Stuart and his team looked after the arrangements for my husband's funeral with professionalism, respect and kindness. Stuart always knew when my spirits needed lifting during the darkest of days and brought a smile to my face with a story or a joke.

This was the first time I've arranged a funeral and Stuart gave me guidance and advice throughout the process.

My husband worked for London Ambulance Service and Stuart liaised with them to make the arrangements for the ceremonial part of the service.

It was exactly what I wanted and was a perfect send-off for my husband.

I would recommend Stuart and his team without hesitation.

Stuart and the team were brilliant helping me navigate my way through the funeral process. Constant communication and added personal touches on the actual day of the funeral. Eternally grateful for looking after partner while he was with you and the perfect send off he had.

Back in 2015, when we lost Dad, Stuart and his team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism. They assisted me, my sister, and our families in celebrating Dad’s extraordinary life with immense support. It was a relief knowing he was being cared for by individuals familiar with him, and they were visibly moved when they realized they were arranging a farewell for someone they'd known, destined to reunite with Mom, whom Stuart had also cared for years prior. Our gratitude goes to Stuart and his team for their compassion during such a difficult period. They allowed us to mourn without feeling rushed to pick up our father. We remain eternally grateful. In 2022, when my brother-in-law passed, we turned to Stuart and his team again. Their care and empathy surpassed our expectations. Though Stuart Poulton Funeral Directors are located in North Weald, they willingly traveled to Greys, proving that no request is too great for them. We are deeply appreciative of their efforts.During the toughest times, Stuart and his team truly shine. In 2024, when my sister passed, we immediately reached out to Stuart to handle everything. Their attention to detail, down to color-coordinating ties and socks, relieved us of any worries. Stuart's team, consistently supportive through all our losses, made each farewell unique and heartfelt. We are incredibly thankful and wholeheartedly recommend their services.

Hard to put into words. But I can't find fault with anything they did. Stuart and his team were wonderful. 10 out of 10. Thank you for all your hard work.

Stuart was amazing helping with my dad’s funeral. He made a really tough time so much easier and took a lot of pressure off my mum, sisters, and me. His mix of professionalism and humour put us at ease and really helped us start to heal. I can’t recommend Stuart and his team enough — they made the whole day run smoothly.

Its been a while to write this 5* review for Stuart as he looked after my daughter and more recently my mum.

Stuart and his team act in such a professional manner in looking after your loved one. From start to finish, he takes the stresses and the pressure out of a very difficult situation and goes above and beyond his duties and treats it personally as if it’s a member of his family.

I cannot recommend him and his team enough. I’m forever grateful for what he does. Thank you 🙏

In 2015 when dad passed away Stuart and his team couldn't have been more professional than they were when they helped me, my sister and both our families celebrate the exceptional life of our dad. It was comforting to know that he was being looked after by people that actually knew him and were genuinely shocked when they realised who they were about to send off to meet up with our mum who was looked after by Stuart many years before. Thank you Stuart and your team for the care and compassion you showed us and that very sad time. You gave us the time to grieve without any pressure to collect our dad from your shelf. We will always be grateful and once again thank you.
Unfortunately in 2022 my brother-in-law also passed away and again we went to Stuart and his team to take care of our loved one. Again the care and compassion given to us was beyond anything we could have wished for. Stuart Poulton Funeral Directors are based in North Weald but were more than happy to come to Greys. Nothing is ever too much for them. Again thanks for everything.
The most saddest times are when Stuart and his team come to the fore. My sister passed in 2024 so we did not hesitate in calling Stuart to make the arrangements. We knew that we would not have to worry about any aspect of the day. The team even colour co-ordinated their ties and Stuart his socks. His Team, who have been consistent during all our bereavements, made every passing special and individual. We can't thank them enough. We would recommend them in a heart beat.

We had the horrible experience of losing a loved one and u don’t know where to turn !! But we rang Stuart Poulton Funeral Directors and all our worry’s and fears were laid to rest pardon the pin ! Stuart and his team were just simply caring kind friendly and very professional and made this journey so much easier for us !! From start to finish it was the most spectacular service ever and so kind and caring on the day too and made us feel special !
