I would give this app negative 0 stars…

I would give this app negative 0 stars if possible. The number they provide to call can not help you and the service stinks . I would not recommend this for anyone to use . My money has been floating in cyber space for over a week now and my account has been on hold 2 weeks and there is noone to help they just keep saying we will send you an email.

Just an overall terrible and outdated website never go on this website unless you absolutely have to. I could name over 10 apps and websites that do 100 times better than this terrible site. It will be just a memory in a few years.

This "Service" is complete garbage!

I thought that this was going to be good at first. I used this "service" to transfer money from my personal account to a joint account that I have with my wife for bigger bills. They did pull through, with a PHYSICAL check, but what ever it was only a minor annoyance. Then two days later they hit my account with the withdrawal again, after the original check amount had been removed... A very unfunny April fools joke. Then they returned the amount AFTER my bank had hit me with an over draft fee. And I was mad but I like to think the best of people, so I moved on... UNTIL they did it again the day after, only this time I was in the negative all weekend long. They again returned the money, but I had enough and called my bank to issue a block order on this yo-yo of a check... best part is once I did that, they pulled the original amount out of our joint account.

As other reviews have said I sat on hold over the phone for 45+ minutes each time I call. The hold tone is super obnoxious too, but to be fair nothing sounds good when someone is f**king with my money.

I seriously think this is a SCAM. If your bank recommends them don't sign up. Wish I had read reviews on this dumpster fire before I did.

Two terrible experiences in a row

Two terrible experiences in a row with Popmoney and no one is willing to help me fix them. The first time I tried to transfer money, it worked fine. The second time, it would not let me log in with my prior credentials, which I had written down when I made the account, as I always do. I called and sat on hold for 50 minutes before hanging up, then sent an email to their support and never heard back. I gave up and created a new account. Then that account was put on hold...with no reason why or details given to me. So, I called again four different times. Each time, I sat on hold for over 40 minutes. Again, my email to support was unanswered. What in the heck kind of customer support is this??? Nonexistent, that's what.

Completely terrible

Completely terrible.
Had a coworker send me money via popmoney because he uses a tiny Credit Union.
Signing up was easy. As soon as I attempted to log in, it kept stating my password was incorrect... I just created the account!
I reset my password and tried logging in. Same response! Then it locked my account.
No one ever answers their phone. No one ever responds to email.

made a transaction

made a transaction. Got a note from financial institution it did not go through and would be redeposited in my account. PopMoney is a third party application. They never redeposited and my bank just refers me to them and I have called and spent over an hour on hold and never get in touch with someone, until I just gave up. My time is actually worth more than the money but there is a principle involved here. It actually seems like a scam.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Forever hold time. I saved my password and it's saying it's not valid/recognized. They didn't accepted the bank info for Bank of America. I asked to reset password and clicked on the link immediately upon receiving it but the link was expired. Nothing good to say here.

Popmoney works for our HOA

We run a small 10 unit HOA that has no shared common areas and popmoney.com works well for our owners & the board. Income from dues goes directly into our bank account and we have an exact record showing which owners have paid, how much, and the date it’s received. All this info shows on our bank statements which we publish on a private website for our records & owners to review. It would be difficult for us to operate without auto payments being received each month in such detail without popmony.

Popmoney is so bad they really need to…

Popmoney is so bad they really need to add an option to provide negative stars. I don't know how or why a financial institution would use their services because they DO NOT work. In addition seems they are just trying to track every transaction you make if you use multiple financial institutions. Having a single sign helps them to monitor all your funds but it's not why I am providing this negative review because everyone is trying to track folks by making you create a profile. The issue here is Popmoney profile doesn't work. It didn't allow me to link my bank account or debit card to my profile in order to receive the money I was rightfully sent. I had to have the person that sent the money contact their financial institution to have the funds reversed. Mind you this entire process took around 14 days.

I signed up through my first flight…

I signed up through my first flight credit union. It is slower than the pony express. I made the transaction on 11-05-21and as of 11-8-21 funds had not arrived. I also was charged 1.00 fee. I thought this was the electronic age. Never again. They said it would take 3 days to complete the transfer. My bad. First Flight should drop them from their website. Just received an update. The money is suppose to deposited on the 11th. So instead of 3 days it has taken 7. I never knew electronics worked so slowly.

