Beware! It is a scam company operating from China

I unwittingly signed up for a fake Lifetime Enterprise subscription with this company for $99 on April 17th 2024. Barely a month later on June 11th 2024, I began receiving threatening & extortion emails written in bad English grammar from this company saying that I have infringed on their image copyright by downloading images (Remember: I have a paid subscription with these fools). They offered a remedy for the problem: I should pay additional money to upgrade to their Commercial License subscription. Unfortunately for them, I had never used any material from their website. So I challenged them to produce the infringement or sue me. They did neither. Instead, someone from the company used a different email to write and apologize to me saying that a rogue employee had been the one extorting me. I accepted the apology and thought that was the end of it. But 3 weeks later, I began receiving the exact same poorly-worded extortion emails again. I researched the company and discovered that it is based in China and has a reputation for fraudulent activities. I've filed a case with the FBI cybercrime division against them and sent them a cease/desist letter. Stay away from PNGTree!

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service from PNGTree. I recently purchased a service plan, but despite the payment being processed, I have not received any access to the services promised. This has been a frustrating experience, as I have been trying to contact PNGTree for over ten days without any response.

Their Premium plan and everything you see is a big scam. They lure you in with huge discounts on their website, but once you purchase, you get nothing in return. The lack of customer support and communication is unacceptable. I expected a professional service, but instead, I am left with no service and no answers.

I would not recommend PNGTree to anyone based on my experience. Save your money and look for a more reliable provider.

Scam Company

Scam Company. Stay Away. This company contacted me in an attempt to extort money. They claimed I had used an image in 2022 for which they had the rights. They did not. The rights belonged to Shutterstock and Shutterstock sent me the certification that I had purchased the right for use from them. Low-end foreign fraudulent business. Beware!

I got an email from PNGtree saying "I use images from PNGtree for organizations" even though I never use images from PNGtree for organizations or commercially, and I also never share them publicly, apart from that I suggest to all of you, never make a purchase on pngtree, even if you pay for it you still don't own the image, it's better to move from another site besides pngtree, there are many out there that share similar images for free

NEVER PAY FOR IMAGES ON PNGTREE

Extortion & Misleading

Extortion & Misleading - AVOID this company. They promised Lifetime commercial use. Now, 3 years later, they are sending me threatening emails trying to force me to upgrade. Look at the reviews. There are DOZENS of people saying the same thing. They are NOT a U.S. company.

I bought an UNLIMITED Lifetime plan…

I bought an UNLIMITED Lifetime plan years ago. i use the images for personal projects. Now pngtree is aggressively accusing me of copyright infringement and demanding I upgrade to an enterprise plan immediately. They accuse me of using the images for commercial purposes (I am not). I asked them to show me proof of said use, but they won't. they just sent a list of the things I download, it's a lot, but it's an UNLIMITED plan. They claim I signed up with a company email address so that proves I'm using the account for commercial purposes. I signed up with a company email because it's the only email I use. The membership was paid for with my personal debit card, but that doesn't matter. These people are jerks. don't waste your money. They don't honor their commitments anyway. When I purchased the UNLIMITED lifetime license I could download everything, then that changed and the high-quality stuff is not included in the UNLIMITED lifetime plan I bought. Even though that is a LIMIT on an UNLIMITED plan... They are just trying to get money out of me. They don't value me as a customer because they can't make any more money off me, so now they are sending me threatening emails and making baseless accusations.

Stay away

Stay away! I bought a lifetime subscription 5 years ago with the ability to download whatever I needed. The selection wasn’t great so I rarely used it. Then a year or two ago they developed the enterprise plan and I couldn’t access anything useful so i basically forgot about it. I just got an email citing copyright infringement dating back to my account from 5 years ago and they are trying I extort me for the enterprise plan or they will go after me for copyright infringement. Stay far far far away from this company

SCAM

Bought the lifetime premium license 2 years ago. Used a couple images for personal use. Downloaded others but never used them. Now they email for copyright infringement but will not tell my what images or show any proof. And were not kind when I asked for proof. They said they will pursue legal action if I don't pay for Enterprise subscription (which is quite a bit more than I pay for anything else that I actually do use for work). They are trying to say the account is listed as a Business and not as an Individual. It is all under my personal name, except my email, which I use for both personal and business. This is ridiculous! Do I wait it out or get legal advise?

Pngtree is an awful scammy company

Pngtree is an awful scammy company. Signed up, and now I’m going through the hell that many others are going through with this company. They are extorting the company I work for & now my job is at risk because they are clearly attempting to scam and extort people. I used maybe 20 png files on social media IG reels several months ago and was just notified by my employer that they are trying to extort us and make us pay for copyright infringement. Classic bait and switch.

Legal claims for unauthorised enterprise commercial use

I got a personal account 2.5 years ago and downloaded 4 images to show my wife some ideas for our wedding. These pictures were never used in any works, printed or otherwise yet recently I get an email from them about "Unauthorised Enterprise Commercial Use Of Images" claiming I need to pay up for an enterprise license or face legal/copyright claims against me. Despite the fact they have no evidence to prove these were used for commercial purposes they want to file legal claims against me regardless. This is apparently happening to a lot of people so don't fall for this obvious extortion scam. You are better off using another image provider that won't make wild accusations against you because they are desperate for money.
