Think we got a different ‘Elaine Tottie’ to other people who have written reviews. we had to ring on a Friday each week for feedback from her. Elaine is definitely not proactive. Within our sale we needed a DOV from a management company and after weeks of Elaine telling us the same thing - “I’ve not heard from the management company I’ll chase” I was that frustrated (and could have potentially lost our buyer as he was getting fed up with no progress) I took it upon myself to contact the relevant department & ask them to respond to Elaine. From there on in I had to chase various parties to get our sale through. The whole process has been exhausting & stressful just what you don’t need when grieving a loved one and we’ve even been heavily charged for the experience. We did leave a message for Michael Andrew Parascandolo to call us back but we are still awaiting his call. When talking to colleagues & friends over the last few months (venting our frustration) they told us they had experienced the same situation with Elaine Tottie and said they would have told us to avoid Powell Eddison. So this is the only reason I’m taking the time to do this review, so others don’t have to endure the same dreadful experience we’ve had.

A fantastic experience. Quick, dedicated, accurate and utterly professional. I used Elaine Tottie who saw my property sale through without mishap despite me being in Spain! She and the who,e team were outstanding. Elaine works all hours - bank holidays and weekends to ensure the customer always comes first.

I have used Elaine Tottie and her team twice this year for conveyancing. I had to change solicitors , because of a conflict of interest.What a recommendation from the estate agents. Wish I’d found them years before. The most professional , and informative solicitors I’ve ever used. Always came back with a reply to any questions I had straight away. Even sometimes on an evening. I have used Powell Eddison for several conveyancing matters over time. On each occasion my purchase/sale has been managed by Elaine Tottie. Elaine is diligent and approachable. She is easy to contact and keeps me regularly informed about progress. Having Elaine as my solicitor gives me a great deal of confidence which takes a lot of the stress out of the buying/selling process, which is invaluable.
