A Reliable and Well-Constructed App for Carers
PocketCarer is an excellent app for carers. Its features, such as care planning, recording and invoicing, have made managing work as a carer incredibly easy. Overall.
However, I would like to see some of the app's features expanded. While the app's current features are useful and well-designed, there is certainly room for improvement in terms of functionality. I believe that expanding some of the features could make the app even more valuable to its users.
Despite this, I appreciate the app's user-friendly interface, and its reliability means you can trust it to handle your day-to-day tasks.
I would highly recommend PocketCarer to any carer looking for an easy-to-use app to manage their work. The app's developers are always looking for ways to improve it, so I'm excited to see what new features they will add in the future. Overall, PocketCarer is a fantastic app for carers.
Simple to use and very handy having all…
Simple to use and very handy having all information on one app. Yes, the necessary paperwork and records can be found elsewhere online, but it is so much easier to have it on one app, and saves time switching between apps.
Ideal for someone just starting out as a self-employed carer, as it provides a framework to follow when setting up.
Customer care is excellent, communication while dealing with issues. issues solved within hours when possible and feedback is used when making updates.
Really great app!)
Really great app!)
Quick, easy and has all I need. Just needs to improve the body map feature. There's not a genital nor perianal area.
Care for my Husband
Everything I needed in one place. Easy access via my phone at any time - particularly when I am away from home.
A con
This app can only be used if you go premium and pay a monthly subscription. There is no free, basic model like it suggests

The pocketcarer app is brilliant
The pocketcarer app is everything it says in its title but better than that it's got a brilliant support team! If there's an issue one message and issue is being looked at 24 hours later issue resolved but kept informed all the way along . Its a very straight forward app for the self employed carer with everything in one place ! The cost is fantastic for the product and service you'll get would happily recommend to anyone starting up new or someone looking to change to an app with awesome customer care at the heart !

After commenting on how this app could be improved I received a personal message from Emma on how she was going to rectify the issues I had and that the app was in the process of being updated. This took a day now everything is working well.

So easy to keep upto date as a team
I have been using this app for a few months now, it’s great for keeping everything in one place and saves me so much time. I have recently started working with another carer due to increased demand, the fact that we can create a team and both update client notes on each visit is amazing.
Amazing app
Amazing app, it’s made my job so much easier. Everything is all in one place. I have recommended this app to other carers I know.
Very useful tool
Very useful tool to have to keep client files and records organised.
Pocketcarer is perfect!
Pocketcarer is exactly what I was looking for, having just started my own self employed business. It's simple, but covers a wide variety of client management documentation and saves precious time for the clients rather than flipping through and doing up hand written notes on each visit. It's cost effective; having used apps in the community before as part of an agency, and none of these apps suitable for self employed individuals it's also reasonably priced for all it covers although I wouldn't be suprised (or complain) if the price increased. I'm still navigating my way around it, but it's successfully been used for tge last three days of my care visits and without a hitch too. I will be recommending it, and my clients and their family love the inclusivity of being able to be invited to see the notes.

I’ve just started as a self employed carer and was recommended to try this app. It really does have everything you need, would highly recommend.
very basic
honestly, its so basic, was thinking its something really specialised in care. Invoice forms I can do much better online, calendar apps exist much better. Google is just fine. Its a brilliant idea but somehow very basic.
