I ordered a headset and it was a…

I ordered a headset and it was a horrendous experience as the company gave the delivery people the wrong email address and I wasn’t able to pay import charges till I rectified the problem myself through the delivery company and when talking to Pooleys was confronted what do you want me to do about it.

Very Pleased with the products I have…

Very Pleased with the products I have purchased from Pooleys and will use them again . I would have give them five stars but had a couple of problems with their Delivery Service DPD.
Pooleys Customer service was very helpful and chased up the issues. Big Thanks to Neil and Wendy.

Ordering apparel

Ordering apparel online can be a problem, will it fit or what's the quality like, no problem here. I ordered a uniform pullover from Pooleys, unfortunately it was too small, my fault. This was sent back to Pooleys telling them the problem and they sent me the next size up by return of post and did not charge me. Certainly I will be using them again.

Excellent support for unusual product request

I was not the usual type of customer as building a PC based simulator using 2.5mm audio and mic jacks, rather than a real aircraft. Pooley's couldn't have been more helpful (and interested) and as I have Captain and First Officer side, needed adaptor for twin headsets as well.
2 products dispatched (PA96 and PA72S) and worked great but found that we found we couldn't use the mics to talk to each other.

Asked if could help and within the hour had phoned back to offer to replace the latter with a PA200

Headsets work perfectly now, thanks Marcus for your assistance and patience.

Good service though initially sent wrong item

Pooley's sometimes makes silly mistakes despatching items - perhaps it's a busy period (a 3 item check - right item, not damaged, in date if charts, could help). However, their staff are usually very friendly and helpful in fixing the issue and quickly send out replacements.

Appalling customer service

Filled in their online form twice with a query regarding one of their products and neither have been responded to. This is now 4 months on.

In general, good products but don’t expect any customer service at all

Be careful before you order from this…

Be careful before you order from this company. I ordered an item 2 years ago which was never delivered. I completely forgot about it until a month or so ago when I received an email saying the item had dispatched. A month later and still no delivery. Have attempted to email the company for clarification but received no reply. Couldn’t make this stuff up.

Pooleys ebooks

Purchased several Pooleys ebooks that were rather expensive for an ebook. You have to read them through an app that offers no ebook functionality. No annotation or marking. Not even a basic linked table of contents or search. Each page will carry two water marks and not really usable as a study or reference book since it is not an actual ebook, but a copy that you would have to page through page by page. That for a price that is way above actual books or ebooks. Very poor form.

40 years as a delighted Pooleys customer!

This review is based on 40 years of using Pooleys. I started off buying stuff from Pooleys as a trainee glider pilot. Everything I bought seemed perfectly suited to the task, kneeboards, laminated maps etc. It was always a joy getting the catalogue and seeing what treats I could afford for the upcoming summer! The years went by, I completed my CPL, Instrument Rating and ATPL whilst a military pilot, all using equipment from Pooleys and all just right for the job. Well-thought-through and well engineered for the job in hand. Now I'm at the end of my flying career and doing a little bit of flight instruction. I encourage my students to buy all of the Pooleys learning materials because they are completely on point yet precise, awesome value for anyone wanting a head start in flying training. I have just bought a new kneeboard to replace my last one which did many years of sterling service, it's just right and I am delighted with it! Thank you Pooleys for providing me with awesome supplies over four decades!

Thanks Pooley's

After I ordered something, the package went completely wrong due to ignorance at DPD Belgium. How this was then solved by POOLEYS is unbelievable. Their professionalism is perfect and they immediately provided a solution. the package was resent by them yesterday (via DHL) and has already been delivered in Belgium today. Perfect service and very friendly people :-)

Fast and Excellent Service

I ordered Microsoft flight simulator 2020 through their website and they shipped the next day directly and it came well packed in just one day. Wonderful!!

Sorry but after years buying off...

Sorry but after years buying off Pooleys. I'm gone. End of May 2019, I order £100 of Charts having made it clear that I only wanted them if 8.33 was fully propagated on all the charts. First plate I flew to last week and the frequency on the plate was wrong. I complained and was told loads were wrong because the data was from last November!!!!
I made it clear that if they were not current - I didn't want them. £100 of mere paper, thanks Pooleys. I'm gone to the competition now. For good.

Exemplary service from a most reliable company.

What a terrific company with which to do business. It is a delight to acknowledge that Pooley's continues to demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction that is sorely lacking elsewhere.

In recent dealings it went out of its way to re-send a defective product by next-day delivery, surely cutting into its short-term profits in so doing, thereby ensuring a much needed item would be in hand prior to an upcoming trip. This experience proves yet again that Pooley's takes seriously its reputation as a dependable retailer.
