Do not recommend

I ordered a pool robot and 7 days later I still have not received any update regarding shipping. I reach out to them via chat and they inform me that this particular vacuum is on backorder. I requested a full refund and they claim they will process it today. I'm really frustrated that it was not disclosed to me when I ordered that this vacuum was on backorder.

DO NOT BUY FROM POOLROBOTS.COM

DO NOT BUY FROM POOLROBOTS.COM - I purchased a new Dolphin Premier from them because the price was better than Amazon. Item was eventually received and I realized it was an older model that did not suit my needs, so I requested a return authorization within a few days and eventually received one, but was told that I would have to pay shipping - I figured it was an idiot tax I had to pay for trying to save a few bucks and order from an unknown company (little did I know shipping would be over $100!) Anyway, I packed up the Robot carefully, sent it by UPS, and they received the return a few days later and I received an email marking my return complete - except it is more than a month later and THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED MY MONEY to my CC. They will not respond to my emails and now they have their merchandise and my money and are ghosting me. I wish I would have read the dozens of reviews below and I would have never gotten into this mess! Stay away!!

Dolphin NEVER shipped

We ordered a Dolphin Cayman pool robotic cleaner on 6/9/2025. As of 6/14/2025 it has not shipped. FedEx has been waiting for the packages so the shipping labels could be applied. We want the order cancelled and request a full refund. Since it has obviously never left inventory and never been shipped there should not be a restocking fee. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Charged, Nothing Shipped, No Refund Processed

Ordered a Dolphin pool cleaner from PoolRobots (aka PoolBots aka PremierRobotic aka Quantum Robotic). Got a confirmation that the product was shipped. After 2 day there was no shipping updates. I emailed the seller (no response) then called... it took a while but someone finally answered and looked up my order. He said the item was on backorder. I asked why I would get an email saying it was shipped if there wasn't even a product to put in a box, he didn't know). I asked him why I would be charged for something that they didn't have to sell, he didn't know. He said they'd issue a refund but it's been 3 days and my CC company said no one has processed a refund. I tried ordering the same product from a different website but it turned out to be the same exact company using one of several other aliases... and they charged me again, and again they did not have the product in stock. I have made several other attempts to cancel the orders with both companies but they have not responded.

Avoid this site

I ordered a dolphin pool cleaner. the order went through and then the scam started. they said there was a problem with the order. I tried to call the number, no response. I emailed no response. I spoke to a sales rep online, only to get redirected. They charged my credit card, but still I don't have any confirmation that they are sending me the unit. I will have to take action, don't know how this is going to turn out. To save 100 dollars, I should have known
better. Avoid this company.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing – poor quality and poor service. The quality is poor — it stopped working properly after just a few months. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful and refused to respect the legal warranty conditions. Unprofessional and disappointing experience. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I sought advice to correct a problem two months ago and was advised "technicians" would contact me.

Still waiting.

The filter lid doesn't lock in the closed position so the
machine won't operate.

I regret not reading those reviews…

I regret not reading those reviews before doing business with this company. My experience is similar as others: robot arrived very poorly packaged, bought an "open box" but received a beat up unity, robot was working and all the return process was a nightmare. Have to open a dispute with my CC company to try to get my money back

Terrible Customer Service

I purchased a Dolphin Sigma from Poolbots. The tracks regularly came off (the robot often doesn’t recognize this for a while and tries to continue cleaning but can only move a few feet). When the tracks do stay on, there were constant errors, where it shuts down and stops cleaning. The robot would either think it’s out of the pool (which it wasn't) or finally recognizes that the track has come off and errors out. I tried to work with Poolbots Customer Support team to get this resolved but Shannon was unwilling to honor a return (even though I contacted support within the 30 day window to report the issues). She directed me to Maytronics, who requires you to pay to ship the unit back for service. To spend $1,500 on a unit that doesn't work and then get terrible support is frustrating. I need to purchase another pool vacuum for next season and I definitely won't be doing that through Poolbots. I hope other people considering purchasing through Poolbots see this review and it saves you from experiencing a similar situation.

Customer service is the worst

Customer service is the worst. They have the same few people giving you the same advice. They slowly respond to answer questions so that your 30 day return window is closed. Then they tell you to call the manufacturer. Seems more like a scam company.
The E-Mail address are some weird domain as well.
Shop Amazon !

ZERO Customer Service

I ordered a refurbished Dolphin Premier robot on 4/22/24. On 4/26/24 the robot was delivered in a very battered box, with tape missing on one side and puncture holes.
I took photos before opening the box. Upon opening the box all components of the robot were loose inside the box with ZERO packing material present.
The back wheel area has a crack and the robot makes a loose plastic rattling sound when moved. I immediately emailed PoolBots about the condition it arrived in, including all the photos I took and asked for a return shipping label to send the damaged robot back to them.

