I asked if three artefacts discovered in a house renovation could be displayed and framed. They are believed to be calling cards left by the workmen amongst the rafters around 1912. We could not be more pleased with Richard and his team for this superb display of precious archives.

Great website. I phoned to say that we would be away until a certain date. Contacted them when we got home and the picture was duly dispatched. We were very very impressed with the way the picture had been protected. This gallery is certainly very good, they have some super pictures for sale and our daughter is absolutely delighted with the picture our son-in-law chose for her birthday

A big thank you for our beautiful personalised picture. Having actually seen the picture a few years ago, I knew it would be the perfect finishing touch to our newly renovated bedroom. You were so easy to deal with, and happy to make any amends to get the picture exactly as we wanted it. It is so unique...I will cherish it for years to come...

I came in for a quote to have corrections/repairs carried out to two original painting frames that we had purchased whilst on honeymoon in the Lake District and the gallerythat we had bought them from had told us to get them a quote. The team at Pomfret were very helpful and corrected both of the frames. They wouldnt accept any payment either, even though it would be paid for by the other gallery.
Very helpful and kind. We have bought pieces of art from Pomfret in the past and I will continue to use them for both framing and for pieces of art. Thank you!

Excellent service from Chris and his business. Really enjoy supporting a local business and trust me I’ve been brunes ordered frames only before which have warped and bent over time. The frames here are exceptional and have brought life to our pictures.
Expert advice is given as well - we had issues with some of our pictures being a little small but Chris explained this to us and the potential issues or problems as well as outlining the risks of us trying to frame out pics but we appreciated his advice and honesty ahead of choosing to get them framed.
I’ve now arranged for further framing to be done with him as we’re so happy with our pictures.

Over the years have purchased several pictures and had many items framed. The last item was a medal and certificate that needed to be framed urgently. Despite the usual week lead time it was completed in just over a day and the finished product was first class as all the other items I've had. For a professional service in this area use Pomfret.
