Rip off Britain

Read the small print as they charge you £40 for the slightest thing , we changed bank accounts so some confusion with payment which they charged us , we had to cancel policy with 2 months remaining as we are emigrating , another charge of £43 , disgraceful and the two agents I have dealt with were very stern and unfriendly . You better read your terms and conditions.

Happily took an annual payment for my VW Transporter.

At the end of the term, I didn’t know that the policy automatically renews so I didn’t worry about it. The vehicle is now off road. They told me that they sent a reminder email but this must have gone into my junk folder. Now they are demanding £152 because I have “cancelled the policy before the end - it’s in our terms and conditions.” Curiously enough, they PHONED me to tell me that. This is extortion but there is nothing I can do.

Do not ever use the Post Office for anything.