Popmoney Stall Tactics

I'm a recipient of funds collected by Popmoney. I signed up with Popmoney and filled in my bank's information. However the response from Popmoney popped up stating that my bank's account information was entered wrong. I tripled check, check again and again and my bank's information was entered correctly. Popmoney wouldn't accept my bank's information so I could request the deposit of funds. Also their cust.
service representative told me that Popmoney doesn't do business with
Bank of America (my bank) so I have to open an account at another bank. Ohhh, strange, huh? Another stall tactic when everything else fails for them...change my bank! Popmoney wants to use every trick in their books to hold on to everyone's money so they can earn free interest on other people's funds....or???? Do not do business with this
service.

Disatisfactory Customer Service!

Worst customer service I have experienced...stayed on the phone waiting for almost an hour to get help with a problem. They never answered. I worked with my Credit Union for three days to get POP MONEY to stop a payment after the recipient could not access the crappy App.
Was charged a Stop payment fee, even when on the website it goes against their Guidelines. My C.U. refunded my money.
I will NEVER do business with them again.

Pathetic Service !!

Pathetic Service !!

For the past 5 months or so, I have used Popmoney twice a month (only because it is the Service that The American Airlines Federal Credit uses - shame on them !!)

The last few transfers have been troublesome, money does not arrive when it supposed to

This time, I tried the expedite (paying $2 fee) and th emoney is still not with my recipient

Tried calling the Support phone Number - waited 20 minutes and then I hung up, could not wait any longer

I have missed my payment deadline

I would not use PopMoney again

Yesterday I went to my bank institution…

Yesterday I went to my bank institution and made a big complaint about what was happening to me with my untrasfer money to my niece and they told me that Popmoney will return my money on 3 days, reducing my waiting time on 9 days less. However they did my money return on 24 hrs after that,
So,the game is over. Finally.

This site is ridiculous

This site is ridiculous. A family member sent me money using this site. I have just wasted a ton of time trying to set up an account so I can deposit this money. First, I get a message that my profile has been placed on hold, then it won’t let me deposit the money sent to me because it says my bank account is invalid, which it is not. I re-entered it like 10 times & keep getting the same message. Wish my family member just used Apple Pay. If this isn’t resolved tomorrow, I’ll request he cancel the transfer and send the money by Apple Pay. So frustrating! Update: I have tried calling their customer service several times now & always get a message to call back later or hold. I have held for over 45 minutes twice now with no end in sight. No option for a call back from them. This does not seem like a legitimate site. I caution anyone trying to use this site.

Worst customer service I have…

Worst customer service I have experienced. When there is a problem, you are asked to call 877 675 6378. Someone does answer but all they can do is tell they will contact another group who will investigate the issue and get back to you WITHIN A COUPLE OF BUSINESS DAYS. There doesn't seem to be any way to talk with anyone who can directly address the problem. Two calls, two actions and I am still waiting to hear if that is all I need to do.

I haven't been this frustrated with a website in a long time. I'm so frustrated that it motivated me to write a review.
The website is so bad, it feels like a scam. It won't run in Chrome, I spent 30 minutes trying to add a bank account and couldn't do it. I gave up.
I'm asking the sender to find another way to send me money.

Predatory company

Predatory company. Use anything else - Zelle, Paypal, Square, Venmo! Terrible site. So difficult to create an account You really expect people to page through decades of single month pages to enter their birthdate on mobile? Who designed your site, a three year old? Then when you finally get over the hurdle of creating an account, it tells you your account is "restricted" with no explanation, When you try to add a bank account to receive the money that was *already sent and is in their hands*, they say "oops, sorry, check that information". I checked it, it's absolutely correct, and you are holding on to our money so you can make a buck, with no recourse.

Popmoney put the money in someone else's bank account and then said they couldn't do anything about it. I'm out the money and the intended person is out the money and popmoney wont do anything about it.
