This app is a total scam. Plan to spend hundreds of dollars to listen to one story. They give you enough "free" coins to really get into a story then charge an absolutely ridiculous amount of you want to finish it.

No pictures, less episodes and no explanation of coins which is ridiculous! Not up front about the cost and how to use them. It becomes frustrating and annoying! Would have preferred an upfront fee and then sit back and enjoy. I’m not going to waste my time with this app it’s so sleazy. Trying to confuse and take advantage to make more money. This could have been a great app but greed got in the way. I’m done ✔️

Total ripoff. Worst company I’ve ever worked with.
Do not patronize them.

The stories are great very addictive and keep you utterly entertained. Sadly it would cost 100s to finish a single story.

I like to both read and listen to a series, however, in order to pick up where you left off reading the series, they charge you SO many coins and even then you might not be able to pick up where you left off. Then if you attempt to give them as low rating, it will not submit the review, it just turns and turns. It is much better to read the series than to listen to it.

They don't have the complete story before letting you start it and then when you get to end of what has been written you have to wait to get just 2 episodes a day I've been on one story for months now and it's getting old. I don't want to read another story until I finish one so this one I'm on will be the first and only story that I will read from this app. I could have already read 3 books in this time frame and I'm very disappointed in this app making you wait just to watch 2 episodes a day.

Don’t buy!
I liked their story but nothing but troubles and costs!
Long story short:
- their contact details are not in the app. You’ll have to find them on the net.
- I had problems logging in which took a couple of weeks to solve
- generally they answer within a couple of days which is nothing to be proud of but acceptable.
- I got interested due to advertising where you could hear the beginning of a story. When I decided to buy “coins” (you buy digital coins to be able to sequentially open their story’s) they wanted me to buy the first part which I had been listening to through their ads. So I would have to pay 80$ before I would be allowed to listen to the part I wanted to.
- I asked for a refund of my unused coins several times without any response.
- last but not least it is quite pricy!

They want you to write for them and the book I started had no sware words no sexual content and they still wouldn;t pulish everthing else I tried told me it was fine but not for them they are impeding on my freedom of speach

These are scammers ,you all say watch free then charge alot to watch ,am about to delete your app ,now you want us to pay to watch heart of a phoenix I am not paying to watch no more wickedness at its best.

EXPENSIVE and UNAFFORDABLE - what a shame :(

Really got in to the stories and happy to pay an affordable amount for content - but sadly this costs of finishing one story on pocket fm are in the hundreds of £££ - there are a huge amount of unhappy people that could have raved about the content as it is so good but unfortunately pocket fm don’t seem to care about the listener’s experience just want to make money. I bought coins and they disappeared. Can’t carry on. What an absolute shame.

Okay here's what I have a problem with Pocket FM when you when you try to go ahead and write a book inside pocket in FM and freezes did they tell you the updated then you updated then you close it out so I closed out pocket FM and all of a sudden I went to go put in chapter 163 and then it glitches so I get a message from the customer service office it tells me to close my book out I did that all of a sudden the title of my book is gone but the book is still there it's like in the limbo stage so y'all need to fix that and tell me what I need to do with my end because I'm about to just go ahead and delete the whole you know pocket FM because it's a good book but I'm not going to finish it if it's going to keep having problems so you need to fix the problems and stop saying that everybody gets paid for me which some people do but it seems like you're trying to screw people out of their books I need to stop doing that and be honest and truthful that's how bad things happen the bad people they do things wrong to wrong people and get bad things done to them

It’s far from free. It’s cheaper and a lot less glitches if you just pay for an audiobook earring, coins works less than half the time more coins you buy it seems the more it cost for episodes. The price just keeps going up. It’s never consistent. unscrupulous tactics.

Should be rated P for pedophile. You sexualize children and glorify violence against children. No wonder the modern youth are so broken.

I wouldn't use this site. Customer service SUCKS!!! And hard to even find how to contact them.
I received an offer to earn coins for a survey (video) never received the coins. I contacted them worried about it being a scam. They don't care!
You will have to listen to 45 minutes of ads just for 5 minutes of another episodes.
Some days you don't even get free episodes. Will randomly close. Plays books you don't like. Nothing but problems with this site.

They want let you skip to the episode you want to hear. For example on the story I want to hear I have made it to episode 382 but on here they want you go in order. I don't want to listen to episode 1 to 381 again that's a waste of my time and money.

Not only do they misadvertise “free”, it will say episodes unlock in 30 minutes and 30 minutes or an hour later it says episodes unlock in 22HOURS. Besides that I have done several things to “earn free coins, even downloading some games, and no coins! I have tried to address this with their chat, which replies the6 cannot access my account because I am not logged in. WHAT? How am I NOT logged in? No response to that.

This thing jumps back wards and then costs you to get by them to continue listening to where I left off. It shows I already listened to them but then they charge me coins that I have already paid. Going to finish using my coins then I'm done. Not going to let them take advantage of me no more! Then they won't let me post.

They limit the unlimited videos you can watch to earn coin. Release just a few episodes at a time when you are at the end. I still cant figure out how many episodes are left I'm on 959. Trying to decide if it is even worth finishing

I hate all the add and that once you get into a story they only unlock a few episodes every couple days. Plus a lot of their adds are double add so when it says watch 3 adds you are actually watching 6. They are not very reliable with their practices. I would never do any in app purchases with them.
