Poshmark sucks
I will not be using poshmark anymore as I just sold a bag that clearly had photos of the wear and tear and the buyer said it was not ans pics were not clear.. This buyer made an offer I didn't accept and she purchased anyway without asking questions or anything. I even msgd PM and let them know the listing was correct in a small way the bag did look like new mostly a few light stains on inside but nothi g major.. PM accepted return and now I wait cuz buyers do this complain about a purchase send it back but only thing is they don't send it back they get money back and free item.. I will be videoing me opening her return to make sure I receive the item back. Poshmark sucks and I will close my account once I receive item if I do.. Ebay, mercari, others have better reviews and are better customer service
I lost my confidence as a buyer
I lost my confidence as a buyer. I recently purchased a bag and the description says it only has light wear and discoloration, but when I received the item, I noticed that one of the zipper pulls was missing and the seller failed to disclose it. Poshmark denied my return request and told me the item was not misrepresented in the listing, and to ask any pertinent questions before making a final purchase to avoid future mishaps.
I have been a seller on Poshmark for 8 years
I have been a seller on Poshmark for over 8 years. It is very seldom I have an issue but lately customer service at Poshmark is nearly non existent. I have sent several requests and I swear a bot is responding because it goes right over their heads. Like they never really read the issue I need addressed. Their response is out of left field. Poshmark recently suspended my account because I had two recent sale cancellations. I have an excellent track record with Poshmark but that doesn’t account for anything. They told me if it happens again I will be suspended for two weeks. Huh???? Poshmark has become a disgusting platform to sell on. I’m retired with a great pension, seriously don’t need their petty crap. I did this to stay busy. Beware to anyone looking to sell on this platform. They have become a disgrace and a disgusting company.
Reps dont answer the questions
The only way to contact is through email, but the reps do not read your message and only send generic unrelated responses.
Poor Quality, Poorer Service
I ordered a custom shirt for my husband. The logo listed on the site was small, appropriate and very professional. The shirt I received had a DINNER PLATE sized logo and it was bent and wrinkled all to heck. It was DISGUSTING. Plus the material was cheap. I reported it to the seller who told me to pound sand. I reported it to Poshmark and had to FIGHT for a refund. I got the refund, they got their POS shirt back. I will NEVER EVER order from them again and I highly suggest that NO ONE EVER order from them again!
Buyers beware of Poshmark
I Purchased what was described as vintage blown glass hollow stem champagne glasses to use at my wedding. I received low quality machine made glasses. When I asked for a refund my request was denied. There is no person to talk with about customer service . Buyers beware ! This website is selling low quality merchandise and once you have paid for it you will NOT get a refund.
Trap of scammy business practices
The company is a trap of scammy business practices.
I purchased from a seller who was solid - the item sent as promised, condition as described. This review is not about that seller.
In the meantime the Poshmark started spamming me with dozens of emails. Request to "rate" the purchase lands onto the "News" page, instead of actual ratings. Getting to rating the seller is not straightforward.
Turning off spam through the company unsubscribe page takes 5+ minutes of scrolling. I gave up and reported them as spam to the email provider. (Their email sender will punish them for sending spam if enough people do that.)
Poshmark does not backup sellers
I posted an item for sale along with pics of the item. Buyer received and said one embellishment was missing. There were no embellishments missing. Buyer requested to return it and Poshmark approved. So even though I posted pics which is proof the bag had no missing embellishments, now I get my bag back with a missing embellishment. That is not right. Why doesn’t Poshmark back sellers when there is photo proof of the item that is for sale.
We mailed never used handbag in perfect…
We mailed never used handbag in perfect condition to a customer. They received it and said a rhinestone was missing off the bag. Poshmark approved their return of now a damage bag. Even after we sent pictures it was in perfect condition. Terrible experience. They don’t back up their sellers at all. Now we have damaged product being sent back to us.
Return not authorized
I bought a fleece hat marked one size fits all. But when I got it, the hat was too small for me - and I'm a small person. The vendor messaged to say they were okay with my returning it. But Poshmark wouldn't permit the return, because they said the size was as described.
Customer service is horrible
Customer service is horrible. I received a piece of clothing that was listed incorrectly. I sent photos with a measuring tape next to it. Clear as can be and they denied my refund. Why advertise Posh Protect?
EBay on the other hand stands by there policy and makes the correct choices.
Sellers Avoid!
