Wanted to pass on a big Thank you to…

Wanted to pass on a big Thank you to Ivan and his crew at Car Fix Solutions in Evesham. They took my car in for repair.to the.passenger side of my car including a new wing. They turned the job round in two days and returned to me gleaming like brand new. All staff were friendly and obviously very professional. I would recommend them to any one needing a car repair 👌👍

PayPal Closed My Dispute Without Reviewing the Evidence

I am extremely disappointed with how PayPal handled my disputes. The decisions were based on incorrect assumptions and did not address the real issue, even though I provided documentation multiple times.
1. Seller refused to provide a return address
The core problem was simple: the seller would not give me a return address. Without it, I could not return the item or follow PayPal’s instructions. This was clearly shown in the evidence I uploaded, yet PayPal ignored it and denied the case because there was “no return tracking.”
2. PayPal linked my case to an unrelated chargeback
Multiple PayPal representatives referenced a completely unrelated card‑issuer chargeback for another merchant. My purchase was a Pay in 4 transaction with no chargeback. This error affected the outcome, but no one corrected it even after I pointed it out.
3. My Resolution Center activity was ignored
PayPal claimed I “did not contact them,” even though I:

Filed the dispute
Uploaded evidence
Submitted an appeal
Both the dispute and appeal were closed, and the system provided no option to reopen. I had no choice but to file a BBB complaint.

4. Denial does not follow PayPal’s own Purchase Protection
PayPal requires sellers to provide a return address and cooperate. This seller did neither. Instead of reviewing that fact, PayPal blamed me for not returning a package to an address that never existed.
Summary
I am not asking for special treatment—just a fair review of the actual evidence. Unfortunately, the automated process and repeated misinformation made that impossible. After weeks of messages and appeals, PayPal still has not corrected the record or reopened the dispute.
I hope this review encourages PayPal to improve how they handle cases where sellers block returns by withholding basic information.

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company. Says it deals with claim on 15 days but I’m still waiting after 6 weeks! All I get from them is it’s under review. Avoid this company

It was a marvelous trip to Maldives

It was a marvelous trip to Maldives. Spirit of Maldives Liveaboard. Dive- highs to mention Manta Night Dive, this is a must see experience, no words to describe it, several shark species, coral reefs and other underwater beautiful colorful fish, turtles and even octopus.
Kudos to our funny dive guide Joe, thank you for taking me to the best spots for better viewing; kike, Sul and Ana are great dive guides, Luka is a great manager. Asanga knew my footsteps walking up the stairs and meet me with my strawberry yogurt every night LOL. Adam had an enormous smile every morning when we got on and off the boat. But the grand prize goes to Abdullah from the Dhoni crew he went the extra mile assisting me with dive equipment and going into water (even my socks and dive boots due to my back condition), I will miss that noble smile. Captain MO best captain ever, thank you so much for your knowledge and expertise it was great to meet you. In general great Team Spirit. Thank you all for a great vacation! The only thing I would recommend, lower the spice on all the food.

Easy Jet

Easy Jet, baggage, you buy cabin baggage as per their requirements, posted online, you exit the country on one carrier with absolutely no issues. You come back in with a Easy Jet flight, you are charged twice for 2 bags , both cabin bags, one that fits into the reciprocal provided and other that was bought at the specified sizes which does not. You log a customer service request and are told you cannot get refund. It's a absolute disgrace, the time taken to come back to me regarding the complaint and the absolute lack of apathy that both the ground staff and the disappearing customer service call center staff have, a delightful end to a great holiday. Keep the money you have lost a customer never to fligh with easy Jet again. I'd prefer to walk.

My hot water heater would not turn on…

My hot water heater would not turn on (would not heat water). I checked and could not see that the pilot light was on.

So I called Foster Plumbing, Inc. A plumer showed up and fixed the problem in about 10 seconds. BUT charged me almost $300!!!

I complained, but he said her had not choice. It was Foster Plumbers decision.

This was UNETHICAL. Who would charge that amount with NO PRIOR indication that there was a MINIMUM charge. DId I say almost $300 for less than one minutes work??

Avoid this compnay like the plague. They only want to make as miuch money as possible and would NOT listen to my complaint.

There are many honest plumbers available. But Foster Plumbung, Inc is NOT one of them.

shanvi.store - fake website used for scamming people

Avoid buying from the website shanvi.store, the website is fake and used for scamming people. I purchased an item on this website in July 9th,2024 and it is August 14th, 2024 while I am writing this review. It is more than a month now and the product is not shipped and no reply from the support.

Avoid buying from shanvis.store website. You will lose your money and will never recieve the product.

Avoid booking Kiwi. Refunds hard to get!

Travelers should avoid booking with Kiwi.com if refunds for cancelled flights matter to you. I have been waiting for four months even after providing multiple emails from the aiine that they had already communicated with Kiwi to refund me based on the airline’s cancellation.
Another flight was cancelled immediately after it was confirmed and I had to go through the refund procedure and waiting game to get the money back for that one too.
Apparently Kiwi.com is just not interested in customer satisfaction!

Garage Door Repair

One of the two garage doors sounded sickly, so my research on who to call to fix this led to Friendly Garage Doors. Jordan turned up in good time and gave me the rundown on what needed fixing. One door needed immediate repair, the other could wait. Now that’s honesty on Jordan’s part.

Jordan pointed out a few other problems that will eventually need repair; there was no pressure to fix it now.

I decided to replace both garage door motors & assemblies purchased from a local retailer. One assembly unit fell short on advertised features (no fault of Jordan); this was a manufacturer problem!!! I was very unhappy paying for something that turned out to be near useless.

