Failed to Deliver Value
What started off as a promising company has dwindled away into an underwhelming product.
It goes back years, plans are published and slowly walked back. This has happened multiple times.
It's hard to actually get value out of the product unless you invest, which comes at a significant risk as value of that investment could go down (e.g. from $10->30c).
I would strongly recommend against investing anything in this company.
The next scam project in crypto
I was 2 years a customer. Now the company is close to dead. Nobody is interested doing something at support. They still take my money, i already cancelled months ago. They started by themselves the plan. How rude is that? The next scamming platform in crypto since the new CEO. DONT subscribe!!!!! You will waste lot of your time for nothing.
Stay away at all cost
Plutus advertises a 'trial period', but don’t fall for it — as soon as it ends, they charge you automatically, and there’s no option to cancel the subscription or remove your credit card (you have to contact the support and hope they answer you in time). This is nothing but a modern subscription trap disguised as fintech.
The whole reward/points system is a mess. It’s constantly being changed, completely non-transparent, and offers barely any real value. Every update just makes things worse for users and makes you pay more money without offering any real benefit.
Their “PLUS” balance is an even bigger joke:
- Withdrawing it as real money costs huge fees, and is locked behind even more paid tiers and features.
- Instead, you’re pushed towards overpriced gift cards, useless air miles, or random rewards nobody actually needs.
- A simple, fair cash-out? Doesn’t exist! But hey — you can swap your PLUS for a crypto token that doesn’t even exist yet… and of course, you have to pay a hefty fee for that.
And their own crypto token — super unstable, constantly loosing in value, and of course all the risk is on the user while Plutus keeps profiting quietly with real Money in the background.
Customer friendly? Transparent? Trustworthy? Absolutely not!!! Plutus feels like a platform built on hidden fees, manipulation, and empty promises.
My advice: Save your time, money and nerves — stay far away from Plutus.
Newest scam - trial period is an upgrade to new subscription
Newest scam: You get a "trial"-period and some free PLUs to instant cashout for free they say. You get upgraded automatically and they will continue to charge your credit card you have used previously.
Luckily for me, I put their own crap card as payment method up there. Good luck charging that.
The "free" PLUs were never transfered by the way.

Terrible company I canceled my subscription and they were still trying to take funds out of my account and they won’t give up they keep trying to charge me luckily I used a repaid card and closed the account down because of these scammers stay away

This company are genuine scammers and continually operate illegal or unethical business practices such as automatic renewal to closed accounts without any option to opt out other than a long winded dispute process after the fact.
They lie at every opportunity, mislead and have continually passed up on every opportunity to build trust with their members.
I have given them chance after chance only to be disappointed.
I must have have thought “Surely they can’t do it again” or “They will learn from the community feedback this time” or “They must not have realised” countless times but enough is enough. It’s time to call it what it is - this is an outright scam. Avoid! For your own sake, Christ.
Scammy project, desperate cash grab
Plutus subscribed me to a 3-day "free trial" of a paid plan that I didn't request. No way to cancel in the app. Opt-out is through the support ticket that's probably going to take weeks for them to respond to. Tried charging my card for a subscription I didn't opt-in to. Is this even legal. Closing my account asap.
Absolute rubbish
What started as a good idea and well-made product has just been getting worse. The increasing number of negative reviews says it all.
When your card expires, there’s no automatic replacement and no clear reminder — unless it’s buried among countless spam emails about new “features” that don’t work properly. You only find out when payments start failing, including your subscription.
No subscription means no app, no working card, and you can forget about any earned cashback. It’s a shame to see how something that began with so much promise has turned into such a frustrating experience.
I absolutely love the Plutus and its benefits…
I absolutely love the Plutus card and its benefits. From perks of my favorite brands like Lidl, Vodafone, Pingo Doce, Continente, Auchan, X, TradingView , and also gift card cashbacks of up to 10%, to regular Amazon purchases. Additionally, the CRY allows you to earn daily 'staking rewards' with a yummy APY that we shouldn't discuss too much to avoid compliance issues. I'm in it for the ' tech ' and, most importantly, for the money and the future of blockchain in my everyday purchases. Thanks, keep up the good work! Lets stake PLU and earn lots of +PLUS to spend on more and more benefits form usual day life normal purchases (and even btc cards for dca ease every month)!

Plutus is a Ponzi scheme. Stay away from this scam project. They are always changing their policy, and the cashback is worth nothing.
It's just a scam
I deposited too much money into my plutus account. I then found out that, they have changed the policy on transferring money out of your plutus account. You can't do it anymore, you can't even send it to a friend on PayPal. The only way you can do it, is if you close your account. This was a big problem as I have bills to pay. I had to close my account and loose all my plus.
This wasn't the only reason for cancelling, they had once again changed the arrangement, we had been moved from earning plu to plus recently. But now they had new features you could only access if you moved up to a new stacking level. Obviously this gets more expensive the higher you are already stacked. In my case I had to buy a few thousand plu. Whereas newbies only had to stack 1 plu. Plu has done nothing but decline in value, so why would I buy more? It also looked like they'd given up on plu and we're offloading it in favour of the new plus.
To top it all, in all of plutus's official forums, telegram, discord etc.. it's a instant ban if you talk about the decline in plu value. Which is hilarious as it's a key point to the business. I was banned on X for 2 posts. One was telling them I wasn't happy about a large scale outage on purchases for the 2nd time and the other was agreeing that they were fleecing long term supporters with the new business budget benefiting new customers only.
They're clearly getting a lot of bad pressure and are trying to block people from having a voice. There latest attempt is to get customers to write good comments about then for rewards which maybe illegal?
The final one was, I had a refund that went back into my plutus card after it had been closed for a few weeks. They never got in touch with me, I had to request it and it took them week over a month to sort out. This was after my nagging them a lot.
Used plutus from the beginning
Used plutus from the beginning. Was paying for the sub for the cashback. They dont assist or care about you and plu is pointless because in the end you will feel like an idiot of losing everything. I havent been using plutus for a year now and its the best choice i did. Even revolut has better perks. The company is also dodgy and they keep changing their terms. Do your own research before you sign up with them

The whole sign up process seems flawed - once you've entered details, it forces you to enter card details for their paid plan (+ trial) no skip. Once that's done, it gets stuck on "Subscription in Progress", even if app restarted. Good luck getting new customers. I'm out.

Exciting innovative product with great perks for Plutus cardholders. Roadmap for the product has been well communicated and expectations managed. Product is now mature and ready to be rolled out to other countries; including US.
Used to be good. Not anymore.
As a customer for several years It was really good at first. You earned PLU on every purchase, and if you wanted to progress your reward level a bit faster you could even buy some extra PLU directly in the app. Plans were easy, rewards made sense. After several years of both earning and buying additional PLU (Never made a withdrawal, as I saved for a rainy day). Too many changes and the price started plummeting. All the PLU I had accumulated and bought over several years was now basically worthless and I was thousands in the red, despite high % cashback and Perks & Metal Benefits. Plutus in it's current form is not good. There are much better options out there. I'll eat my loss.
