My dog has among other things severe IBD. The vet had put him on a perscription diet and he utterly hated it. He is a nightmare at the best of times and has spent a huge part of his life scoffing steak, lamb, chicken etc as trying to get him to eat dog food (and I have tried LOADS) is a nightmare. He just hates it and quite frankly when you see what is in them you can't blame him. I was feeling quite despairing to be honest as despite being on steroids and B12 injections he continued to have runny poos and lose weight. His fur was thin and patchy and he had leg weakness and was struggling to stand. I decided to put him on Poppys Picnic and within 3 days his poos were coming out solid (a bit soft but solid). No smell. He seems to utterly love the mince you can heat up and waits in the kitchen for it. He likes the raw food too so I buy him both plus the sprinkles. I have noticed this week (he has only been on it for just shy of a week) he is bouncing with energy and whereas his tummy is still a bit gurgly I am feeling so hopeful. He is still producing quite alot of volume of poo and so I am hoping that will become less as his tummy gets better. To have found a food that is good for him, that he likes and wants to eat and is helping him recover is nothing short of a miracle. Dylan and Poppy I could kiss you!
P.S. Food delivered quickly and 95% frozen and the one at the top which had started to defrost I just popped in the fridge and used first. Perfect

Avoid this company! I placed my second order on Tuesday evening which should have been dispatched Wednesday morning. Today my order should have been arriving with me yet I woke up to an email stating my full order had been cancelled and refunded with absolutely no explanation as to why. Upon contacting customer service they stated my order was cancelled due to it being “fraudulent” as I’d used a discount code on 2 orders which isn’t allowed (this was not stated at checkout). After asking why I wasn’t made aware of this the day before when my order should have been dispatched, they avoided giving an answer.
I don’t have a problem with the fact a discount code can’t be used twice, its the lack of contact explaining this, which could have resolved the issue the day before and I could have still had a delivery of dog food today.

I have a cavalier which are notoriously fussy eaters and mine was no different. After trying several types have found that while my dog may prefer human food, I prefer the complete raw foods to ensure she receives the proper nutrition. I love that I can cook this food so if she is being particularly fussy (not eating for three or four days), I can offer it cooked and she'll eat it. I love the handy size of the meatballs too. My dog seems to prefer her food at either end of the temperature scale so I can pop the meatballs in her dish and 30-40 minutes later it is ready to serve. Much more hygienic than having raw dog food defrosting in the fridge overnight. If it needs heating, it's great to know she'll not be hurt by any bone but still receive all the calcium she needs.

Agree with previous comments about Scottish discrimination classing people that live in Aberdeenshire as ‘highlands’. Nothing annoys me more than this excuse. We have had previous raw deliveries from DPD with no issues so Poppys Picnic clearly can’t be bothered. It doesn’t cost any more so why not do it?
They say it’s clear enough on the website but it’s not - We deliver next day to most of the the UK. Some highlands and islands postcodes will be excluded from this and may take a while longer. If you live in one of these harder to reach areas call us to find out more and the additional charges.
At what point does this say we don’t deliver?
Any normal website wouldn’t let you check out if they can’t deliver, no Poppys Picnic just take your money and tell you when you chase up delivery that you’ll get a refund with no apology.
Rude customer service would not recommend to anyone. Highest rated food, lowest rated service.

Poppy's Kitchen food comes packs in styrofoam and plastic.
My dog developed skin allergies after eating Poppys kitchen food.
There is no option to return the food (despite being told there would be)
I contacted customer service and recieved no help or compassion for my dog's situation. Extremelly poor experience.

AT LAST, my fuss pot of a dog is lapping up Poppy's picnic meatballs. Over the years we have tried all different dog foods and he wasn't too keen. I saw the meatballs in my local Asda, at just under 4 quid i had nothing to loose. Man alive, he loved them, lamb is his favourite. I lightly cook them for him and he can't get enough. They are perfect as they can be given raw or cooked. Unfortunately the freezer for the dog food has been empty at my Asda so i placed my first bulk order direct from Poppy's website. The items came well packaged and still frozen. I even received a freebie packet of fish sprinkles amd he loves this too. Thank you Poppy's picnic for making my pooches mealtimes perfect

Olive just loves her raw food. Her gut health, skin and overall health is fantastic, which I'm convinced is to do with the quality of her food. Poppy's Picnic delivery's are always on time, easy to change update and the quality of the whole process is flawless.

Easy to order. This is the first food that Luna has eaten eagerly and she's 3 and a half now. Will definitely be ordering again.

Customer services have a stinking attitude. Sent out an email for 40% off limited time discount, with nothing in the fine print to state if it could only be used on certain items. Filled my basket, went to checkout only to find the discount code invalid. I emailed to ask if the code is for certain items only, to be told it’s only actually valid on a packet of treats. Weird, seeing as there is no mention of this in the email - but okay.
I have since had an issue with the delivery of another order, so emailed to ask about whether the food was still okay to be fed. I have to say I was only looking for advice, I wasn’t rude in the slightest. I received a rude reply which didn’t even answer my query.
Also unsure why ordering from Poppy’s Picnic direct (£4.15 for Mighty Minces) is more expensive than buying from an Asda Stockist (£3.85)?

Oh dear, if there was an option to give minus stars I would be checking them. This company took my order and money, then told me three days later, that they don't send to my area ( Highlands, Scotland). We get discriminated enough up here, but there was no information on their website that even stated this. Other companies from the south coast can supply us up here: why do you think you are so special?
My cat has to have a raw diet, and although this company was recommended, they still can't send anything to me. My cat is now waiting on any food arriving. This is abysmal and it's clear postal discrimination against folk in the north. Bet you supply Devon and Cornwall easily enough.
So, utterly useless and that's before the meals, so I have little faith that they were any good.
EDIT: This company even had the cheek to tell me via email, that suddenly they do deliver to the Scottish Highlands! Please make your minds up Poppy's Picnic !!!!
Now suddenly they don't deliver to the Scottish Highlands !!! Discrimination right there. Please avoid this awful company, or use at your peril if you live in their 'discrimination zone' .
Have a great day Poppy's Picnic.

I received a 40% off voucher via email . This voucher clearly states off your next order . I tried to use this order but the code came back as invalid so I emailed customer service . The lady was very abrupt and said this was only valid for super sprinkles .
I emailed a screen shot of the email and code and got a reply back saying as stated it’s for super sprinkles ?
Now the lady has changed it to it says baby come back? No matter how many times they try and get around the email it clearly stated come back baby get 40% off your next order if ordered within 48 hours . They refuse to honour this email. . If I could attach screen shots then I would .
Their reply to this is also untrue , nowhere on that email was any of their reply stated , not even in the small print . If you look on instagram and their Facebook reviews I have tagged them and added all their replies and included the email they have sent .

I received a marketing email from poppys picnic with a 40% off code if I order within the next 48 hours. I went to place an order almost immediately but at checkout the code said invalid, I contacted customer services through the live chat as stated on the email if I had any issues. The lady I spoke to was very blunt, unhelpful and rude. She ignored me and my questions and just kept saying the code was invalid if I had ordered in the last 5 years, this wasn’t stated in the email or in any small print.
