Rotten Customer Service

I ordered over $ 100 in food….they made a mistake because they had an item on their menu that wasn’t supposed to be there. So, I was sent something incorrect along with a note to ask Uber for a refund for that additional item. They wouldn’t refund. Will not use again. Scammy and rotten customer service.

DELIVERY THIEF

Omg! Why can’t we leave video reviews! This POSTMATES delivery lady delivered my food and took a picture….she then walked back to my house and picked up the order and ran back to her car and pulled off….ALL ON CAMERA ! And no refund!!!! Managers unavailable!!!! WTH
THIS IS BURGLARY! She stole from me!!!!!

Postmates Fraudulent Pick-up Process

I did a pick up order, only to realize it was for a different location. I immediately called the merchant and asked if they had made my food. The lady proceed to get my name and asked me what I ordered. I told her, and she stated several times she did not have my order. So, because I was already at the location of the one I thought I ordered from. I thought if they don't have my order then it should just cancel itself. So I then got food at the location I was at. I get home to see the order complete. So, I call Postmates, for NO customer service Christian to tell me they have guidelines and he will not refund the money because the merchant had made the food. I don't understand because when I called the merchant at 2:27pm they stated my order was not made. So, how could my order been complete at 2:07pm? Also, I ordered food elsewhere with the information that my order was never received by the merchant. But their guidelines, which are just that a guide! I explain what a guideline and rule is...he proceeded to state he will not refund my money, but he understands. I just called the merchant she did not complete the pick-up because I didn't pick it up. SO Postmates closed out my order and showed it as complete. Then refused my money back!! Fraudulent work!!!

Postmates and Gyro House Rip Off

Postmates and Gyro House ripped me off $10 on a small tabouli that was clearly priced $7. I was charged $17. Do note use Postmates or attend this restaurant. There are other restaurants that are honest.

Postmates and Red Lobster are THIEVES!

My displeasure with PM has been simmering for a long time, but I'm finally fed up. On 3/26, I placed an order with Red Lobster. A promo for BOGO free Cheddar Bay biscuits was offered, but not honored upon checkout. When I realized this, I canceled the order an HOUR & A HALF before it was scheduled to be delivered, yet they still kept $32.08 of my money. PM refuses to refund my money, or even explain the twisted logic they're using in order to keep it. Apparently Red Lobster is OK with this as well, since they supposedly received the funds. PM nor RL will ever see another penny of my money. A little info for those not aware: PM is now owned by Uber/UberEats, so it's their sticky fingers at the bottom of it all.

Postmates = Horrific Experience

Terrible company. Accepted an order and never delivered. I was charged full price and never received dinner for my family. Is this a scam?! Terrible do not use this service, use Grubhub or Uber eats platforms. Post mates is a scam or just a horrific platform. Sadly out $50. Save yourself.

It was Valentines night

It was Valentines night. I order from Postmates and want the driver to put it my hand. It was to arrive between 7:30- 7:40. My husband and I waited for a knock or doorbell. Got involve in a movie and then noticed the time as 8:15. Still no food. Went to check outdoors, it was very cold out, and found order by door. I checked app and it said was delivered at 7:15. All the food was ice cold and spoiled. Have written postmates 3 times with no answer. I have deleted their app as this would not of happened on GrubHub.

I've used Postmates for about 10…

I've used Postmates for about 10 orders, and I've been using Uber for years already. Recently, due to my sickness, I've been using Postmates for food delivery often. However, for the past three orders, all deliveries to me either had missing items or spilled tea. I took photos for the first two orders, and they refunded me. But now they're saying that I've already been refunded for two orders, and for the third order with the missing item, they're not giving me a refund. They even say it's my account's problem. I'm like, 'What? What are you saying, man? Be responsible man, if it is your fault you gotta refund man. Don’t play around with our customers’ trust on you. Business ain’t work like that man. Missing item when delivered to us, and you refused to refund our money back to us? Is that called steal?and lie to steal our money?