Jordan stepped up and gave me a discount on the job despite having nothing to do with the issue. He wanted a happy customer no matter what. And for that and the quality of Jordan's installation, Friendly Garage Doors has earned five stars. Well done!!

This is my 3rd attempt to get DPD's attention....
Clearly they do not care about their customers!

Apparently it's ok to charge customers' waiting for a parcel delivery, £40 for the privilege of collecting it miles away from their home, when their courier can't be bothered to deliver it and you've already wasted half a day waiting for them to arrive.

DPD you should be ashamed of yourselves!

I'm still waiting for you to respond to my 2 earlier attempts to get your attention (since I can't complain online on your site), we are now at the 3rd attempt and you still can't be bothered to get in touch to resolve your problem that would cost me a lot of money (£40) to travel to collect.

You can't even tell me the origin of the parcel, so I can contact the sender!

So congratulations!

You now win the 2023 and 2024 Bad Customer Service Award for courier services for not caring about your customers and not delivering their parcel unless they have a large amount of money to pay to collect it miles from where it should have been delivered.

That raises the question of...
What kind of couriers do you employ?
And what accountability are they subject to?

And finally.... when are you going to acknowledge and rectify the issue you have caused by actually collecting the parcel and re-delivering this parcel to me directly as per the sender's instructions (and payment) for your (alleged) delivery services?

I am waiting, DPD.....!!!

They dont even know if they are open or closed

My wife and I made the mistake of going here a little after 2 p.m. on a weekday. Five other people were sitting at the outdoor area where we went. My wife went to order. One waitress took the order and a waitress behind her said that no, they were not closed. As we were walking away the waitress who was going with the " no, we're not closed" faction came up to us and said they were open. We gave our order, a bowl of chips, which, according to the menu came with aioli, a lemon lime and bitters and a soda lime and bitters. We had to repeat the drinks 4 times before the waitress who clearly couldn't speak English well enough to do the job. After about ten minutes the chips came out, complete with 1/2 a ton of paprika which was not asked for. After about five more minutes a waitress { from the "we're not open faction"} came out to say that they didn't have any bitters. I am unclear why they did not have the brains to say this before. If they had we would have cancelled the order. This second waitress did not bother to ask if we wanted any water, let alone bring any. - that was left up to me to go and ask. I would have requested some had any of the waitresses from either faction had the courtesy or consideration to come past and check if everything was okay.

Florida Water Analysis does not imply…

Florida Water Analysis does not employ honest salesmen nor do they have honest info in their contract when selling their product. The warranty information in the contract states lifetime warranty but the written information received in the mail two weeks later states it is a limited lifetime warranty where I need to buy the filters from them and have no one else maintain the system but them to keep the warranty intact. In addition I was not informed I needed an electrical outlet outside. They ran a wire around my building to the front outdoor GFCI outlet which kept popping. The product is not made for outside where in their warranty info they state they are not responsible for wind, moisture or sun damage. I had a filter there before which was a single tank and did not require salt.I also had a metal shield placed over the parts susceptible to outside weather element damage. It did withstand damage from IAN where I lost my car and my ductwork. I thought it was a water softener and it was a water filtration system. The salemens did not explain the difference to me and left when I asked him to explain the products to me. I was doing my taxes when he came and I asked him to leave right away and he stood in the kitchen. He told me if I did not buy today I was not eligible for any of the bonus such as the soap package-etc. I was not planning on purchasing anything and here I did. Shame on me. I thought he was there only to test my water. The card I received in the mail did not state they were a merchant. I should have told him if he did not leave right away would call the police but didn't. I did not want a water softener system with two tanks buried in the ground poking a large hole in my weed barrier nor installing the tants wide part with the connections further exposed to the outside elements from sun and moisture damage. I did not want to have to buy salt for it. I told the salmens several times I could not lift anything and was always in therapy. On the contract there are only numbers and no explanation of the product. I asked him who made it and he said they did. I think this is incorrect. I have not gotten any info from the company after sending a certified letter asking for what the 5 tanks do under the sink for the osmosis system,etc. The contract stated a lifetime warranty-did not state any of these exceptions. My hibiscus tree died as well as not being informed that the conditioned water is not healthy for some flowering plants. I have proof from the post office that they received my certified letter asking for the manufacturing information. This is not right to me, I am not done exploring my options as of yet. I asked them to take it back right away where they refused. The product is not made to withstand the elements outside and the salesmen knew this where he did not inform me that the location is not a good match. It costs me more money to hire a lawyer than to get another system which is more reliable and fits my needs. I am looking forward to their response.

Experience of a Saga motor insurance claim

Agree totally with previous review about disastrous outsourcing of Saga motor accident claims. Appalling service. Made a claim on 17 December. Now 31 December. No information about where my car has been taken to. If it is repairable or written off. No hire car. ( I live in a rural area with no public transport). When I tried to telephone sometimes never connected or eventually connected then cut off. Promises that various outsourced companies would contact but never did.Have insured with Saga for many years successfully but now Saga seems to be a label for outsourced companies with very poor coordination and communication.

Barking up the right tree with Heather Alstead Designs.

I ordered a t-shirt from Heather Alstead Designs for my granddaugher with a toy poodle on it, which looked like their dog, Juno. It was absolutely lovely. The design was very cute and the little paws on the t-shirt sleeve with the letter 'J' on it was a lovely little touch. It was also personalised with my granddaughter's name and the dog's. The t-shirt material was soft and thick and of very good quality. I was delighted with this product. It was a cute and original little gift. I had to contact the seller because, due to Royal Mail strike action, it was late in arriving. I was given kind and helpful advice and I am glad to say it arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. Thank you. I have bought from this company before and their products are always excellent.
