The communication and the survey itself (1 hour face-to-face) were all fine, everyone was professional and easy to work with. Unfortunatlely, the compensation I was offered before taking part in the interview was in one currency (GBP) and was then sent to me in a different currency (USD) despite being advertised differently to me, so I lost ~25% of my compensation for no reason. The team didn't see the problem and didn't make any effort to resolve the issue, which was a shame and leaves me unsure whether I want to continue working with Polar Insight. If this happens often, it's basically ripping off those who are giving up their valuable time.
Update: after writing this review I was contacted about resolving the situation - after asking for the rest of the promised compensation, I was given it and will now update from 3 to 4 stars.

Was kept informed, interview was great and the reward came in without the need for chasing or following up! Very professional, will work with them again without hesitation.
Super clean process, and lots of support from the team and the arrangement of the consultancy sessions
Arrangements for the interview were easy and the interviewer was lovely. I enjoyed it. Afterwards the reward took the full 30 days and needed a bit of chasing. It would have been a four star review but gave them 5 as the resolution was super fast.
Spent 30 mins doing the survey. Got the voucher in the end but I had to chase twice and it took 6 weeks

A great marketing research company. Had an opportunity to interview with them. Top customer service, they do care about their clients. Special thanks to James.
Through Polar Insight, I provided valuable feedback for market research and product development of a logistics and supply chain company. The recruiting, interview, and compensation processes were straightforward and hassle-free.
It was smooth and easy to communicate with the person on the other line.
The interview session was informative and intersting about the topic.
Some interruption, but generally god connection on Microsoft Teams.
Professional, informal chat with people who made me feel like I my contributions were valued.
Reward was sent within a few hours, it was in US $ (not GBP £, as expected), and a slightly lower amount to what was communicated previously, but that could be exchange rates or some other factor and it was close enough to not make any real difference.
The interview session itself was great.
Super simple to get involved with the focus group, communication and organisation were excellent. Lovely host - enjoyable experience!
My interview went really well, and I was opened up to lots of new ideas about EV charging hub. It was an easy talk with the interviewer no pressure or anything. Glad I got a chance to complete the interview, and the rewards are sweet too!!!
Really enjoyed the session, the host facilitated really well engaging the cohort and welcomed the opinions and discussions from the group.
The interviewer was really friendly and welcoming, the questions were easy to answer, after some thought. From start to finish opinions were valued and listened too.
Great experience. Easy to deal with, good communication, focus group was interesting and well run. Thanks!
Great experience with this one on one study; engaging and super helpful to flesh out the ideas I've been processing for the last 6-8 months. Very much enjoyed the discussion.
I was contacted in local language, and thought it was some sort of odd auto translate, but then realized that they did it to seem more trustworthy. I was curious and played along, despite reaching out to someone you dont know in badly translated local language when you have vetted people on Linkedin and know they have a reasonable level of English language seems odd. Also, what started as money up front, became gift cards. I know they operate out of the UK, but I am pretty sure that UK law is relatively EU compliant, and that such changes of the nature of the rewards are, at best, not a proper way to do business.
Doing a bit of research on the company, I noticed two things:
1: When you don't qualify, despite someone reaching out to you, you are offered monetary compensation for a referral. That is always a red flag to me.
2: The majority of 5 star reviews here on Trustilot are from one-time-use users. Also a massive red flag.
And then I dont understand how/why people with university degrees are conducting opinion / market research interviews, around where I live, you leave that to students and young people who make 1/10 the salary of a university graduate with +5 years of post graduate work experience.
This smells like a scam.

The session was quite interesting and interacting. The anchor was quite professional and friendly and the questions he asked were insightful.
It was a great experience to share my expertise in field to improve the industry.
A really good experience! The research is interesting and it's nice to feel like I've contributed to making something better. The team makes sure you know what's happening and when, and do everything possible to ensure that it's a good experience.
