BUYERS BEWARE

Purchased a commuter backpack in june 2024, within a month the zip jammed and the other wouldn't zip anymore. found it in my cupboard the other day, after contacting them previously with no reply I tried again to wait 2 weeks for a reply and for them to tell me that due to their 90 day policy they wouldn't replace it but could offer me a discount on another product. why would I buy anymore products from them when they treat their customer so badly

Wonderful Back Pack

The back pack that was ordered began to show signs of wear within the 90 day allowable period. After contacting customer service, a new back pack was shipped out. Poppy and Peonies carries great products. Love the vegan leather and their customer service is exemplary.

Good bag but shipping needs more consideration

After several months of seeing this bag come up on social media I decided to ask for one for Christmas. I received the go-getter bag which exceeded my expectations for a work bag. The reason for my 4 star review is solely due to the packaging. Due to how it was folded, there is a severe crease mark that im unable to fix. With it being a work purse I dont see it as a huge deal but would have returned if it were my everyday bag.

If I could leave a zero I would

If I could leave a zero I would. Got a quilted bag for Xmas. Asked company to exchange colour. Just wanted black instead of brown. Struggled for 4 weeks to get hold of anyone. Nobody on chat. Got only one curt response saying although they had the receipt of payment I would have to pay shipping both ways and the difference between full price and what the person gifting it had paid. They said the sale price is only honoured once and not with exchanges. I asked for clarification on a simple exchange instead of return and no one has responded. This is a horrible company to deal with and I’m not happy with the quality of the bag. Stay as far away from this company as you can. Support a different indigenous business.

Terrible Customer Service

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. Their website says you can chat with someone Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm, but there's never anyone available. Then it asks you to send an email and they will respond within 1 to 3 business days.
It's been 7 business days and still no response from them. Absolutely terrible.

My wife has several bags from Poppy & Peonies. I bought her a work bag for Christmas and a crossbody. I mistakenly added two of the same bag to my cart. Within minutes of submitting the order, I realized and emailed customer service. They responded saying "sorry! Can't fix it.
You'll have to return once you receive the item." Since then, I have emailed them SEVERAL times regarding the return and no one is responding, and a few of the emails were returned as not good, even though I got them from their website this has been going on since the end of December! I even tried called a few times, but they’re too busy avoiding people and direct you to the website. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Difficulty returning a Christmas gift that is the wrong size

On Christmas day, I attempted to start the return process, with the correct order number, however a return label would not generate. The website noted I could contact their customer service email in order to receive a return label. I have sent 5 emails, called the P + P Ontario head office phone number at 1-705-937-8900 and tried to use the chat, but it is always offline. 3 weeks later, I can't return the bag without a return label and no one from P + P will respond to my multiple messages.

The company should hire more employees in their customer service department.

Customer service is atrocious.

I gobestlybhave always like Poppy and Peonies. Unfortunately I had a problem that needs solving I have written the multiple times leaving plenty of time between to answer and no one has bothered to answer or gelp me problem solve. Im really disappointed in their customer service.

Terrible Company

Terrible! I received a bag for Christmas and it's already falling apart. I have sent 5 emails over the course of a week and no response. The chat only tells you to contact customer service and there is no phone number. I just want the money back!!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Purchased a bag, and it took over a month to ship. When it finally did, they said there was an issue with my delivery address (the delivery address was all correct) and sent it back without contacting me. I emailed the company multiple times in late December and still no response.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! I bought a $160 backpack that took nearly a month to receive and didn’t arrive in time for the birthday gift that it was for. Also have issues with the backpack and they will not respond to emails to facilitate a return and their chat service is never connected and no phone number to call. By far the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I will absolutely never purchase anything from Poppies and Peonies again. They got me once but never again.

This company treats their customers very badly

Tried to cancel my order the minute after I placed it and was told they ship ‘in real time’ and couldn’t cancel. Tried their on line chat but no one ever available. Sent emails that were completely ignored. Will never purchase from them again ! Rotten nonexistent customer service

First and last time I will purchase…

First and last time I will purchase from this company. Their customer service is horrible. I tried returning items from my purchase and the return function told me to contact customer service. I emailed and received a form letter response quoting their return policy, which states what the "don't" accept for returns. My purchase was outside of their "don'ts" and therefore should be accepted as a return. Crickets since I outlined that in a follow up email to them. If you are going to purchase from them, be prepared to eat the cost of the item if you don't like it.

I like the products and the styles of the products. However, the customer service is terrible. I hope they get it together because this can kill a company. They are slow to get back to a person and they are not willing to help customers about issues with their products, delivery, or ordering issues. I have tried for days and days to reach customer service. You can only reach them through emails cause the chat bot says they will transfer to a human but never does. They do not reply to your emails this has been several times over 2 weeks. Useless company if you can even talk to anyone to discuss an issue. Avoid if you think you might need assistance post buying a product

Worst Customer Service

Ordered the Downtown Black Crossbody with the matching wallet! I received a blue wallet instead! The only way to contact them is via email or chat (which is never open)! You spend days talking to a robot with no resolution! I’ve emailed them over 5 times now and reached out on this chat thing as well! I want the wallet I ordered and paid for! I am going to have to dispute the charges at this point! I love the bag and love the products but the communication and customer service for this company is absolutely ridiculous and pathetic!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, only an email address or chat bot. No actual number to call. I have been trying to return a purchase that was a gift. When I reached out via email, the only way to correspond with company, I was provided with a very short email providing an address for return. No return label provided. The purchase was international as I am is the US. I need a phone number to complete the return and cannot get in touch with anyone to provide me the necessary information to compete return. In addition the return cost $36. This has been a very dissatisfying and disappointing experience. I will not be buying from this company again and I would advise others against it unless the customer service improves.

Terrible service

I've been waiting since December 15 and still have not received my order. There is no updates online from the shipping company and one reply to my email telling me that I should be expecting the order soon. This is the worst experience I have had ordering online. Buyer beware

Buyer beware! Poppy and Peonies does not stand behind their product beyond 90 days after purchase. Like many reviews I have now seen, my Sidekick crossbody’s zipper no longer functions after less than a year of wear (8 months). The zipper split and will no longer zip up. This is after normal use and not overstuffing my bag. Conveniently my Go Anywhere wallet’s clasp popped out around the same time and I tried putting it back in but it pops out every time I unclasp it. The ends are intact.
Obviously very poor craftsmanship in their products.
I emailed customer service and of course I was met with nothing can be done since it’s beyond 90 days since purchased and was offered a 25% discount.
If you want a product that lasts 90 days then their products are for you, otherwise steer clear.