They responded 3 days later stating that I have to pay the return shipping on this huge and heavy robot.
I responded back reiterating this was not an acceptable customer service approach in this situation.
They responded the next day stating that I will have to pay return shipping anyway and mentioned that I purchased a refurbished unit so I should expect some scratches. They told me to put it in my pool and if it doesn't work I can submit a video to them for tech support help.

I responded again and clarified again that this was not a "refurbish" issue - it was a broken unit UPON ARRIVAL and no, I will not put the busted up robot in my new pool just to "see what happens". I advised that nowhere on their website does it say buying a refurbished unit (only $300 less than brand new) means they just throw everything in a box with one piece of tape and then cross their fingers and hope it arrives to the customer intact.

They responded back "I understand" and closed out my ticket!

Poolrobots.com is a horrible company

Poolrobots.com is a horrible company. Their customer service is dismal. I purchased a Blue Helix pool robot from them and it has not worked correctly since day one. I set it to clean my pool floors only but it still climbs the walls and gets stuck there until I turn it off. I have sent pictures and videos of the problem and they keep telling me it’s working correctly. They won’t do anything but tell me to return it. At my cost of about about $150. Then they will refund me my cost but not the shipping! So I will have spent $150 for nothing!!! Don’t buy from them!!!

Poolbots is one of the worst companies…

Poolbots is one of the worst companies that I have ever worked with. I purchased the Dophin Premier and it broke the first time I put it in the pool. I requested to get a refund for the product. They denied my request three times and then finally agreed. I then shipped the product to be returned to them. For some reason, my shipment was returned to me. So, I contacted them again to explain the situation and for them to issue me another shipping label and to accept my product. They refused to accept my return. I asked multiple times to speak to the supervisor who made the decision to deny my return, and they refused to let me speak to them. Now, I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work and that I can't return. They are refusing to give me a refund or to speak with me any more on the topic. I will never do business with them, and I recommend that you do the same.

Same webshop as many other businesses…

Same webshop as many other businesses registered tot he same address. I ordered from 2 of them, and both times had the wrong product. Can't believe people work at a place like this and happily waste others time and money.

Worst company

Worst company. Sent me a open box dolphin quantum said they inspect it that it is in working condition. It came and the power supply went on but the robot didn’t work. Looking in the box the Amazon return slip was still in there from the last person who sent it back lol!! Even worse is the customer service no on answers the phone or chat luckily maytronics the company who makes the robot is taking care of it but I had to send it out and wait for them to fix it! This company is a fraud go to a store and buy it they don’t even look at them when they get returned. Waste of time terrible company!

Do not waste your money nor your time with that vendor, you're gong to loose both / Ne perdez pas votre temps ni votre argent avec ce site, vous ne reverrez ni l'un ni l'autre / No malgastes tu dinero ni tu tiempo con ese proveedor, vas a perder ambos / Verspil uw geld of uw tijd niet met die verkoper, u gaat beide verliezen.

I've had the same bad experience described in the other review. Price is competitive, you register, then pay (visa is not an option anymore, they've probably be identified as fraud by credit card companies) then get no news, no answer on the phone, then some ridiculously aggressive mail to make you wait, then nothing. End of the story, say goodbye to your money.

According to the many other reviews on the net, customers get nothing, or when they do the article is either broken, incomplete, or different from what has been ordered. I’ve had a few exchanges with authorities, they already know the vendor (ECG Nederland). There is apparently not a lot they can do about it - although customers should continue the reporting, just not expect a rapid resolution. I’m of course angry but have decided to give up on wasting my energy with this fraud, and rather dedicate one hour of my time to report my finding here with the hope it will prevent others from doing the same mistake I did. It's not going to bring my money back, but it provides me with the satisfaction to hurt the vendor who stole it.

FINDING 1. there are several websites in different languages managed by the same vendor (the official vendor’s name as identified by the police is ECG Nederland). I've provided a list of the site as of October 2021 below, but it is certainly not exhaustive and I'm sure they regularly delete some sites (reviews from customers are never older than 1 year) and that the vendor creates others to start with a fresh reputation. I'm listing as much as I could find so that it gets indexed by search engine

FINDING 2: According to my experience and other reports on the web they do not care about your complaints or threats to go to police. However, they care about these reviews. The vendor indeed writes and posts fake positive reports on different customer review sites. It is easy to spot: the very same positive report from a fake customer is posted about different websites from the same vendor, in different language. What kind of enthusiastic customer would do that? On the opposite, I’m a pissed-off customer who will post this same report everywhere! That's it, for the rest do you search I'm sure you'll find other evidence. I wish I did this before they stole me hundreds of Euros.
