I needed a pocket watch to mark my 70th bithday, and also to accompany me to a classic, film-fan, meet-up which is in the planning stage; I was pleasantly knocked sideways when the pocket watch I had chosen arrived as the images and description on the Pocketwatch, website did not do it justice, the appearance combined with the size (case diameter) and weight gives the impression of a pocket watch which is far, far more expensive than it actually cost; plus the engravings I had ordered where 100% perfect. I have only had the pocket watch for two days and already someone has been struck by it and enquired where I got it from.

Lovely, plain pocketwatch bought as a gift for Valentine's Day. Nicely packaged and prompt arrival. However, after a week the watch stopped working ( was not overwound). Have messaged this company twice and no response forthcoming. Such a shame.

Pocket watch missing/not delivered. A replacement was refused, My Sister was told by the company to go around the village knocking on everyone's door to find it, this is not possible, due to her being disabled so after contacting Trading Standards I have emailed the company reminding them that it is not the buyers responsibility to track down a missing parcel. Awaiting reply.

I am so pleased with the mechanical watch I ordered and the customer service from Pocket Watch.
My husband and I wanted a special graduation gift for our son and the Greenwich pocket watch we purchased is perfect, plus it arrived quickly.
The inscription we requested to be engraved on it was rendered beautifully as well.
Very much appreciate Pocket Watch helping make an important milestone in our family so special!

Watch sent to Switzerland within a week, arrived in perfect state, great service, nothing left to say

My husband bought a £135 Rose colored gold pocket watch, only to find after a couple of days that it stopped working. On contacting customer services we were told to send the watch back tracked delivery Royal Mail,, which cost us nearly £8. When we informed Pocket Watch of this, we were told we should have only paid up to £4.50! and argued irrelevant that they insisted it should be tracked. Days after they had received it, we still had not received a refund and when we finally did, they would not pay the return postage, stating that there was nothing wrong with the watch. Shame on your company and we certainly would not recommend you to anyone.

Very impressed with the service. I ordered a pocket watch with engraving. I realised after ordering that the engraving requested was wrong, my fault not theirs. I rang them up and was asked to reply to the confirmation email with the correct engraving details, which I did. Got a further email less than two hours later to say the watch had been dispatched. It arrived two days later. Engraving exactly as I had requested. Very pleased with the watch and the service. Would definitely recommend.

Item looked nice BUT - arrived 24 hours later than expected and despite including a piece of paper stating that two people had apparently inspected it the hinge of the back closure was bent. I contacted them via e-mail and received no reply.

Next day was Christmas so I gave the watch to my daughter with a little note to the effect that I was minded to return it... she was initially inclined to keep it despite the dodgy hinge but then it stopped within 5 minutes of being set and wound.

So conclusion no reply to a ligitimate quality complaint and the watch itself appears to be defective and will be returned. I will update and ammend if the saga continues

.... Update, turned out there was nothing mecahnically wrong with the watch just not wound (Doh!) BUT ... Pocketwatch refused to accept that a bent hinge and wobbly back was a quality issue.

Ordered on Tue and delivered by the Friday. Engraving is great, a perfect birthday and Christmas present.

Excellent product and service. This was my second order with them and the product and customer service was brilliant. The product had a typo in the personalisation and they promptly acknowledged the issue and sent me a replacement with a very fast international delivery - free of charge. Superb service!! I will definitely buy more items from you.

Excellent service. Ordered 2 Rotary pocket watches one with engraving. I explained they were for a wedding 2 weekends hence in a follow up email which was responded to promptly. They arrived the following day. Amazing. Beautiful watches and exemplary service.

Really poor experience,

Order two products, of which the watch was great, but the watch chains of of very poor quality, and broke. I had to get the repair completed myself at further cost due to needing the pre-engraved item for a occasion I had specifically ordered the items for.

Asked for a small discount, and was rejected, even sent pictures as proof of poor quality, and said would send repair receipt.

Not at all happy.

I can’t praise this company enough.
They prepared, engraved and despatched my order in less than 24 hours.
The parcel was handed to a certain courier (see previous review) and it arrived damaged (Destroyed)
I contacted pocketwatch.co.uk and they were excellent. Although I had missed the occasion for which the watch was purchased they once again engraved a watch and got it to me guaranteed next day delivery.
They saved the day.
Can’t thank them enough.

I bought a pocket watch with two day delivery. My item didnt arrive so I contacted them and they told me their courier had let them down. I asked for a tracking number on more than one occasion and they didnt provide one. they then stopped responding to me all together and I became concerned they were going to take my money and run so I asked them to give me a refund or send me a replacement and again I was ignored. I then rang their office twice but their phone was dead. I left negative reviews about my experience and concern that they had taken off with my money, and the next day the pocket watch turned up. They wasted no time in demanding I take my reviews down which I refused. I stated I would amend them to reflect recent events and they refused. They are now taking legal action against me and have told me they will only stop if I take down the reviews completely. In my opinion, doing business with these people is a huge risk. I would advise caution.

I am very happy about my purchase from this website. I received my engraved item a few days after ordering it from UK and I live in Denmark. The item is beautiful, comes in a box and with guarantee and instructions. Fantastic shopping experience.
