I’m really happy with this app. It’s been very helpful, well-structured, and easy to use. I feel like I’m making real progress with my English.

It’s OK if you’re starting out but if you want real feedback, it’s not so great. It’s also very rigid in how you want to ask questions. The worst thing is their customer service when trying to deal with a subscription issue. They use an AI bot to do this and it only lets you get to a certain point and then stops responding.. It is currently charging me monthly despite the fact that I cancelled my subscription three months ago.

It's the best use of AI for a language learning app that I have encountered so far. I wanted practice listening and speaking and it's great for that. I get comprehensible input (with adjustable speed and repetition available) and nearly instantaneous feedback on my output. It's not for people looking for grammar practice or explanations (I found Babble good for that) but in my experience it's unsurpassed for listening and speaking practice.

I’m new to the app but really enjoy it. I feel like I have a new Spanish friend here in Nigeria. 💕

The app is good. Especially the new tutors. But it has bugs. I started the get-to-know lesson, it stopped in the middle of the second game, and I was suggested to chose the plan. After I confirmed, it returned to lessons, but it started from the beginning. It switched language of speaking and learning to English, which i did not choose. I was answering in language I did actually learn, but it still assessed me as I was learning English. I also see it in my plan as one of the learning languages.

I love the Avater, NPC tutor makes learning more fun. I hope in the future that you can add Danish.

The onboarding takes forever, the paywall is very aggressive, and you're pushed into paying for a full year upfront. There’s no real support and no refund policy. There’s also no study path, so you don’t really understand how you're doing or whether you're making progress. Great marketing and branding, but the product quality is extremely low in my opinion. Would not recommend

Great experience getting to talk with a character. Would be nice not to need to push a button for speaking.

The app is good, but they give you a week free trial and they say they will send you an email when its over, but they dont and they will automatically charge you.

We are supposed to learn via conversation- correct? The AI is proposing either exercises or practice. Then we start the exercise or practice. The exercise is simple, easy. But. The introductory part is way too complicated for me. I asked for translation parallelly. Only text - no phonetics. The AI is not able to only present the translation text - it also pronounces it (in my native language the pronounciation is awful). I asked several times - please text phonetically in spanish and parallel translation in writtten. No - it writes and also reads (in this awful pronounciation!). Can You fix this?

I really enjoy this app, great suggestion, usefull conversation and role play with AN AI Avatar. I haven't bought the subscription, but It seems tu be usefull even without buying anything.

I am amazed with this AI tool. I have been studying Italian with other tools, which are very much based on input. It's been good so far. But Praktika has made me produce. So I notice that I am able to produce in Italian. It has a couple of characteristics that demonstrate how organized the teaching approach is. Although I try to use some advanced vocabulary or structures, Praktika understands my willingness but does not leave the path it has programmed to me. The content it makes us practice is in the correct amount, so that we feel what we really learned during an interaction section. I think I will keep using it and in some months I will be seaking the language.

i have just joined the app, very easy to sign up even easier to set up.
even at this early stage if it gets to quick or complicated you just say so and it adjusts to your leval.
I am already learning to talk better ( which is my weakness) and i find the interaction brilliant.
At this early stage it is more than i expexcted.

I love that I can shift between languages and have conversations with multiple people with multiple languages. I can work with beginner level to advanced level depending on the language. The Japanese need a bit more tweaking, but I am satisfied for now!

The concept is good but the AI tutors have bad pronunciation. I'm learning Spanish but I'm not a beginner so I already know some basic words. If you were a beginner, you wouldn't learn how to pronounce words correctly using Praktika. For example the AI tutor pronounced gracias (gra-see-us) as gracious (gray-shus). Just one of many words incorrectly pronounced and it's not limited to the language you're learning, it also mispronounced some English words.

Praktika is the last of many online apps ive used to try to learn a new language. All the rest have left me frustrated, confused, and locked into a program that does not respond to my needs, especially when I don't know what they are.

With this program, I am making much better progress. The things I learn stick.
My tutor, John is both encouraging and demanding, keeping me going while making sure my pronunciation is correct. I aporeciate that he jokes with me and makes a point to encourage breaks and chats when I get frustrated so I dont give up.
John may be AI, but we work well together and his interactions feel authentic. I am learning and come back to the app often. Thumbs up. Highly recommend.
