We decided to hire Position1SEO to help us clean up our website to get better Google rankings because they are one of the most well-known and affordable SEO service providers we could find.

Initially, the effort was focused mainly on making various alterations to the technical aspects of our website.
But they also came up with a detailed plan using a range of search engine optimisation techniques to boost the visibility of our company & the results were incredible.

They are easy to connect and collaborate with and have an amazing understanding of SEO. All of our communications with them were directed through Tracy who has helped us throughout the entire process & couldn't have been more helpful.

We couldn't be happier. Definite 5 stars.

Started out as a promising working relationship, but soon realised that we should not have fallen for the sales pitch. Jason is a very good "salesman", uses all the language to make you think they know what they're doing and that you are in good hands. Do not fall for this.

We asked Position1 to do our SEO, PPC and create a new website. A very big step for us after using the same team for many years. They had been doing our PPC Google Ads for about a month when we questioned how poor the account looked (this was on a Friday afternoon), by Friday evening they had made 310 changes to the account, mainly increasing budgets. (My feeling is they did this to try to make the account look in better health by the time they had to reply to us). By Monday morning we were £1000 down on Google Ads. Even after multiple emails advising how unhappy we were and asking them to stop all work on the ads, they took no responsibility whatsoever for this huge mistake. If were weren't already invested with the new website we would have left them then and there. They agreed to refund everything we had paid them for the PPC.

Whilst the SEO was fine, the blog posts were awful. Even if they were written just for SEO purposes to hit those keywords, we had to go through each blog meticulously and make so many changes to make it readable and factually correct.

They were getting on with the website, we were generally happy with it. Until they uploaded our customer data, causing an email to be sent to about 2000 of our customers informing them that their password had been changed. It looked like a scam or a phishing email. We lost customers and our reputation was damaged because of this. They tried to blame us for supplying incorrect information, this was 100% NOT the case, and once again they took absolutely no responsibility for it. We then told them we would not be working with them at all going forward.

This company should not be charging people for these services. They do not seem to have the right amount of knowledge to do the work properly. They are spineless when it comes to doing the right thing and admitting mistakes and have lost us money and customers.

Find another company.

I have a small retail shop Gertrude Fashions and I have been with Position 1 SEO for about one year and there work is amazing, they really help you in every aspect of driving your online business to generate sales, a great company. I went with another company about seven years ago and it was a disaster so I wasn't very positive when I went with position 1 SEO, but I could not be happier. Regards John Bowden.

Amazing SEO results, great work, expertise and communication!

We are a small business trying to break into a well established market with a new product and over the past few years have tried a number of freelance SEO 'experts' with no success or increase in traffic. We never previously signed up with larger established SEO companies as the initial investment was too high for no guarantee of results, companies such as Yell.com offer SEO but cannot guarantee improvements as part of the work and like most consultant services it's likely to be snake oil.

Personally, I'm quite a sceptical person and I had to convince two other people within the business who are more sceptical on web and SEO matters than me but the guarantee that Position 1 SEO offer allowed me to convince them and I'm delighted to say we made the right choice!

Upon the initial review, they advised ideally we would need to change the platform of our website and make big improvements to our layout and content. We still have more work to do to our site to make it the best it can be but over the last 4 months from when we started working with Jason and the team we have gone from ranking nowhere to having 60% of the key phrases we agreed upon on Page 1 of Google, including both Primary Targets and our traffic in the last week has started to climb.

For anyone considering working with them, with their guarantees on results and their past successes and the fact that their own website ranks very highly for SEO terms, I don't think there is another SEO company as good as them. Particularly for a small business with limited funds and sceptical mind sets I would highly recommend working with Position 1 SEO.

I would lastly mention that to get results like we have, I'm sure you will need to implement changes to your website, possibly the design and platform, we had to and it was a lot of work but in these changing times, where I cannot get meetings with clients, I needed to be on page 1 of Google and Position 1 SEO have delivered on their promises so far!

I'm a long term client and the work and results have always been excellent.

Position 1 have delivered everything they said they would on time every time & have even helped with advice and support on things that weren't really anything to do with SEO.

I'm not a big spending customer but I've used them for 2 different sites and both times they quickly delivered top of page 1 local rankings.

A great team of people & do anything they can to help.

I read another review here on Trust Pilot & felt it was so unfair I wanted to share my own experience with Position 1 SEO.

We're targeting a very competitive keyphrase with 50,000 searches a month and yet in just over 6 months, we have gone from unranked to Position 6 on Page 1.

We have never experienced any issues whatsoever with communication or anything else.

They work incredibly hard, give the best possible advice (even when it is to spend less) and nothing is ever too much trouble.

They even helped with the design of our pages at no extra cost.

The only small blip was when we hadn't hit the improvement they guaranteed for a couple of weeks but they did exactly what they said they would and worked for Free until we did a short time later.

Having been badly let down by a few other companies previously, I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

We came into contact with this company and spoke to Jason the owner just after the lockdown. Following conversations and promises made we decided to invest in this company with our SCO. With ourselves being a small business it was paramount to try and get this right at the first attempt in which all of the issues that they had raised and the fixes they promised seemed an opportunity too good to miss.

The package proposed was done after initial audit to the fundamentals of everything should been ironed out at this point in which we are looking forward to seeing our investment grow. The promise of them being the best in the business and partners on the front page of Google was one of the fundamental selling points from themselves

Unfortunately as time passed and deadlines with it some of the work has not been completed including the link building package which only half of this was undertaken and done. Some links on the site and also failed and had to be corrected.

Initial contact seem to be great when you need to speak to the people carrying out the work it seemed to be that the work is being outsourced abroad or you could get hold of the people fundamentally undertaking in writing the content.

Disappointed is an understatement as we great hopes that this would be a good partnership but subsequently with 4 September passing on the link building not submitted to ourselves we lost all hope and had to look elsewhere.
