Good customer service experience

I haven't had time to fully use the app. I reached out to customer service via email and my cancelation request was handled immediately. Josh was very nice and professional in his emails. I will give them a try in the future. I see some negative reviews. They can't please everyone all the time. But I can tell they really do try, and

I had a problem

I had a problem, and their DEVELOPERS. Yes, not just the support team is working on solving it. They're literally changing code to fix this for me... That's top-notch support.

My honest review about Post Planner and Josh

Here's my honest review about postplanner.

I was testing it out as I wanted to see the results on one of my pages when scheduling content.

The goal was to test it out for 30 days, see "better" results than what I usually get and then do a video about it on YouTube to try get people to use it.

After 30 days, my results were worse and my revenue from facebook wasn't as good.

The views went downhill as well.

I was also posting a lot more so in theory, I should have made 2-3x the revenue from facebook.

I believe Facebook knows when you're using a scheduling tool and penalises you with lower reach, etc.

In saying that, I tested it out, didn't get the results I was looking for.

I paid for 1 month which is all i wanted and then cancelled. (Pretty sure he gave me 2 months for the price of 1) so I could test it out which was nice.

After the 2 months, I was charged another "about $140AUD" or something along those lines.

In most softwares/tools, there's a cancelation button.

You press it, it cancels your subscription and that's it.

It's easy.

With Post planner, there isn't.

I tried to cancel and a box came up on why I was cancelling or leaving.

I put my answer in, hit enter and thought that was it.

What I wasn't aware of, you actually have to email Josh to cancel.

I've used hundreds of different tools/softwares and not once have I ever had to email them to cancel.

I ended up emailing Josh as I was confused AF and he refused to give me a refund even though I showed him evidence I tried to cancel.

I also didn't use the app after I tried to cancel either.

As he refused to give me a refund, I had no option but to contact my bank.

I got the money back and he blocked me from using post planner.

I find the whole situation really weird as I was literally trying to help him get more people to use the app as I saw a lot of value in it for creators and people on Facebook.

The reason why I know he blocked me was because 20 minutes ago, I wanted to pay for 1 month so I was able to do some YouTube videos on the software as I still believe it's great value for marketers to use.

Soon as I was on the website, it said I was blocked.

Just find the whole situation weird as when I first contacted Josh, he seemed like a nice, genuine guy and in this industry, it's rare to find nice people.

It's why I wanted to do some youtube videos on it.

There's a few cons with the software.

I won't mention all of them.

Main ones being the pages I actually wanted to see the posts on, they were non existent.

And those pages were the most important to research.

The data is also not true in many cases.

I have one of the most viral animal pages on Facebook so my posts should be all over postplanner when I type in the animal

It's not.

In fact, literally none of my posts were showing up. I saw maybe 5 of them.

But considering I have thousands and hundreds of them have millions of views each, they should be everywhere on the app which they aren't.

Instead, a lot of random posts were coming up so that tells me they have some data but not everything.

Still helpful for most people though.

And obviously a lot of pros as well.

Scheduling tool is easy to use but more importantly, the fact you can find posts in your niche and recreate them is great and that alone, the app is well worth it in my opinion.

Highly recommend anyone to test it out and hopefully it works for you :)

Seriously impressive scheduling tool

I've recently started using Post Planner, and I'm really impressed by it. The content buckets give me great control over posting my different forms of content to the various social channels exactly how I want to. The interface is intuitive and support requests are answered quickly and helpfully.

The only scheduler I'm committed to

I love how easy post planner is. Not going to lie, the deals offered when signing up were a huge draw, but the ease and team support are what have made me committ. The team listens to feedback and works with you to make the tool better. It's my favorite that I've tried and the price is so doable. I highly recommend.

support is a JOKE!!

