PopSockets Reviews 101

I used to order from PopSocket all the time and they were very reasonably priced. Now, I find that I need to spend nearly £25-30 for a single pop socket even though I don't want a MagSafe option. They also charge a ridiculous amoung of shipping to the UK now. The last time I ordered one with them, the artwork eas scratched off in a matter of weeks. Extortionate pricing with rubbish quality.

I ordered a ToG pop socket and case. A few days later I was refunded, when I checked why the customer service said it was out of stock and offered me 30% off my next order. Great! I ordered another (different) pop socket and case. Same thing happened. I spoke to customer service and said I was willing to try again and asked for the 30% code, they said they couldn’t give me this and gave me a standard £30 discount, which wasn’t near the 30% but stupidly I ordered another set, not realising that it was lower. I haven’t received this order yet, it’s already late. They need to fix their UK shipping, or just don’t offer it. Gutted because I wanted the ToG set.

Made in China junk from a supposedly "American" company. Flimsy and cheaply made the pop grip is trash. Took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Save your money and order from a genuine home grown business

I'm based in the UK and placed an order on the 27th November. So far it hasn't materialised. Popsockets customer service have said it is presumed lost but they won't send a replacement for international orders so promised a refund. I spent £39 and they have taken a further week to refund me £19.50, which hasn't even hit my account yet. I am sure that previously Popsockets had a UK presence and nowhere on the website was it made evident that the order would ship from the US. It feels deceptive and utterly exasperating. I would not recommend buying from Popsockets, which is a shame because their products are really good.

Don’t order from them at all if you are based in the UK. Ordered a case and pop socket and got quick tracking link but didn’t update for days so chased by email. Told to contact again in 5 days. No tracking updates again so emailed and told parcel must be lost in mail and can’t resend international orders so refunding me with a 20% off voucher. Am now waiting on refund for order and this is two weeks since I first placed the order. Have lost all faith in this company and it feels like a scam so they can hold your money for a couple of weeks and send you nothing. Absolutely awful and I will not order from them again. Shockingly bad in every way. Not sure what’s happened to them as they used to be decent.

A company has been issuing IP complaints against small Etsy shops for artwork that is completely original and doesn’t infringe on anything. It’s strange behaviour and unfair to independent creators who work hard to build their shops.

Order arrived quickly and exactly as it should be, items are really nice quality. Only annoying thing is there was no dispatch or tracking information supplied for my order.

Ordered over a week ago and haven't received a tracking email. Sent an email to customer service with no reply no order tracking, nothing. It shouldn't take a month to receive a phone case. No number to call them either.

I have always been a fan of Popsockets and I remain so. I have many of their items and I appreciate their quality, but my goodness the customer service is abysmal.

I recently bought a MagSafe popsocket and after waiting the full time for delivery, I contacted them to ask where my item was. I hadn’t received a tracking email and they said it must have been lost in the post. I believe it hadn’t been sent. After I requested a follow up, they contacted me to say I’d have to confirm my address and resend the item. So I replied and they arranged a delivery. This time I received a tracking email.

Eventually the item arrived after another lengthy wait. I contacted popsocket again to ask why it was taking so long but this time no reply.

Just seems a bit rubbish in this day and age. It’s not the end of the world, but the experience wasn’t one I’ll repeat. The service used to be much better… meh.

The website doesn’t let you order custom MagSafe grips, says there is no quantity yet doesn’t tell you it’s sold out. Contacted and got no response. Why advertise something you do not have.

So I ordered from the website (UK) and had I read the reviews before I wouldn't have.
Everything was fine and arrived on time until I opened the package. One of my (total 4) items was missing.
At this point it's usually straight forward, an email or phone call but no. I sent in the form and waited 3 working days as suggested - no reply. So I hunted down an actual email address - no reply.
After that I decided I'd message on social media in a private chat both insta and face - no reply.
Either because someone read a message or perhaps by chance of delay; mysteriously the money was refunded for the 4th item into my account.
I still have had no response aside from my money back. As much as I'm glad, I'd go as far to say that customer support is dreadful and seemingly non existent. So no, don't trust them, if you do you might not get what you ordered or your money back but you definitely won't get a response.

I was a bit hesitant to order direct from Popsockets after reading the reviews. I usually buy from Amazon if I can, but I couldn’t source a particular Popsocket from Amazon or anywhere else. I really wanted it, so decided to take a chance ordering direct with Popsockets, especially since they offered me a discount code for my first order, which saved me more money than if I had ordered from Amazon. Well I’m so pleased with my order, which arrived today, 6 days after my order. Popsockets sent me emails regularly throughout the last 6 days to notify me of every step of my order’s progress. I also got notified by Evri when they got my parcel, and when they are out for delivery. I recommend you get the Shop app to keep track of the delivery progress too. I did and it all worked seamlessly with my Popsockets order. And when my order arrived, everything looked and functioned just as I expected and I’m so happy with the quality of the products. It was delivered by Evri but we do have quite a decent Evri service where we live. So my advice is to order from Popsockets direct if you live in an area with decent Evri service, because you won’t be disappointed. I’m such a big Popsockets fan I have already ordered 4 Popsockets in the space of a month. I really need to control myself lol These products are amazing and they are so creative with what they come up with!

Charged for an item that they cancelled, without letting me know they cancelled it.
When I questioned it, they assured me that I won't be charged for it. However they did charge me £70 for it and I have since sent 5 emails with no response from Popsockets.
Ridiculous really.

Honestly some of the best customer service I have ever received. They reply promptly and replaced a product for me without issue.

The case seems fine and the pop socket is useful for my iPhone 16 pro max. However the wristlet is attached to a bit of plastic at the bottom of the case which looks ugly, it’s also very big so doesn’t really sit on the wrist and can’t adjust it. The one one I had discreetly stuck out some holes in the side and was adjustable, much better. Wasted my money on the suction mount, it’s just abit of sticky plastic and falls down if I put my iPhone on it, annoying for 30 quid do not buy these!!

I ordered their new Kick-Out Grip on the 6th. I didn't get any tracking updates until the 13th, when the courier received it. Unfortunately, the courier ended up losing my parcel.

I reached out to Popsockets support, and they responded within 2 working days, refunding me and giving me a discount code for a future purchase, since they didn't have stock to re-send me the product.

Overall, I'm giving 4* because of the wait between purchasing and the courier recieving it where I didn't receive updates. However, I appreciate the CS responding quickly to resolve my issue.

Ordered 2 items, but they didn't deliver the entire order. After contacting them twice with a slow response, they informed me that my delivery had already been made. Reminding them again that they didn't deliver the full order, they told me that one part of the order could not be delivered because it's out of stock. Great news when you specifically ordered a matching set. Would never buy here again.

Popsocket are amazing! Genuinely their cases are affordable compared to other brands, protective, nice colours and I love the popsocket. Customer service is also 10/10

I agree. Their return conditions are too strict. And the customer service only replies once a day. I had to exchange 6 emails before I found out the item I got is not returnable. I still believe the item is defective. And the edge of the Popsocket started to peel after 3 days. What a scam. Total waste of money. Don’t buy.

My first ever order & it was expensive, I’ve just been delivered an empty envelope that looks like it’s been stood on.
I’m so disappointed with this.

Editing my original review;
Horrible initial experience with popsockets my order turned up as an empty envelope after paying almost £75.
I had to complain to popsockets on social media and leave comments on posts to get a response.
The lady I think she was called Zana fixed the issue for me by sending a repeat order, it’s taken a long time to arrive but it’s decent quality and I love the case.
2 stars overall because it wasn’t a nice experience but I did get my order eventually.