They been robbing me for year and over…

They been robbing me for year and over charging me pay attention to this company you will never get or be able to adress your isusse the say use the app that don't work. I have a 3 item order that worst 8$ each. 60$. I've chat and can't cause you will never get a supervisor or a corporate HQ. After 11 agent one said he notice that ive been over charge that 60 is now 17.47 but he can't change it or update the problem before I buy it. Which mean I'll have to do and waste all this time all over again without get this resolved. This company is own by uber and this is a monopoly in the state of Illinois. Chicago especially I'm now will to pursue legal action for all the money I've spend and didn't notice I be prayed on. Every time you use this service your price goes up. I want to buy a soda and show you it will cost me ten dollars. Here is some proof 17 dollar it cost for 3 uteam 8 dollars each but I'm charge 67 for the same items. DO the math. We are being rob. And no one can address this

Warning: Do not use Postmates!!!

Postmates has no quality control and horrible customer service when a mistake is made. Tonight I ordered food a requested “Onions & pico de gallo on the side PLEASE.” My husband will NOT eat anything with raw onions in it. The dish was delivered with raw onions completely mixed in, and my husband was unable to eat his dinner. I immediately went into the app to tell them it wasn’t what I ordered and uneditable, and they basically say “Tough s***!” They said “This order is ineligible for a price adjustment!” I went back and forth with them several times but they wouldn’t budge. So I’m done with Postmates/Uber Eats. I’ve been a pretty good customer, ordering almost weekly. I guess they’d rather lose customers than do what’s right and refund their mistakes.

i placed a order with kfc a 12p and they didn’t send me all my chicken i couldn’t even feed all my kids. the bag say two bag but they only gave one then i did the help on the app they said cause the receipt on the bag say what’s supposed to be they can’t do any thing. almost 50.00 for some chicken and i can’t even get all my chicken i don’t even care about the refund but i wanna feed my kids. i’m so tried of postmates for real.

Consistently terrible experience

Consistently terrible experience. No responsibility taken for service issues. Thought it would be better after Uber took it over. Cx went from bad to worse. Never again will I give this dumpster fire of a company my business. I deleted my account today.

Thieves

I spent a lot of money with Postmates and after 1+years, 2 different credit cards were stolen and used in 2 different states within 90 days. I had to cancel both cards. They are thieves. After I stopped buying through them, the credit card fraud stopped. Stay away from them.

Bad Vetting System & Customer Service

Postmates has a really bad system when it comes to drivers canceling on orders. Recently, had a situation where the driver went to the wrong address (no fault of our own) and when he called we answered right away making sure to remind him of the correct address. Instead of listening he ended up driving blocks away and we never received our food. Mind you the food had a*coh*lic beverages . We call him again but he doesn’t answer so we wait another 20 minutes. As this is going on, we escalate the situation to Postmates customer service but by then the driver cancels on us. Instead of Postmates fully refunding us for a meal that we never received— they charge us $15 for an a*coh*l fee. This is absolute nonsense since we didn’t receive the food nor the beverages. After we escalate the situation AGAIN they refund us $5.52. We didn’t accept that since a refund should not be partial. Once we escalated the situation it one more time we finally receive the refund for $15 back however we were still charged $5.52 in tax and we are waiting to see if that will be refunded. Overall, horrible experience with Postmates and their customer service. It should not be on the customer to pay for the negligence of a driver especially one who never made the effort to drop the food off. Additionally, if there is an option for drivers to deliver a*coh*l— a driver who cancels on an order with a*cho*lic beverages (& doesn’t make an effort to taker the order back to the store or the customer) should be penalized. Ridiculous service 0/10 on Postmates.

Calling me sort of defeats the purpose...

I have mostly good experiences with the app/service, but the bad experiences are giving my social-anxiety-riddled-self some trust issues whenever I think of using the service.

I'm sure some people like that places call whenever they need to substitute an item, but having phone anxiety means I really would prefer if they just check the preferred substitution I chose and move on.

I'm sure there are people out there who have this complaint in their review as an actual positive. I just can't man. Maybe add a feature that gives contact preference and look at that first?

This service is full of thieves

This service is full of thieves. Today my driver took my order home to enjoy. I contacted Postmates and they didn’t care. Contacted the store and they said first driver took it then another driver came in and try to take another. Shady ass company
