By far the best revision resource for A-level Politics! I never really got along with the subject as I consistently struggled with the content and the essays. However, after purchasing Ollie’s notes and religiously watching his youtube videos I went from an E in my December mocks to receiving an A on results day. It was a great surprise (mostly for my teachers!) that I largely credit to Ollie and Politics Explained. Buying some of the online resources or even watching Ollie’s youtube is a game changer that I highly recommend!!

the most useful study source i used for politics a level, got me from Ds to an A in the final exam!! The free youtube videos cover EVERYTHING you need to know cannot explain how much this channel saved my grade, thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos!

THE best politics tutoring company. There is no other tutoring company which comes close to this one! The support they give their students are unmatched, Nell, Oli and Noor were all amazing. All of the tutors believed in me, supported me, and helped me achieve my dream grade and attain a place at university. The resources provided are perfect. I cannot thank them enough!

THE BEST TUTORING AND MATERIAL FOR EDEXCEL ALEVEL POLITICS ! Coming from someone who tried 3 different ones, I’d say Oli and Alexandra are a large part of the reason I got an A*.
A perfected and directed tutoring technique that picks out the very niche corrections needed! So much so my grades improved B-> A after the second session, after being stuck on a B for over a yearrrrrr.

I ended up with an A*, being tutored by Alexandra, who gave me perfect phrases and techniques for essay writing and using so many of olis essay plans in my actual exams!! I’m so so thankful and genuinely believe that Politics explained is the #1 best service available, largely as it is done by recent students, who know DOING the exams, rather than teachers who mark and teach them.
Olis essay plans are contemporary, with recent info, which is EXACTLY what they want for the A*. Alexandra also is very up to date in her knowledge as she also studies Human Social and political sciences, so I was prepped perfectly with evidence that stands out to examiners!!

I cannot recommend Oli and his team enough!! The weekly lessons for my son in Year 13 absolutely definitely helped him secure his B grade in Politics which in turn has allowed him to pursue his first choice of both university and course. Oli’s very personable style of teaching meant that the lessons weren’t a ‘chore’ to be carried out but more of a peer meet-up with just the right amount of education and guidance. No request from a demanding mum (!) was too much and Oli diligently secured another tutor for one part of the course when my son’s school teacher was absent for that course component. As a teacher myself I know that the methods that Oli (and team) employ work, ie: how to approach the exam questions/ practice of essay writing /teaching of depth of content and subsequent revision) - BUT making all that something that a teenager doesn’t ‘mind’ doing is a real skill! Therefore, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this young man and his team to you all… and I will be forever grateful that they helped my son to ‘shine’ as I KNEW ( and, actually more importantly, as THEY also believed) he could! A MASSIVE THANK YOU! 🙏

Politics Explained has the best A-Level Politics resources out there. The information is conveyed so clearly, with recent examples and made me understand Politics so deeply. I relied entirely upon these resources throughout Year 13 and I achieved an A today, after receiving Cs and Ds in Year 12. Couldn’t recommend more :)

Politics Explained is an amazing resource with a wide range of both free and paid content which is awesome. During my first year i was struggling and failing A level politics getting E’s. After finding Politics Explained I got up to a C in my February mock and today on A-Level results day I got an A* which I could never have dreamed of without finding the channel. If you have the money the paid content is very helpful but Oli is extremely generous to put out so much free helpful content which to people who can’t necessarily afford 1-1 tutoring is amazing. I would recommend Politics explained to anyone !

Ollie’s videos and resources have been so incredibly helpful for A Level politics! Both the content and the structure/organisation of all resources and videos make them so accessible; politics revision was so much less daunting thanks to Politics Explained! Thank you Ollie!!

Both the videos and essay plans were so useful. Politics was my worst subject and I just really struggled to get my head around it as well as having some tricky personal circumstances. I was getting U/Es throughout the course then bought the essay plans a few weeks before my exam. I used them to revise from and used the alternative essay questions as well and got a comfortable B. Which given the circumstances I am extremely happy with thank you so much!

Politics Explained youtube videos were so useful thankyou. Ended up get an A in Politics when I got a D in my mock. Thank you for the help with revising.

Politics explained videos have helped me get an A* in politics! I was struggling with politics in my first year but his videos really simplified politics and gave really useful tips that helped me do well. Highly highly recommend!!
