trusted.

Unfortunate scheme
I'm giving Plutus one star because the ecosystem is fundamentally flawed. They promise features like a DEX that never materialize, and they keep changing the terms, retroactively devaluing the PLU token. The token's value has tanked, and it feels like they're manipulating the system to their benefit, not ours. They also censor any criticism, which is a red flag. The ecosystem is mismanaged and lacks transparency. Stay clear if you value your investments.

Poor support and unacceptable delays
I’ve been a loyal Plutus user, but my recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating. On December 29, 2024, I initiated a swap for 12 EUR, which was supposed to exchange 16 PLU. Instead, 16 PLU were deducted from my wallet, and I never received the 12 EUR. This left me with 0 EUR in my account.
It has now been over a week since I reported this issue (ticket #328283), and Plutus has yet to provide a resolution or even a concrete timeline. Despite multiple follow-ups and sharing all the necessary details, including screenshots, the only responses I’ve received are vague updates saying the developers are “investigating.”
What’s even more disappointing is how slow and unresponsive Plutus has been during this critical time. Other financial platforms I use have been far more efficient and communicative, even during the holiday period.
I expect better from a company that handles finances. Issues like these erode trust, and I’ll be reconsidering my relationship with Plutus going forward.
Avoid this service if reliability and customer support are important to you.

I know my way around Crypto but this company is an absolute shambles.
They charge huge fees and lock your money in behind ridiculous made up rules.

Plutus: A 🚨SCAM🚨 Project That Disappoints Its Users
Plutus has once again demonstrated why it’s increasingly regarded as unreliable. The project initially promised users a straightforward offer: one €10/£10 gift card for every 1 PLU token. However, the reality was far different. Users ended up being charged an additional €8/£8 in service fees, effectively devaluing the offer.
They also marketed "free withdrawals" for stackers as a key benefit. But what did users actually get? Withdrawal fees exceeding 33%! The withdrawal process itself is unreasonably long, taking two months to complete. This delay seems deliberately designed to force users into maintaining their subscription for those two months, as any lapse leads to declined withdrawals.
Customer support is another letdown, offering generic, copy-paste responses that fail to address specific issues or concerns.
Even if you successfully withdraw, continuing with Plutus introduces further frustrations. Selling your PLU tokens is apparently against their rules, putting users at risk of account bans. Worse yet, they appear to operate in a covert manner: some users report that Plutus allows them to continue using the service, only to later claim rule violations during the next withdrawal attempt. This effectively allows them to seize funds without clear communication or justification.
Plutus also silences dissent on its social media platforms. Discussions or critiques, even if respectful, are quickly censored. For example, a simple statement like, "As long as it hasn’t happened, it’s not true—prove me wrong," has resulted in permanent ban. Even neutral or skeptical comments are forbidden unless they explicitly praise the project, creating an echo chamber of false positivity.
In summary, Plutus appears to rely on deceptive practices, hidden fees, and arbitrary rules to exploit users while suppressing criticism. Their promises of benefits for stackers and users are misleading, their customer service is ineffective, and their social platforms are tightly controlled to avoid accountability. Proceed with extreme caution if considering this platform—many have learned the hard way.

The full service is a scam!
It has been a good experience at the beginning, until it turned out to be a scam.
No possibility to withdraw PLU for more than a year.
Continuous upgrades with promises of more convenient services. As a result, all the offers use the same click-bite approach that promote more and more rewards, until they do not allow you to claim what they promised.
There is no perk to collect PLU if you are not allow to withdraw, use or exchange.
No transparency in the operations and no trust in the promises.
Be aware that you will not be able to withdraw your PLU!
The justification is the upgrade of the services provided to ensure a better quality service to customers, that will never end!

Plutus - Promising Lying Untrustworthy Thieving Unfair Scam
You don’t need to look any further than the CEO’s tweets to see what’s happening at Plutus right now. The company is in full panic mode, and their leadership has resorted to blaming customers for “playing the system” they created. That alone should be a huge red flag, but let me break down my experience over the past three years to give you a clearer picture.
Plutus was originally marketed as a cashback platform where you’d earn PLU tokens, which could realistically only be sold for fiat. That was the entire point. Then they realized this wasn’t sustainable, but instead of making clear adjustments, they delayed, misled users, and let the problem snowball. Now, after years of avoiding responsibility, Plutus has flipped the script completely.
Overnight, selling PLU became a crime. Users were suddenly labeled as “unproductive” and “violators,” while PLU was magically rebranded as a “utility token.” For years, PLU had no actual utility, so this switch was not only unplanned but also forced onto users without warning. They’ve now resorted to extortion, forcing users to buy more PLU to keep account access or avoid ridiculous fees. Those who don’t comply are punished and blamed for everything wrong with the platform.
And the “utility” they’re now offering? Gift cards with fees so high they reach 90% after a few uses, miles that most users don’t care about, and a swap feature that takes half the value of your PLU as a fee. These features aren’t even available to all users. They’re being rolled out in limited batches while Plutus bombards users with emails asking them to upgrade or buy more PLU to gain access.
On top of all this, the CEO has been insulting users, censoring discussions on social media, and alienating even loyal ambassadors and moderators. The Discord server and Reddit are practically dead zones, with anyone who criticizes the company getting banned.
No one who bought PLU, held onto it, and trusted this platform has come out ahead. The only users who might’ve broken even are those who sold PLU when it still had value. Ironically, these are the exact people Plutus now scapegoats as the reason for its failures.
At this point, it’s clear Plutus is failing as a company. They are scrambling to change their entire model while exploiting what remains of their user base with outrageous fees and manipulative tactics. If you’re thinking about using Plutus, don’t. This company has been a nightmare to deal with, and it’s a perfect example of what happens when leadership is completely out of touch and refuses to take accountability.

