Clear communication about service, friendly tone, very helpful all round

Selling and buying a house can be one of the most stressful periods of your life.I can't thank Amy and Ryan enough for being so helpful, friendly and continued communication throughout the process. Didn't matter how many times a day I rang, questions were always answered. Overall I would like to say a huge thankyou to you both for being so helpful, professional and making me feel comfortable, making the process much more stress free. You were amazing.

My personal experience with PM Property Lawyers have been positive, as with communicating with any company contact by telephone and email it can sometimes be a bit slow, but to be honest I find them very helpful, at present they are dealing with a sale and purchase for me, I also used them previously when they sold my previous property. I would recommend PM Property Lawyers.

They couldn't be any worse if they tried. It took them 5 months after instruction to send initial enquiries. The case was passed onto a solicitor outside the firm who was not qualified to work on the transaction. Documents that were signed for were lost, which included personal data on the buyer and seller. Absolutely awful.

Initial pre conveyancing admin process went very smoothly. Mollie, in admin, was really efficient and extremely friendly. Thank you Team Jones!!

We struggled with understanding the questions and paperwork particularly with it all been online. However the admin team were very helpful on explaining what we had to do.

The beginning of the process was dealt with Sofia Sajid who has done amazing and been so speedy with progressing our file. She has been very knowledgeable about everything which is a big help since we are first time buyers! So thank you so much Sofia for everything so far!

Initial post: The team worked quickly and was eager to move it up till now. We are at the stage of applying for searches, so still its long way to go. I will update once the transaction has ended.

This has to be the most unprofessional company ever!
The idiot dealing with the my late father in laws property sale team owen lost numerous important documentation, informing ourselves we had to replace in order for the sale to complete. We are on the second year and its still not reached completion due to this, Read Valance Owen the so called property solicitor does not respond to emails, loses documents and doesn't return calls!!
DO NOT USE THESE FOR YOUR PROPERTY SOLICITORS.. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!!!
No communication with myself or vendor's Solicitors at all. No work done on the file. 30 days lost out of 56 days for one purchase and 14 days lost out of 56 days on the other purchase. Vendor now threatening to pull out of the sale and may lose my auction fee of £6,995 per property. Have had to get a new solicitor and hope they can compete the sales in the time remaining. PM will not refund my file opening fee and now saying they did send me the contract of sale, but no one has had anything and this was only 4 days ago, so what have they been doing. This instruction was via My Home Moving Conveyancing so was not a direct instruction.

NB - I was told it is being investigated internally. Clearly it isn’t.

I have to say - I had a really positive experience with Amy Thompson and her team. They made the whole transaction smooth and straightforward. When Amy says she will ring you back, she always does! Ryan her assistant is also really helpful. There were certain parts of the transaction that were problematic but due to Amy's perseverance and professionalism, it just meant I wasn't stressing about things and Amy was reassuring through the entire process. Thank you so much to you for helping me own my dream home!

I had a thoroughly disappointing experience with this firm of solicitors. From start to finish, the process was a complete shambles. It took five months to complete, incurring over £2,000 in costs. Whenever I called, I was directed to the receptionist, who refused to connect me with the relevant team and instead promised to have them call me back. Unfortunately, this rarely happened, and they would follow up with an email instead.
In addition, they sent the wrong statement to my Help to Buy ISA, which resulted in an additional cost of £166.29. Despite this, they took no responsibility or accountability for their mistake. When I contacted them again, I was met with an unprofessional response from the receptionist, who laughed when I mentioned the financial impact of their errors.
This was the worst service I have ever encountered, and I would strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs.

I really don't understand the negativity and bad reviews that people leave here. This company is one of the few that actually have an app that keeps you updated with the progress of your case, plus staff that actually pick up the phone. Here's my experience with them. We were lucky enough to pick the short straw when purchasing our property as later, almost half way through the case, it was discovered that works were needed before the lender could consider it suitable security, it took weeks and weeks before the works were carried out and it wasn't the seller's, or the lender's or the solicitor's or us as buyers fault, it just happened. It was a bumpy ride and the waiting was painful but all turned out fine by the end. Team Thompson was the best, with Amy and Ryan keeping us up to date with everything, made the wait a bit more tolerable and eventually leading to us getting the keys to the property. Amy and Ryan's professionalism and duty of care are amazing, even when they couldn't reach us by phone we would get a prompt email with the follow-ups or requirements. Big thumbs up to Amy and Ryan, I would recommend them to anyone in heart beat. Thank you team Thompsons, especially Amy and Ryan, keep up the fabulous works that you guys do and ignore the haters, they are just looking to take out their frustrations on someone else and unfortunatelly on this day and age, it's the solicitors😂

Passed to PMPL by My Home Move Conveyancing who I had used 3 times before very successfully.
Similar system and no issues with contacts Isabella and Jacob on the allocated legal team. Good advice given on any queries I had.
Online system not as comprehensive as that used by MHMC but as selling is a simpler matter, not
an issue. Highly recommended and would use again. Have knocked off 1 star as they forgot to pay my selling agents from the sale proceeds. Not a big issue as I spotted it straight away and paid them direct. KIV it was a busy day for them with all the completions ahead of another rise in Stamp Duty.
