SCAM SITE - Run far

Luckily I didn't spend any money here. I'm super careful about that .. but I did sign up for a free account (failing to check Trustpilot first). You cannot delete your account, even though they post instructions if you Google it. In addition you can't properly fill out the form to contact Pngtree, or send a message. SCAM .. run far and fast.

Scam, avoid at all costs. You won't get a thing.

Wow. So they ask you to make an account to download a free image. You do so (luckily I used a burner account to verify), and afterwards, when I go back to the image, I get some Temu-like animation of a wheel of fortune. Okay, don't want that, let me download my image... Oh, it sends me right to the premium account-prices. What a rip-off.

Borderline Scam Tactics

We received a threatening copyright infringement notice from PNGTree demanding we buy their Enterprise Plan to “settle” the issue. No legal documents, no proper cease-and-desist , just scare tactics, vague threats, and even a WhatsApp number.

The image they referenced was actually licensed from Canva Pro, with full commercial rights under our valid subscription. Canva confirmed we did nothing wrong.

This feels like a borderline scam. They're preying on businesses by sending intimidating emails hoping you'll pay out of fear. It’s unprofessional, unethical, and completely unacceptable.

Avoid PNGTree. Their tactics are shady, and their approach to “copyright enforcement” is misleading at best. I wouldn’t trust them with anything.

What a scam after you sign up for $130…

What a scam after you sign up for $130 then you find out that the majority of the good things and clip arts require a $999 membership!

Tried to get a refund within 24 hours and was told no no way. Also every single one that you try to download, you have to download a separate license for believe me not worth your time. I wish I had seen the reviews before I signed up for this total money waste.

Doesn’t even work directly

PNGtree is decent except for the fact that I cannot download images directly now. While there is a “Download” or “Free Download,” as a non-paid (Free) user, it took me to “Authorization” with no clear hint of downloading!

They harass you to buy their plans through threats of Legal action

I received an email from the company regarding unauthorized use of their licensed image, with the threat of legal action against my company unless I sign up for their pro plan at the cost of over $450 dollars for the year. I felt bad using someone's image unauthorised and was happy to comply and brought the proplan. So today I receive another very threatening letter from what they called their so called legal department saying I need to purchase a proplan and if not they will be taking further steps. I am furious after reading the reviews left about this company that they do not even pay their artist and they have the nerve to harass me. Do not fall for their scam.

Like many other reviewers I received an email threatening legal action unless I purchased their plan. I never took an image from their website. So I don't know where they get off.

Just beware of this company.

I paid for a lifetime membership

I paid for a lifetime membership, what a joke, they are still trying to get money out of me, with enterprise memberships or AI tokens what a crock of crap. The membership was not cheap either. I enjoy making custom icons for my desktop, this outfit will constantly nickle and dime you to death. I wish I would have seen this first before I was foolish enough to think this site would be useful STAY AWAY!!!!!

Beware of PNGTREE

PNGTREE sent an email to our (public library system) general email account about a supposed image copyright violation. The email provided two links-- (neither to any of our sites so we didn't click on them) and was threatening legal action for payment owed. When I contacted the company to find out where exactly they claimed we were in violation, they pointed to a social media post from more than a year ago. They threatened to pursue legal action if we did not purchase their Enterprise subscription services. (We do not use their services)
The image was from Canva-- from our PAID account. After some back and forth with PNGTREE and very rude emails from them, they conceded the image in question was sold by the artist to a wide variety of image platforms-- Canva being one of them. They concluded by saying we should purchase all future images from PNGTREE.
While the company itself may be legit, their business practice is far from it. Beware!

Pngtree is a scam website.

Pngtree is a scam website.
They cheat their contributors, and many contributors are highly dissatisfied with the platform.
If you delete your contributor account, they continue selling your files without paying you.
Additionally, they hide official pngtree content deletion submission information document from contributors.

Could not download images

Could not download images. Contacted company and initial but unhelpful responses. Asked for my money back timeously. No reply notwithstanding 3 notices to them. 139$ down the drain?
I would have thought they might have tried to salvage a reputation but seems not.
