Great service from Polygon leak detection - would definitely recommend. Initial call was very helpful with clear explanations of service to be expected. Engineer that called was excellent. He located the leak with minimum of disruption. Leak repair was straightforward without requiring major access work. Having paid for Trace and Access, Polygon were quick to reimburse me for services not required - thank you!

Polygon visited our house to help identify the source of a water leak. Our house has a very complicated plumbing set up and the Engineer was on site for over 5-hours using various water leak detection tools before he eventually pinpointed the cause of our leak. His subsequent report provided a thorough explanation of the areas he checked and how he finally identified the source of our problem. An excellent service.

Had a Leak under the lounge floor. Other major companies struggled to find this. It took Eddie Palmer from Polygon less than 2 hours to pinpoint the area of leakage which was exactly where it was. Would definitely recommend anyone with leakage issues that are not visible, not to waste time with any other firms.

After months of losing pressure in my boiler I employed polygon to detect the leak in my house which we had surmised must be at ground floor level. The engineer arrived on time and carried out extensive investigations to eventually find the leak hidden beneath the kitchen. He then carried out work to expose the leak and repaired it before leaving the area clean tidy and safe.

Overall a really good experience the engineer was professional polite and lovely mannered.

I can't praise this company highly enough. After, last year, we discovered a long-time undetected hot water leak, concealed behind the tub in our bathroom, we found ourselves dealing with a large no. of people - ranging from the insurance and loss adjustor co's to various "experts" on damp, before we even began to remedy the problem.
It was all highly stressful - until Polygon came in. Calmly and efficiently, their Joshua Fryer-Cooper assessed the damage, produced a clear and detailed report the next day, subsequently installed drying equipment and monitored the drying process before, finally, issuing a certificate confirming the property was dry enough to renovate and re-plaster etc. (we had had to have nine walls stripped back to brick, in order for the bathroom and adjacent rooms to dry out!)
Joshua was reliable and friendly at all times - of all the many people we dealt with, I told him he was at that time the only one who really impressed me with his competence - he knew his job, and exactly what to do.
Many months later, when the renovations were complete, I was able to persuade the insurance co. to re-hire Polygon - to provide one of their other functions: carry out a "post builder's clean".
Simon Woodcock of Polygon came with two other men. I can't describe how beautifully they cleaned and reorganised the house - better than anyone else has ever done it - so I hardly recognised it when they had finished. In addition, Simon arranged for a company called Pink Label to collect, clean, and return all our bedding, pillows, clothing etc. that had become saturated with dust and grit. The items were returned today: sparkling clean, sorted - clothes on hangers, other items bagged, and folded where necessary, all in excellent order. Simon himself was consistently courteous, friendly, and utterly professional. At the end, I felt like hugging him!
At all times, Polygon's men kept contact with me, gave me reliable mobile phone no's so I could phone them at any time, always knew when they were coming, and what was happening (no hours of hanging onto unmanned phone lines, as with so many other companies these days).
It's not often that I can recommend a company unreservedly, but in this case I do. A wonderful outfit - obviously well managed from the top. I wish I could say that about more businesses I have to deal with.

I had a leak somewhere under a concrete floor in a bungalow I recently bought, I called Polygon and they sent a very polite engineer who was extremely good at his job after much testing and searching he found the leak removed some concrete floor and repaired the leaking pipe work .I couldn't be more happier and relieved. Thanks to all at Polygon

Friday 17 June the guys arrived at my address to find a leak under the floorboards. They were polite, professional team who located the leak near to the shower. It was promptly fixed after having to take out the washbasin for access, everything was put back with the exception of the flooring as that will have to be replaced. A star -POLYGON for first class service. Thank-you

Damp patches appearing on kitchen wall and adjacent wc. Initially investigated by plumbers who could find no source. Employed Polygon to Trace source of leak in minimally invasive manner. The two operatives arrived on date and time arranged, and employed multiple noninvasive technologies to identify source of leak ( including thermal imaging, wall humidity detection, dye tests and fibre optic imaging). Source identified as cold feed to upstairs bathroom sink. In total were on site for 6 hours. Sent me and my insurance company very comprehensive report, and have subsequently been engaged by my insurance company to commence structural drying works. Fixed charge paid up front well worth the avoidance of ripping out tiled bathroom. Have already recommended Polygon to friends with house leaks that are difficult to source.

The complete experience was smooth and reassuring. Mark at HQ was pleasant and informative. Their Engineer was skilled, helpful and methodically worked through until he found the leak. Always cautious of minimal damage in doing so.

I received an email to say an appointment had been booked with this company, even though I hadn't made an appointment. On telephoning, I was told I had been emailed in error and to ignore. However, today I have received further emails from the company to say they have attended and I will be receiving a further email with the invoice! To reiterate I never made an appointment, I telephoned to explain they had the wrong person and no one from their company has come to my property...Beware!

Having previously used Polygon a couple of years ago, they still maintain an excellent and thorough service. The report was provided the following morning and was clear and concise. Eddie remained professional and courteous throughout, very pleased with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend to others!

Cut a long story short, what an unprofessional company these are. I believe that they were trying to rip off the insurance company dealing with my claim. The subcontractor who was sent out did half a job lifting the damaged floor. The second half was not lifted because the contractor couldnt move a tv unit as it wasnt insured. I understand that if a second visit is required then there is an additional charge. They were looking for an excuse not to do the job. Insurance claims is big money for contractors like polygon. They bleed us dry where we have to pay higher premiums as firms like polygon rip insurance companies off.
I had a rant today with polygon and the insurance and for once, the insurance listened to me and i have been informed that their contract has been terminated, whether this is just my property or from the insurance company, i dont know. But that is what i asked for and i got it. I am hoping the insurance will take my advice and dont use polygon again. I know how the games are played. Why are we paying so high premiums because of games like this. Sending contractors to my address with zero communications, no work plans, no details of other affected properties. just turn up and hope nobody is in. Maybe another scam, they play, who knows. Rant over.