This review is Not Unprompted - this came for a direct interaction and was a Real-time problem -

Support is a JOKE!!! No phone number for direct contact - instead wasted Hours of going back and forth being locked down to a pc or phone until A SIMPLE ISSUE IS RESOLVED
lol See the his excuse - "I try" he doesn't try - if he did he wouldn't be afraid to speak to his clients - the guy is a clown - I guess that's what make this a Joke (not funny)

Oh wow, so sorry about this bad experience! I try to do my best to help our customers quickly, but sometimes I don't quite pull it off. 😔 We don't offer phone support, but our chat and email support is pretty fast most of the time. Anyway, sorry again and let me know if I can help with anything else! ~Josh

the platform is super handy

the platform is super handy, it lets me hit all the main social media networks which is invaluable when you're a content creator with a full-time job.

I had a personal issue and almost had to give up the service for a month or so, and they were amazingly helpful. Highly recommend

Best customer service ever.

In about three years of being with this company, I have only had to reach out to them 3 or 4 times. On each occasion the service I have received has been swift and the problems have been resolved to my utter satisfaction. If only all companies were as good as this for their customers.

Why I chose Post Planner

I'm a details guy so I checked out all the schedulers that were in my budget - and there are a lot

I went back and forth trying different trial subscriptions, after a long testing I cancelled everything and stuck with Post Planner

Reasons:

1) very granular control over posting
2) genuine, set and forget automation
3) constant updates/new features
4) the content curation feature is a goldmine

Probably other stuff I've forgotten too, but perhaps most of all, the very responsive support - often from the developer himself

I'm talking 48hr turnaround for fixing bugs, payment queries dealt with on the spot

To not sound like a sycophant, for balance, I'd say the app design is not as polished as some other competitors

Part of the reason I think, is that Josh moves fast in adding new features, so functionality seems to take precedent over form.

I'm OK with this, and to be clear, I'm talking only in terms of aesthetics/UI - the app itself is solid, I've never had a crash, bad glitch, posting error

Overall, the pluses hugely outweigh any minuses - I'd much rather have the best featured app, than the best looking app

PP wins for me

Use for free plan that's it

When it was time to renew my plan they upgraded me to a higher plan without my knowledge and did not give me any email notification when I seen the charge on my bank statement they told me it was too late for a refund. Also they were not able to link and post on my instagram.

Bummed to read this, Abdul. I reached out privately to see if I could resolve this for you, but I didn't hear back. According to our logs, you signed up for our Starter annual plan on May 31, 2024. Then 4 days later on June 4, 2024 you upgraded your account to the Growth annual plan from inside the app.

We have no control over what you do inside the app and whether you choose to upgrade or not. We can't stop you from upgrading your plan if you choose to do so. But we do make you confirm any attempted upgrade with multiple confirmations — to make sure you're doing the upgrade on purpose and not by accident.

For example, when you try to upgrade from inside the app, we show you a popup that says: "Are you sure you want to upgrade your account to the Growth plan?" You then have to confirm "Yes, upgrade my account" to actually execute the upgrade.

Regarding what happened in your case, you probably hit a limit in the app where you couldn't use a certain feature or couldn't create more posts without upgrading. You were on our lowest plan before the upgrade, so you had access to very few features and had severe limitations on creating posts. But whatever led to you upgrading your account, I just want to be clear: we (Post Planner) did not upgrade your account, as you said in your review. You upgraded your account.

One last thing: You said we did not send you a reminder email before the renewal. We did, in fact, send you a reminder email 4 days before your renewal on May 31, 2025 at 7am PT. According to our email management software, you opened the email.

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of this. And if you're still posting to social media for your business, ping me. I'll do everything I can to help you and your business, whether that be with a big discount on Post Planner, or with guidance on social media strategy. I'm hear to help! ~Josh

Fantastic customer service

Fantastic customer service. They actually reached out to me during my trial to see if there was any features I would like to see added or if I needed help. They immediately fixed a glitch I was experiencing and tweaked my plan to suit my needs. Great company and great product.

Better than the rest!

I trialed another tool first which cost double the price and the support was close to non-existent. The difference with Post Planner is amazing! I feel like I've asked a bunch of annoying questions but Josh answers quickly and cheerfully in record time. I'd give 10 stars if I could!
