This company is run by professional scammers! We got recommended by a kitchen company (will not say their name for now) in the Wimbledon area to go and see this company as they were around the corner. We contacted them by email, and they confirmed their showroom is only open to customers by appointment. This is the address of their showroom:

Worktops - Clay Surfaces. Hub 1, Unit 29
Wimbledon Stadium Centre
Riverside Road London,
SW17 0BA

Interestingly, if you search for Porcelainworktopsuk in google maps you won't find anything

We got to the showroom, which doesn't have anything related to Porcelainworktopsuk in any of their signs, maybe another red flag....

After seeing some of their slabs, we agreed to move forward and pay a deposit of about £2k. At the time of paying, we didn't notice 2 red flags. The payment recipient uses a different name to Porcelainworktopsuk. One payment to Shark Design Interiors LTD and another to Innovative Design LTD.

After the payments were done, they were a nightmare to deal with. We asked multiple times for a change of installation date. They promised to get back to us by email, which they never did. They argued they were a family ran business and sometimes they were delayed getting back to customers....

The day they came measure our kitchen was another red flag. The guy named 'Ali' with Syrian origin didn't have a clue about our project and design, he was asking all sort of questions like how many slabs, etc when in principle everything was already agreed with them. He was even taking measurements with an old meter!

On the date they confirmed for installation they never showed up. They sent us some whatsapp messages that they were running late, then they had some issues with the machine which needed to be fixed, and eventually they never called us or texted to confirm their availability

Having now read this review about quartzworktopuk realize they are likely behind the same business scam who operates behind many shell companies with many different scam websites
