My restaurant is landlocked

My restaurant is landlocked. I can only fit so many people in my restaurant at one time. And we are maxed out! Thanks to Popmenu, we can increase our sales volume significantly with online ordering.
Popmenu is a one-stop shop application that has many abilities and allows me to control so many tasks. After a couple of years, I have noticed how the company continues to improve its technology. Not an investment that you would make, only to find out six months from now they are obsolete. These guys are on top of their game. I highly recommend adding their service to your restaurant

By far the worst platform

By far the worst platform. They lie and still from you. No additional business generated by using them. I have lost money. And they will charge you for 18 month upfront and continue that and won’t give you your money back if you want to cancel. They told me that it was 18 months and then a month to month no contract. Yet when I tried to cancel they told me they can refund me my money bc I had to cancel before they the next 18 months. Worst purchase I’ve made. Don’t use this platform it’s the worst. And now I’m $6k under thanks to them

I was prefer by Sysco to this company

I was prefer by Sysco to this company. One of the biggest mistakes business decision I made. First I dealt with a crook named Alex from Popmenu. He promised me and told me I was loosing thousands of dollars dealing with Uber and grubhub Doordash tht his company will eliminate them for me and I can deal directly with the customers. That’s not try Uber Doordash Grubhub all have their own loyal customers. And Popmenu is a lost for me I pay almost $400 a month plus they charging me $1 dollar for every order placed. Clover online ordering is free I knew that from the first day. Only reason I signed with these guys is because I was lied to from the first day. There site always go down randomly and customers aren’t able to order. Their support sucks I can’t never get in hold of the sales rep. Please be aware and look into this company before signing. You will have to spent your own money to gain customers to order on Popmenu. Or you will have to tell your customer to order on Popmenu for a $1 extra charge deliver is $7.99 extra for customers. I don’t want my customers pay nothin extra. This people don’t care bout there customers

Horrible company

Horrible company. Their “onboarding” sales makes promises that management does not fulfill. Then when you complain about it; they point out that you are locked into a service agreement. Their calendar only allows for weekly recurring events, so if you have monthly recurring events like many music venues like mine do, you have to re-enter events all the time. I was told well over 18 months ago that this would be fixed within 3 months. Nope. Their web design team sucks also. I’d suggest spending 2 hours using wix or an inexpensive web design platform. I highly recommend NOT using PopMenu. It’s basically a typical “bait and switch” company that makes promises they don’t keep.

Just don't do it

Just don't do it. On top of the high cost for Popmenu's platform, they will charge an additional $1 for every order placed on their online ordering platform. This $1 fee was not made clear to us during the sales pitch and their suggestions were to eat the cost myself or pass it on to the customer. Starting from the first day the platform went live, we had customers calling in their orders to avoid the $1 fee, which accomplished exactly the opposite result we were looking for. I tried to compromise with Popmenu to buy out my contract by paying a few months, but their offer was to pay out the rest of the 24 month contract. I fully regret partnering with Popmenu. There are other companies doing the same for less with more emphasis on the customer experience. Save yourself the trouble

Spam artists

They keep sending me emails for a restaurant over 1000 miles from where we live and THEY WON'T STOP. I tried to unsubscribe, but THEY WON'T STOP. If you want people to hate you and curse you, go ahead and pay these jerks to stir up bad feelings about your business.

Dont waste your money or time with popmenu.

Pop menu claims to understand restaurant business but they dont, their websites are all the same template, they just change colors of the website for each restaurant, no depth in understanding the restaurant operation and their dashboard is confusing, We switched to VnuMngr.com they provide better software and attentive support, Dont waste your money or time with popmenu.

Absolute disaster for our restaurant

Absolute disaster for our restaurant! They charge thousands of dollars, they will get you into sneaky contracts, when questioned they will take your website down and delete your account without notice. They are just there to steal your money, that's all!

Unethical business practices. Please stay away from this company.

Beware of Popmenu

Complaint filed with BBB (Atlanta) on 01.26.2023

Signed a contract for two (2) businesses, one a bar/restaurant and the other an ice cream manufacturer. After a few months, realized that subject company services were not suited for my ice cream manufacturing business contrary to my bar/restaurant business. After reviewing Popmenu contracts, it became evident that subject contract was one-sided and very restrictive. Since I prepaid the services for the two (2) businesses, I have requested a refund for the ice cream manufacturing business (over $13K) but to no avail, Popmenu has refused to refund my monies. Although we service six (6) ice cream scooping venues, we do not own these shops which are totally independent from my manufacturing facility. Popmenu was structured to service restaurant businesses and not manufacturing facilities, but Popmenu wants to keep my monies and justify their services for manufacturing which is more about greed than being reasonable. Popmenu should refund my $13K and also rewrite their contracts to be more reasonable instead of one-sided and inflexible. I'd like to warn all potential clients of Popmenu to thoroughly read their contracts and reconsider signing with Popmenu and going with other options or other organizations. Mahalo!