If you’re a seller don’t use this platform to sell!! It has high seller fees and zero customer/seller service! Poshmark is not on the side of Sellers!
Scammers
My girl went to Buy a purse from this site. And the seller ( sorry lost her name) accepted the pay pal payments then she somehow took the full payment then my girl asked her about it with no response. Just a general warning to all buyers these scammers are getting better and sneaking there way on the better selling sites. Once there’s a discrepancy in the texting, get out! You should notice. Ok but safe👍🏽🙏🏽
Been a seller decades and just tired of…
Been a seller decades and just tired of the buyer support but, treat sellers as if we don't help their platform bloom. I cancelled a few orders after never canceling. they restricted me in what they claim was 3 hours but, turned into 18 hours. Also, reinstatement came with threats to permanently ban me. Do whatever...the buyers are cheap with a high sellers fee. It pushed me back to Ebay and Depop.
Poshmark is TERRIBLE
Poshmark is TERRIBLE - for both buyers and sellers. I think due to lack of actual human customer service on both sides. I've bought and sold on Poshmark. As a seller, it's clear that Postmark absolutely does not care about the user experience. Constantly making changes to the platform, for the worse imo. For example, the latest change - switching photos from 1:1 format to portrait. Now all my listing photos are cropped all weird. On my PC, when I create a listing, I'm now forced to upload in portrait, but on my phone that listing still shows up in 1:1 and parts of the photos are cropped off - so janky for a platform that takes 20% commission. Sellers spend a lot of time/effort on these photos. Also, the shipping changes - I had all of my inventory stored and ready to ship in USPS Priority Shipping packaging - when they made the change I had to throw out/recycle all that packaging and transfer everything over to the new packaging. It takes time to learn a new system and I don't like that they throw a wrench into things without any intermediary solutions for a smoother transition.
As a buyer, I've received so many sub par quality items that now I only buy NWT now because otherwise you never know what you're going to get. Photos don't really tell the whole story, and many things that aren't new have been improperly laundered, shrunk, odors, stains, etc. So I buy NWT or from reputable 5 star sellers.
Buying gifts on Poshmark is not recommended !
This was my first experience with Poshmark and the item came in a reasonable amount of time. It was a Birthday Gift for my 6 year old grandson, a Lego set which cost me $125 and it came without the dinosaur. All the other pieces were there, but the dinosaur was not there. This is very upsetting to spend this kind of money and be ripped off! 😡
They should be sued and shut down
I don’t know how Poshmark is allowed to get away with this. They should be investigated and sued.
I’ve been cheated several times and Poshmark customer service won’t refund because 3 days have passed since the delivery.
They do not post negative reviews I left, only the positive reviews, so others don’t know the seller is a cheat or a fake. They automatically force you to “follow” others creating fake interest in a seller you know nothing about and don’t follow or endorse.
Poshmark allows sellers to cheat and then makes it difficult to hold them accountable. Prepare to lose your money, prepare for stress, and prepare to waste your money having to monitor everything.
Customer Service for Buyers is Non Existent
I have been selling & buying on Poshmark for awhile now. I reached out to customer service about a recent purchase (never have before) where I asked the seller upfront about sizing BEFORE she shipped the item. I reached out four times and she never responded but shipped the item. I got the top, it was way too small and it reeked of cigarette smoke. Now I know why she didn't respond. It was junk. Customer service said "oh sorry, unless it was misrepresented we can't do anything". She didn't disclose in the description it smelled terrible. So how is that not a misrepresentation? I'm sure it's because she's an ambassador and I am not.
I'm pulling my store off Poshmark and selling elsewhere. Their fees are terrible and shipping is outrageous.
I reposhed an item purchased from…
I reposhed an item purchased from Poshmark. The buyer said the Louis Vutton Sunglasses were fake and Poshmark agreed and refunded the buyer. I bought the glasses from Poshmark and they are refusing to refund my money for the same fake item, they said was fake. Poshmark is garbage. I’m deleted everything from the site and never using them again.
Poshmark used to be a good place
Poshmark used to be a good place for buyers & sellers. Since 2026, it’s no longer a place I want to do business. Now robots are sending suggestions rather than sellers you follow & trust. I just listed an item from a popular brand & it doesn’t show up when I search the brand. The changes they’ve made are terrible including no longer offering priority mailing. Now it takes forever to get a package! Poshmark has changed for the worse! Depop here I come!
