DO NOT USE.

The pre-action protocol letter that was drafted had the incorrect legal entity named for the defendant, meaning that the proceedings would have been invalid if we had reached court. I had to redraft the letter.

Emails go unanswered for weeks and nobody answers the phone. I have to send weekly chaser emails just to get a response. There is a complete lack of customer service and respect for clients.

Once I do manage to get a response and understand the current status, I will be taking on the case myself. Unbelievably, I seem to know more about the law than they do.

What an amazing service provided, throughout my full recovery period pm law assisted me in so many aspects making sure I was back on my feet and got the best outcome in relation to my claim making sure I got every penny for the injuries I sustained. Would highly recommend there professional services to anyone and would use the again my self on the future where needed, thank again pm law for the outstanding service

I was kept informed at every stage of the case. Everything was explained so that I could make informed choices. A very professional company, I felt reassured and confident throughout the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use again myself if needed in the future .

They didn't make any contact until I cslled them for an update after 8 weeks of waiting. Surprisingly they were dealing with the file but didn't have any of our documents so everything had to be re submitted. They wasted so much time where i had to call estate agents and explain the situation as seller was getting fustrated. I was so close to going to another solicitors but unfortunately we had very little time left on the mortgage offer and with xmas holidays coming up we were advised to stay by estate agents. This company is no where near professional, made us feel like we were in the wrong and made the whole property buying process really stressful. Upon completion I was more relieved that I had finished with this company!
Never again even if they were the last on earth, wouldn't recommend or go to them for anything. Avoid.

We used two companies within PM Property Lawyers to move house. The first company, Deborah Hoban Ltd, held our file for over two months before closing down. The second company, Valerie Holmes Law Limited, then took over. From the sale of our house to moving into our new house it took over six months!

Initially, we were told our house move would be prioritised because the previous two plus months with Deborah Hoban had produced nothing. However, a further four plus months with Valerie Holmes was nothing but stress on top of the usual house move expectations.

For example, asked several times for documents we had already given them. Told that another document to complete the sale was 'buried on one of the girls desks'

Whenever I called the office for an update I would get different answers that often contradicted what they had said the day before. I ended up discussing the delays with the sale and purchase Estate Agents involved and got more accurate information than Valerie Holmes office had provided.

We were asked on 28th November if we could move on the 1st December! Then was told, 'that's not happening because I've loads of things to do'despite us being six months after confirming the sale of our house. Eventually, we agreed to move on the 15th December but was repeatedly told by Valerie Holmes Law not to book a removal company until the contracts had been exchanged. We got quotes from removal companies, all wanting paying in advance to secure a service, but was waiting for the exchange of contracts. We then had to book a removal company to be ready for the 15th December by taking a risk on losing the removal fees. We received confirmation that the contracts had been exchanged at 16:15hrs on the 14th, the day before!

And to add a cherry onto the dismal service provided, we are still waiting for the remainder of our house sale funds! We were told on the 15th that they would be cleared in our bank today. It is now the 18th and still waiting. We called the office and was told, by one person, 'you might get it today. Soon afterwards an email came through saying, you will get it today. Which one is it?! Again, more misleading and contradictory information. We are currently sat with no fridge freezer, no bed and no washing machine whilst waiting for our money!

04/01/24 - To add further problems and confirmation of this ridiculous service, our bank have now taken both the old and new mortgage payments and stated it was because the Conveyancer at Valerie Holmes Law has not completed the appropriate documentation!

Altogether, my view based on the facts above are that PM Property Lawyers are an appealing representation of a law firm and waste of time and money.

Avoid where possible!

Jennifer helped me navigate through a compromise agreement with my former employer. I have a rental portfolio and have dealt with numerous solicitors in the past, but PM Laws is by far the best I have ever dealt with. They managed to complete the process from A to Z in 25 days. I was fully informed during the process. I didn't have to call them, not even once. The price I paid was also very competitive compared to the rest of the market.
If you need peace of mind, I certainly recommend instructing PM solicitors to put your feet up and let them do what they do best.

I see there are no good reviews about their Wills and Probate Executive, of which comes as no surprise at all (definitely doesn’t deserve one star). In summary, the family had the bad luck of having to work with her & she has certainly left my Mother in a bad state. My Father has recently died & one of his last requests was to add family members to the family home in a simple transfer of equity. She was too inept (still unsure why a qualified Conveyancer wasn’t involved, so hopefully this will be explained upon her investigation) to complete the transfer & told my Mother she would be in a home soon. Words cannot explain how furious the whole family is with her & we’re speaking to The Legal Ombudsman & seeking legal advice to question her ability & qualifications, as she simply shouldn’t be in the role. The most logical & only reason we could come to for her saying such horrific statements to my Mother is she has some hidden issues that she takes out on clients. We have since spoken to a properly qualified solicitor (stark difference) & the transfer can be done within weeks (not the 4 months of Hell the family have had!). Toni has also kept our TR1 signed family document, of which she has no right to keep hold of & we are still owed the £110 upfront payment. My Mother continues to have sleepless nights from her actions. PM Law should sack her before they start getting a bad reputation.

I highly recommend PM Law and especially Lianne who dealt with my case . From the beginning I was kept informed and although the other party dragged their feet and it took quite a while Lianne persisted and obtained a settlement that I feel is very fair .