Plutus began as a promising company…
Plutus began as a promising company with unique offerings. Over the past 2 years they have made multiple u-turns with their business plans, which have changed direction every couple of months. This has left users utterly confused and losing all trust. Plutus has reached new lows with censoring all criticism on their social media channels, actively insulting their customers, illegally retroactively applying unfair terms and conditions, not fulfilling the service purchased through subscription, withholding customers earned funds. Many users like myself are now in the process of taking the company to court. Please do not use this company, it is a dangerous scam.

plutus needs to keep up with their promises
I was flagged as a potential violator of the terms of service due to frequent crypto withdrawals.
In November, I was informed via email that my account functions would be reinstated this month. However, I still do not have access to the Swap feature.
The email stated:
“Account Access Restored
Your payout requests are reinstated, and as a goodwill gesture, your PLU audits are being fast-tracked to provide faster access to PlutusSwap and other utilities next month. No need for third-party payout; get real value in-app.”
Additionally, I was told that all eligible users would regain access to Swap functions by now. Despite this, it appears I am still not considered eligible unless I receive further communication.
Responding on their comment below. I already had a ticket. However, upon asking why my reinstated access has been not processed, I received the response that I am still under investigation like I did a criminal offence. This is not how you treat paying customers.

Absolute scam and the CEO blocks you if you call him out on it on X. So much promise but the company is a Ponzi scheme. Do not invest or go near this. The fees charged on all gift cards are extortion and airmiles offered can be purchased direct with the supplier cheaper, cashback on hotels is also better on more established sites. Jack of all trades and master of none. Been paying subs for over 3 years and the CEO treats you like you mean nothing to the community as he is unwilling to engage in dialogue. Such a shame as it had a lot of hope but please do not waste your time and money. PLUTUS asked me to remove some sentences which I obliged.

A classic bait and switch
This initially seemed like a promising offering in the cryptocurrency space. Marketed as a cashback card rewarding users with PLU tokens, it has since implemented new, retroactive rules that make withdrawing earned PLU difficult and costly.
This is a classic bait-and-switch tactic. The current offerings aren't worth the associated costs. I strongly advise against using this service. The value of PLU is rapidly declining, and the terms keep changing.
I successfully withdrew my remaining PLU weeks ago, but the process took two weeks. I've written off the remaining 30+ PLU and canceled my subscription.

Don’t apply for a plutus card, they will ask for all your life details from your birth to these days, to be able to create an account. That is not KYC registration, that is a complete biography or your life they ask for. Be prepare to be asked your underwear color and to give them a blood test and urine test. Poor service. I set up 3 other crypto cards in less than 2 minutes only with KYC informations. Don’t waste your time with them.

If you really feel the need and are taken in by the hype google the below,I have not posted there but can confirm what they say is 100% true You're rewards will be trapped ,you end up having to pay cash in, to get out then be refused (by there countless rules and there are many !!!),even after paying 33% fee!!! in cash.Oh and the cash paid in cannot be paid back to your Bank, so you will have to use the card to spend you.re fee money.I have walked away in loss as i felt like a Hostage.This is not what crypto is about .I have been a subscibed member for over 2 years and the way they are treating their customers is bad,very Bad,you,ve been warned.Google redditcom r Plutus Uncensored

I have always said it, run from anywhere you hear PLU. When they began, they started out as being very great but in recent times, the service has been nothing to write home about. Ranging from failed withdrawals, to lagging website. The experience is no more enjoyable for me. There are good companies out there like S.U.N. I would be closing my account here and never coming back again

I am doing one more review in response to the last Plutus.it response to the TrustPilot review of mine.
Plutus - has tried to censor my review before that one, by trying to have me eliminate names, such as the "CEO" name. In their response, they included the CEO name, which was supposedly a "private information", so they tried to use that to counter me with the TrustPilot ToS, which seems contradictive now with their response, if it was too bad to be public.
They mention that Danial has been public in the crypto sector since 2012, addressing industry challenges and safeguarding their platform.
However, as we know now, Plutus is no longer "crypto", considering they have tried so hard to restric their users to the app, by not allowing them to withdraw, they advertised something and changed with retroactive ToS changes. Many people lost a lot of money, as Plutus pretty much does "promotions" to make people "buy PLU" in the open market, "crypto" yes, despite them not wanting to promote such kinda, but they seem to contradict themselves all over.
And the last problem, they ask me to block or unfollow the CEO, the problem is, when someone already made too much harm to the users & people in general, such as, whether with "way too extensive fees" or changing the rules of the product and so on, I start more of a investigation and I rather fight a "scam" which is what Plutus has turned into, if it wasn't a "scam" since the beginning, the type of "we give you something in the beginning, to make as many come in, but then we start taking it away in order to not let you withdraw and vice versa", it's important to mention they mention PLU Payouts are enabled, although, they take a long time to pay and many times they don't pay it at all and they ask for FIAT, a big percentage based on the withdrawal and then the user just waits in a loop.
So no, Plutus, we are here to fight a "scam" even if you try to silence us by banning accounts, suspending them or bashing, humiliating and throwing people down on social media, as you've been doing on X, Discord, etc.
