First I was told off for turning up at 12:25 to send my parcel when the post office counter closed at 12:30. When I was given the options of how my International parcel could be sent it was with a ve... See more

Diabolical Customer Service
Waiting over half an hour to get served. Two counters were open then one cashier shut hers to do a bit of admin. Another member of staff moved some parcels about and then left the shop and went shopping. Eventually got served, there was no apology for the wait, not even a hello or goodbye just grumpy staff. By this time the queue had doubled in size. Absolutely diabolical customer service.

Total wankers
Total wankers, delivered my parcel to wrong address AGAIN
The postal service is so bad now
The postal service is so bad now. Just received a 2nd class card posted 22/01 that arrived 30/01. Even a few cards posted first class took 3 days. Yet the price of a stamp goes up and up.
Great service from Union Street Torquay PO
We went into the post office on Union Street, Torquay to update both my husband and my own DVLA Licence and our passports feeling quite dubious. However, how wrong were we! A young man dealt with us in a professional, polite, and friendly way and made the whole thing easy and accessible and we would like to say Thank You as it is the best service we have ever had and wished we had got a name.
Wattville Road Post Office
I wanted to share how overjoyed I was to see Roopie Gill back at the Post Office today. Roopie was one of the original people wrongly affected by the Post Office scandal Horizon and seen her smiling and behind the desk today was truly heartwarming. Her and her family has been through and still going through alot.
She is a strong woman to be able to hit rock bottom for no fault of her own and through dedication, commitment and passion to clear her name for her family and herself she stand strong for future. Making my visit so pleasant and reassuring that my parcel would be delivered from Birmingham to Nottingham. It seems so much to see and to believe that this heartwarming person still has a big smile on her face, welcoming the public warmth and dedication to the job she loves. Thank you Roopie you've made my day!
Ignorant abusive staff
So sad that the once great Post Office service is now a useless, offensive shambles. I took an overseas parcel into two local post offices today and they didn't even know what a customs label is. The compound the matter, one of them got abusive into the bargain. Worst of all, it is now completely impossible to contact the PO HQ by phone, so there's no way to report or complain about it other than filling in a form on the website that you know will never be answered.
Went into spar post office 27/01/2026…
Went into spar post office 27/01/2026 in droylsden to send an important document to Birmingham in a clearly labelled envelope with the to address on one side and my home address on the other on 24hr recorded delivery.next day it was delivered to my home because the guy on the counter put the label on the wrong side.when I went in I was told it was my fault because I handed it in the wrong.i had to point out they were the professionals and I was a customer, how do I know how to handle their weighing scale,it was their responsibility to check the details and process it. Their attitude was as if I drove from Birmingham to Manchester and paid £5-40p to have it put through a letterbox 100metres from to post office.i had to have a stand up arguement in a full shop to have it rectified and even then did not acknowledge it still needed to be sent to Birmingham on a new recorded delivery as the original was now shown as a successful delivery.very poor customer service and attitude and didn't want to accept any responsibility
Wrong information for the opening timings for the Post Office at Temple Fortune, 1063 Finchley Road, London, NW11 0PU
Wrong information for opening timings for the Post office at Temple Fortune, 1063 Finchley Road, London, NW11 0PU. When I was looking online for click and collect location in my area the opening hours of the Post Office was showing 07:00-22:00, however when I went to collect my parcel at 20:30 I was told by the guy in the shop that the collection point closes at 19:00??? Despite I showed my email to the sell assistant, the timing on the email for confirming my parcel is ready to collect was showing 07:00-22:00, he said this is wrong information. The sell assistant was standing just next to the parcels, but still refused to give me the parcel and kept saying this is wrong information. Post Office can you please clarify and revise the opening timings for the location mentioned above, so the confusion can be avoided.

sent a letter tracked on 6 Jan and as of now 20 Jan 2026 it is still in the system at North West Midland MC.
Local Office gave me a number to call which say it cannot accept calls
calling 03457223344 just goes round in circles with a young lady spouting useless information
They do not want to talk to anyone so can they not wonder why people do not want to use them
Had to resend special delivery should be there by 13:00 hrs todat for £9.25 another rip off Britain
Why are there no negative stars on her I would give them minus 100
Even a week ahead didn't work
I sent a birthday present to my son in Brighton, 1st class, with 7 days grace period to cater for the poor reputation.
They sent it to Bournemouth instead of Brighton, which they kindly informed me about on their tracking page, then lost it.
In limbo now, deciding if I should buy the present again and drive for a few hours to deliver it by hand, or wait and see if this useless company ever do what they were paid to do.
I have just returned from the Bletchley…
I have just returned from the Bletchley Post Office in Bletchley and happily to report excellent service. I had a couple of tasks to do, renew a driving licence due to age and some new identity photographs taken. All was taken care of easily and I was given helpful information too. Very professional, efficient, pleasant and friendly service. 5 stars given would of given more if I could.

Mis-selling of DPD service without consent, refusal to refund unused service, refusal to escalate to a manager, and refusal to return my receipt. Forced to pay twice. Formal complaint submitted.
Weymouth post office
Weymouth post office , 3 Weeks before Christmas 2025, I posted a Christmas card to a friend in Montana USA and I got a text message saying she only got it today, I posted another card today at the post office, last time they charged me £2.70 today they charged me £3 .40, I queried it and they told me that I probably did pay enough postage, but that is what they told me it was, it is ridiculous when incompetent staff cannot tell me proper information, because my friend was upset that she didn't get a Christmas card from me , but because of the post office service they only got it nearly 4 bloody weeks late . I think I should get compensation for the upset to me and my friend in Montana in the USA .
Bad Service. Zero Accountability.
My old passport should have been returned to me on the 23rd of December 2025. It never arrived. I sent an online inquiry on the 29th of December which got no response. On the 4th of January 2026, I phoned the post office to make a complaint. Around 10 days later, I received a call - from a private number, which was pretty underhanded as there would be no record of the call. The basic gist of the call was: "Yeah, we lost it. We'll tell the passport people, followed by probably the most vapid and worthless apology I have ever received. The post office clearly couldn't care less.
HM Passport office claims "This incident has been registered with our Security team as a potential data breach". You don't have my passport, you can't account for it's whereabouts and you are no longer in control of that data. So there is nothing "potential" about it. It is absolutely a data breach and I will be following up by presenting all of this information to the ICO when I report both you and the post office for it.
Also, please explain to me why, after being basically ripped off for £115 for a service that you failed to provide, I should then pay extra for a fraud prevention service that is only necessary as a result of fault on the part of the Post Office.
The service I have received has been underwhelming and the responses chasing it up have been abysmal to the point of being pretty insulting, so this whole message will also be posted to Trustpilot so other unsuspecting mugs can see the quality of service you offer.
More people should be going to the…
More people should be going to the council about this company - the scandal a few years back shows h ow little regard they have for human life. T he Hecht here are corrupt, evil, demonic entities disguised as humans before they’ll ultimately be sentenced to an eternity in my he underworld. Truly EVIL company and I’m going to the council this week.
Useless
Paid for a 3month mail redirection, mail started going to the new place 1st 2weeks, then this week I have had so far 4 letters going to old address 2hrs away!!! Phoned to complain and told them its out of order that I have paid £51.50 for a service they have not fulfilled, will they give you some compensation, will they heck, what's the point in paying for this service, absolute joke, everything I have i am going to try and go paperless from now on. Royal Mail has got so slack these last few years.
