Their website is truly trash. They decided that my package should go to Lapland, despite the address being correct. How can I fix this? Well, there is a laborious dispute mechanism where you enter everything about the sender and receiver and contents of the letter, package, etc. Only they don't respond to these. There is also their chat service. Which doesn't work. On any browser. I wrote a feedback to them that it doesn't work, but heard nothing back. I assume that the feedback part of their website doesn't function either.
So what do you have to do if *they* screw up? You have to call them. So 30 minutes on the phone at 2 euros a minute. So my package would have to cost 60 euros. Okay, fine, send it back you inbred idi0ts. Finland sucks.
Many ways to improve... listen to your customers
I feel the company does not take any responsibility on anything and always tries to move the case somewhere else even though the problems are clearly within their own services. Few examples; a packet has been purchased to be delivered all the way to home, but after it has gone through customs the postal service has decided to use letter as package type to have it delivered cheaper, without a tracking possibility. The letter gets lost, Posti does not admit they made any mistakes and I should contact the sender. If you have a package delivery from abroad, it might be stored in the local pickup boxes without you getting any information it has arrived due to Posti's service not understanding international phone numbers, after just three days it was sent back, although it should be stored for one week minimum for pickup.Why didn't they drop a note in my mail at least. Posti used to have an online customer service, although it was never any help, it was discontinued. There is no direct way to give feedback to Posti regarding services what I can find.

It was much better ten years ago, but even today it's not so evil. I would rate it about 4 stars.
Terrible postage service
Terrible postage service. Such BS. Forget sending something from Finland to the UK, I waited 10 days (7 working days) and now they tell me that there is an error in the detection of the parcel and that it will be delayed even further. It literally has not moved for an entire week when it was accepted into the parcel center IN FINLAND. They lost the parcel within the center and only bothered to look for it after a week.

Worst postal service ever. Let me tell you what they do, the company simply makes money while it can without delivering any promised services. If you want your parcel to be lost, they sure can make that happen.

Worst post office I've ever experienced. They send packages back before letting you know it has even arrived. Then you try to fix it and call them and they charge you 15 euros for listening to a menu and an answering machine. TERRIBLE
They shoudn't exist, or they should atleast try.

The single worst postal service in Europe - it doesn't do what it says on the tin, aka delivering letters and parcels. Ridiculously expensive too.
MOST RELIABLE POST SERVICE from my experience
Due to my passion to Moleskine notebooks and being a devoted user of their weekly pocket calendar notebook, I’ve ordered one from suomalainen kirjakauppa. This model was out of stock for a long while and it took me a long time to catch it back in sales and even longer to wait for them to send it. I’m having a seasonal job in Ruka now, so don’t have my own address here. I used the address of my closest friend in Kuusamo for delivery. When I received a message that a notebook had been delivered and we didn’t find it in a mailbox, I called to Posti with a complaint. Apparently, it was my mistake as I didn’t specify the address, giving just a number of the big complex of row houses (40 houses!). But I mentioned my friend’s name. We really were not hoping for my package to be found, especially as it was not post office’s fault. But on the next day my friend found it in her mailbox with detailed address on it (which I didn’t provide!). Having experience with different postal services in different countries, I must say I’m amazed! I’m terrible sorry for causing inconvenience to postal workers, but at the same time very very very grateful for being such a reliable service and really doing their best! Everybody can fail sometimes, but now I’m confident that Finnish Posti will never do it deliberately or without trying to fix it: considering a fact that they even fixed a recipient’s mistake, not theirs, just for the sake of having post delivered. Great job! Special thanks to a postal worker, I was on a phone with (unfortunately I don’t know her name) for being so attentive and helpful, and to a postman from Kuusamo on Louhi 2! Whoever you are - thanks for great service. Much appreciated.
Posti is improving a lot.
Posti improved a lot since my last review, so I will need to update this review accordingly. Last time I gave them one star, now they got 4 from me. Finally they have listened to their customers and their delivery drivers call customers for delivery, which was the most important for me.
Poor options when it comes to customer…
Poor options when it comes to customer service. They boast about a chat, but I cannot see it on any of their pages. Their telephone service requires a roughly 2 euro cost to call + normal fees, meaning the chat would most likely be the better option here.
Their netposti service, might be good, but I was unable to find out as it let me make a contract, so all my letters get sent electronic, but attempting to see anything regarding it, change of address or continuing register ends up in Person Not Found error. However it surely didn't have an issue starting the contract, which I thought would be no issue, since it seemingly doesn't see me, but it has succesfully devoided me of letters that I was expecting, so 1 part of the service at least works.
I am sure i've just had a bad experience, but in my eyes Posti works best if you just let them be, as trying to use their services will just hurl you down a rabbit hole.
I would rather get skinned alive and roasted like a turkey, than try my luck at their online services again.
