have been a loyal and problem-free customer of Poloniex for over 12 years, yet I am being treated like a criminal. Poloniex is practicing "stealth blocking": they credited a $374 transfer to my account, then hours later disabled withdrawals for my ENTIRE balance of over $1010 without any notification.
They are holding $636 of my unrelated "clean" assets over a $374 dispute. I have provided video proof and full history, but support (Willy/Yana) keeps repeating impossible requests for 3rd-party data.
I filed a Formal Complaint, but they ignored the 48-hour deadline. After 12 years of loyalty, they won't even give me a human response or a "Return to Source" option. This is an unlawful withholding of property. Ticket #1841481. Beware!

BEWARE! Poloniex is holding my deposit of ~$200 for over 11 days now. The funds are clearly in their hot wallet (confirmed on blockchain), but they refuse to credit my account.
Support (Live Chat) is useless. Agents like Ophelia, Colin, and Vivian just lie about "escalating" to a specialist and then close the chat on me. They promise "High Priority" but do nothing.
This feels like theft. I am reporting this everywhere until I get my money back.

Poloniex is holding customer funds hostage following the November 2023 hack. Despite owner Justin Sun's promises of 100% security and resumed withdrawals, users with Dogelon Mars (ELON) tokens have been unable to access their assets for over two years.

The exchange disabled the ELON wallet entirely and then proceeded to delist the token with an April 2025 deadline, all while the withdrawal function remained broken. Customers were reportedly told their funds would be "archived" and permanently lost after that date.

This inaction has effectively stolen millions of dollars in user assets. Poloniex has shown a complete disregard for its users and failed to provide a viable path for recovering assets lost during the breach. Avoid this platform at all costs; your funds are not safe here.

I made a TON deposit from my Kraken account to Poloniex on September 11, but it has still not been credited after more than 3 weeks.

When transferring BTC to another wallet, they displayed the transfer without a fee, but after it was done, they charged more than $100, which is more than 10% of the amount and 30 times more than Binance would charge for a similar transaction on the same blockchain.

A tech support employee repeats the same template phrases like a robot, and completely ignores my arguments and screenshots.

The exchange is an absolute Scam and fraudulent. After this case I transferred all balances in all currencies to USDT and withdrew, completely zeroed out my account before they stole anything again.

This isn't just an inconvenience; in my country, retaining an invalidated ID is illegal, so they are essentially demanding I provide something that I am legally required to surrender. To make matters worse, they have completely ignored my request to close the account fully. This has led me to a stark conclusion: my advice is to close "your" account while you still can.

Based on this level of operational chaos, I strongly urge you to move money elsewhere ASAP. A company that cannot handle basic support functions or even a simple account closure request feels like one that is going bankrupt soon. My case remains pending with this company; there has been no change or resolution.

The company is demanding documents that are non-existent. They are also requiring that I provide proof that my legal statements are valid within my country.

Despite the unresolved status and these demands, the company is even refusing to honor my request to close the account. Fortunately, I have no funds held with them.

This remains the worst company I have ever dealt with. AVOID at all costs.

Bad customer service. One week already cannot resolve issue on p2p. Same message every day, no solution, no timeline until when.
